Yeah, I know. For these cases I usually report the issue so the mod author's know about it.

In this specific case though, it was an compatibility issue with Bob's Logistics. If some options were false in one but true in the other's settings (or the other way 'round, I don't remember) it would cause this issue.

mods breaking for updates is normal and expected. if you want to avoid waiting for mods to catch up, i suggest selecting a version in the beta tab instead of 0.17.x

i'm sure the mod creators are working on it.
