Mafia 2 "Remastered"

Just a simple guide that shows you how to improve the graphics.

SweetFX

This mod makes the biggest differences, and overall improvements.
The Preset adds the following:
-SMAA
-CA (I've disabled it, but you can turn it back if you want)
-LEVELS
-LUMASHARPEN
-LIFTGAMMAGAIN
-TONEMAP
-VIBRANCES
-CURVES
-BLEACH
-DEFOG
-SEPIA

Vanilla in the left - Reshade in the right

All the screenshots used were taken with different brightness values. The vanilla has 5, while Reshade has 7. I personally hate how grey and boring the vanilla looks, so i'm good with 7.

Installing SweetFX

Drag and drop the content from Reshade, to your Mafia 2 directory, it should be in SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Mafia II\pc

If you've done it right, this little text will appear on your screen each time you start the game.

If I download "Re-experience Mafia II with a fresh coat of HD paint" can I download "HD Graphics Texture Mod replaces the old outdated ground textures with new HD textures for asphalt, stone paving and land" too or does files from those mods overwrite themselves?

Thanks for the "Extra" section, the SweetFX one is trash because my game doesn't launch anymore after I install SweetFX and the SweetFX settings, but after I remove them the game starts just fine. From the "Extra" I use spiffs empire bay hq 1.2, it's nice so thank you for that.
