Basic Play Style
With gorton you basically want to use your speed to your own advantage. Strafe (hold d or a) while looking at your target you want to either time it just right so it stays in your target when it goes to comeback to you or you are going to want to throw it through the target and move to make your sickle catch him on the rebound. Also it is important to note that you never want to stop moving even if you cant see a projectile you are going to want to be spamming jump and holding w and steering with you mouse and A/D keys.
Fighting Gileads With gorton you are going to want to avoid fighting more than 1 gilead at the same time as in most rooms you cant keep your eye on both. A good strategy to take out a gilead that is hiding on the roof of a small structure is to throw the sickle above the roof then quickly run back under it so that the roof is inbetween you and the wall.
Fighting Mothras (I think they are called that and if mothra is the boss moth then its little counter parts). To fight a mothra your going to want to stay next to a wall and wait for its projectile to shoot then run up under it or next to it throw your sickle and get back to the wall rember keep moving while next to the wall. One important thing to do is if you have a mothra ball following you and you arent next to a wall or cant get next to one is to orbit it around you until its orbit goes over your head. You can do this by jumping when it gets close then when it comes back around it should have an orbit that hits the floor.
For the little fireball shooty guys all you are going to want to do is either throw your sickle which is a one shot or just tap left click really fast and kill it. Don't Avoid killing theese guys either as sometimes you forget the and they shoot you while not looking and you can kill them very easily but prioritise a gilead or mothra if you are just runnning around the room.

This is it for now I will get back to this later add me if you wish to contribute to this and/or fix errors etc.

Something of note: Blowfish actually is also a damage down

But losing the speed for me makes it much harder to dodge and hit my sickle.

Well, as the fastest character with the lowest health, it can be a godsend, cause it still puts you a bit higher than Dy-No-Mite or Gilead speed.

Personal preference I like going faster and never take blubber on any character.

Blubber is an item you should take as anyone. Also, items like Sea Legs and Piracy?

The Sickle does really stupid-high damage if you can throw it so that it does the rebound spin while inside of an enemy! I find it really effective on bosses.
