Introduction
Hi! I found the lack of maps of dungeons disturbing so I decided to make this guide!

You only need 7 out of 9 pieces to complete the game, there are 11 locations where you can get these pieces.

You cannot meet the people with the map pieces if you dont know they have them, this is why clues must be gotten from others first.

You cant see a map in the dark.

If the achievement doesnt pop-up right away, try leaving the game to the main menu and then continuing.

There are mysteries in the dungeons that I couldnt figure out, if you find out something let me know and I will add it to the guide and credit you :)

That said, I left out special events in the dungeons to make it more fun, mostly traps.
I do mention things that I couldnt figure out in a dungeon in their own section if you are curious.

There is a time limit but its so big, you might as well ignore it.
I was able to visit all dungeons and get all pieces in three seasons (9 months) and by sleeping a full day when getting to a town and a full night's sleep while travelling, I also travelled from one side of the map to the other twice, so yeah, I took it easy.

The time limit is 2.5 years, thats 30 months.

This guide is full of spoilers, about where to go, some traps and interesting loot.
If you are sensitive about being spoiled about these subjects, please dont read ahead.
Map Piece - Felsteyn
Map Piece - Angbodirtal
Beorn is a tricky fellow to talk to.. and to find.

If he is always out for you, the thing is, you need to ask around the Tavern for him.
Most of the time the innkeeper will tell you he doesnt know him, but he lies.
Keep buying stuff and pressuring him until he tells you his location in town, its here.

But without the innkeeper directions, he will always be out, no matter how long you wait.

Save before talking to him.

He has a piece but you might not get it depending on your options and talents.

Choices I made:
We are in a mission from the Hetman.
Tell him the whole story.
Can you help us?
Well, that wasnt much.

If you did it right, a map piece is yours!
*Even if you fail, reload and try the dialog again, it might be a social talent roll to get the map piece rather than the choices.
Map Piece - Pride of Hjalland
First, you need to have the clue regarding Swafnild Egilsdotter active in your journal.

Then, in any Harbor town, save a game then keep entering and exiting the harbor until you see a peculiar ship.

Tell Swafnild about your quest and she will mention she has a map piece in one of the other harbor towns and if you go with her, she will give it to you. Agree to this.

After 5 or 6 days of sailing (doesnt matter if the town you are going is the town next over) you will arrive and she will tell you to "wait there".

BUG: If another scripted event happens right at this moment, it will delete the map piece giving event.
If this happens, you can try entering and exiting the harbor building to repeat the process.
If it doesnt work, reload your previous save.

Once, she just ignored my map request and said she didnt have it, maybe social skills are required to convince her to give you the piece.

If everything went well, you will get the map piece!
Map Piece - Varnhome
You dont need to learn her location from the innkeeper for this one, but you can.

She lives here:

Ask for the map piece and she will send you to Hjalland to clear the temple of the nameless.
See dungeon section below for more details.
Map Piece - Skjal
Jurge Torfinson has a piece of the map here but he wants a letter from the Hatsman himself, so go back to the starting town to get one and come back. The map piece will be yours.

You wont be able to get the piece unless you know Jurge has one.

After you get the clue and talk to him, he will ask proof that you are here on Hatman's orders.
You need to go back to Thorwal and back here to show him the letter and get the map piece.
Map Piece - Ottarje
Hjore Ahrenson's house can be found here:

Careful what you say or you might kill him, save before talking to him.
Dont mention the Hatsman, wait for him and MAP GET!
Map Piece - Vidsand
Ragna Firunjasdotter lives here and will give you the map pretty easily if you are nice to her and ask her if there is anything else she knows she will talk about the map, ask to see it (dont ask for it).

Map Piece - Clanegh/Thoss
To find Yasma, you must first travel to Clanegh and ask about her at an Inn, they will send you to Thoss. Go there.

In Thoss, talk to Yasma here:

She will send you off to a dungeon, hurray!

Check out The section Dungeons - A Ruin
Map Piece - Brendhil/Orvil
In Brendhil, you can find Tiomar in this house:

He will give you some leads on other map piece bearers and when you are about to thank him and leave, instead, ask him if he knows something else.

He will ask you a letter of recommendation, you can get this from Druid Umbrik in Orvil.

Go to Orvil.

Umbrik lives here, if you cannot find him, make sure to have his clue in your journal and ask in a tavern.

He will send you after Gorah, so exit town and move towards Skjal, you will find him around here:

It takes around 4 days to get there, marching during the day and sleeping all night.
Kill him, search the hut, open the chest, turn back, deliver bone, get letter, go back to Brendhil, get map piece.

Honestly, there are quicker and easier map pieces than this one.
Map Piece - Hjalsingor/World Map
In this town, Algrid Trondesdotter lives up the hill.

She will tell you she sold the map to a travelling merchant, after this I found him after a few days:

I personally found him in my travels from Ottarje to Orvil.
The Map piece costs 60 Ducats.. maybe you should skip this one.
Map Piece - Hermit's Lake
One of the clues will lead you to Phexcaer and you can find Alrik in an Inn if you wait long enough.

He doesnt have a map piece but if you pay him 5 Ducats, he will tell you to go to Hermit's Lake.
You can just ignore all of this and instead of looking for Alrik, turn around at Phexcaer entrace and get out of there towards Hermit's Lake. Save before heading out.

Negotiate with the Griffins, you can reload your last camp if you mess up.

Once you get to the lake, go back out and do a lap around the lake, if you dont find the Unicorn, do a reverse lap. Repeat until you find him. Do not be aggressive and do be patient.

You now have to wait one week or so, pass the time in Hermit's Lake, the do laps again.
I personally went to the goblin cave between Felsteyn and Orkanger to pass my time.

Go back to the lake and find the unicorn again, you will finally get a map piece.

Yeah, the unicorn was at a different place on the road. (I took the normal lap route, again)

Dungeons - Old Bailey (Thorwal)
I decided to make this guide after I already did this dungeon so I dont have much notes on it.
But here are my maps.

I did return after a while and I got a new quest to open that door in the 2nd floor.
I have no idea what triggers this, can be level or beating the nameless cult in Nameless temple.

You get a whole bunch of Ducats for defeating the demon when you report back, but I cant remember how much.. Im sorry >.<

Notable Loot:
Cant remember on the first floors.
Nothing notable in the extra floors.

Blue Squares = Secret Doors
Red Circle = Locked Chest, opened by Iron Key got at Pirate Cave (Brendhil)

Blue Square = Secret Door
Black Circle = Shaft (Needs 50 meters of rope or you can just jump down)
Yellow Triangle = Black Circle Shaft Exit
Blue Star = Cave exit

You must fight and defeat a demon on the east side of the caves, he can only be harmed by magic weapons or spells.
Dungeons - Dwarven Mine (Upper Orcam)

Town Notes:
*Expensive Masterwork weapons can be found in Morka's.

Notable Loot:
Masterwork Axes and 100D.

Pink Circle = Notable Loot
Red X = Statue
Red Circle = Damp Hole
Blue Arrow = Water Trap Escape

Dungeon Notes:
1st floor
I couldnt figure out the statue puzzle, I know it has something to do with the damp hole on floor 2.
If you know, tell me so I can update this and see what I missed.

There is a lone dwarf battle on the west side of the first floor, this is a perfect place to try and get Pacifist, save your game and cast your spells to incapacitate or try to make him flee as his HP gets low, if you fail you can reload and try again.

There is a trap right infront of a door (#10), if your lead person has low Perception talent the party will fall for the trap and Blunderbuss will be achieved.

2nd floor
If you fall down a hole, save before entering the next room, because...

The Water trap is deadly, you have around 40 seconds to escape, find a hidden exit wall here:

There are doors to the sides, if you cant find it, its probably on the opposite wall.

The way back to the exit can be tricky to click on, move around a bit and click everywhere you can to trigger the menu to unlock it.

Another crossbow trap to the northeast for Blunderbuss.
In the next room the 4 veteran fight is deadly, the reward is an assortment of masterwork axes and 100 ducats.

Map from (http://www.vigerp.com/assets/images/games/images/Dwarven-Mine-12.png)
Dungeons - Temple of the Nameless (Hjalland)
Notable Loot:
Black statuette (Quest item)
Magic Ring (Protection against Fire)
Magic Tiara (+2 Resist Magic, replaces helmet)
Golden Shield (Can be used by all, even mages)

When you arrive at Hjalland island, from the port, find the local signpost to travel by foot around the island In reverse, see below.

You will run into a cellar, explore it.

Red arrow = Quest Objective
Pink Circles = Magic Items
Blue Squares = Secret Doors
Blue Stars = Mysterious Levers
Yellow Stars = Well Entrance (needs rope)
Yellow Circle = Stairs down

First floor
Smash the statues, no idea what why, but hey! its fun.
One the west side, you will find a well, this is a shortcut down, take it.

Basement
Nearby there is a lever, leave someone here and continue to explore on this cave, you will get into a big fight and then asked if you want to destroy the altar. Choose Yes.

You will find a black statuette and will be asked if you want to keep it as proof of your victory.
Im not sure if you need it as proof to get the map piece, but I took it anyway.

There is a secret door behind the altar down here and another big fight, you will get a key.
Back here, there are two chests with treasure (magic tiara) and 65 ducats.
You will also find a very dangerous but fun book.

Go back to the ladder to pick up your party member.
If you cant figure out how to get your party member, well, there is a button for that here.

Instead of going up the ladder, use the door near it and continue exploring.

Eventually, you will find a statue behind a door, in a corridor, there is a secret door here.
Behind the door are two paths, one leads to a mysterious crystal ball and the other to someone trapped. If you have ropes, you can save this person and he will give you a magic ring.

If you try to smash the crystal, a battle will happen and you can only win by using magic against this enemy, he is immune to normal weapons. He gives only 2xp if you win and no loot, so do the other route. Instead of smashing it, use someone that knows Ignifaxius and get 25XP.

First floor

With the key you found below, you can now open the red chest which contains a magic shield.

Thats it, lets get outta here!
Note: I got no idea what the silent levers are for or how to use them, if you figured it out, do let us know.
Dungeons - Crumbling Inn
Notable Loot:
Silver Mace (+4 Perception, -2 Necrophobia)
Silver Necklace (-2 Necrophobia)
Red Ring (Resist Magic +2)
Alchemy Recipes (Some poison recipes for achievement)
Skullbelt (-4 Necrophobia)

Rest here and after you click on sleep, you will find a trapdoor, go check it out.

Lots of Undead down here, hope your necrophobia wont be any troubles.

Blue Squares = Secret Doors
Yellow X = Fight with Magical Silver Mace, Magical Silver Necklace as Rewards
Red X = Fight with two magic rings as reward, strange ritual room.
Orange X = Fight with Skullbelt as reward and probably needed to open Orange secret room.
Orange Circle = Defiled Boron Statue, smash it to open the other red square wall.

In the Red X room there is a chest with an apparatus, save before messing with it.

In the basement, there will be an alchemist battle, to the left of the room, a secret door lies.
Behind the door is a tough fight against 2 mummies and 2 magicians, win and get an achievement.
You also get a Skullbelt.

By the stairs leading back up, there is a door, you might miss that.
At the back of this prison is a fight, the reward is a second Skullbelt.

When you are going back to the exit, check out the wall marked with the orange square, a secret door can now be found. There is nothing much of note inside, just a shortcut back to the exit and maybe Boron's divine protection but who really knows.
Dungeons - Pirate Cave (Brendhil)
When travelling from Brendhil to Manrin by foot, you will spot the cave around here:

Lets go get us some treasure!

Notable Loot:
Nostrianisches Bastard Sword (Unbreakable, Two-Handed, Dmg 6-11,+1ATK, Constitution +2)
100 Ducats + Jewelry in secret Swafnir Statue Treasure Hoard.

This place is good for the Pacifist, Blunderbuss and Nudist achievements.

Looks like a beginner's dungeon but its way too far from the beginning town :/

Blue Squares = Secret Doors
Red X = Iron Key
Red Circles = Iron Key Required
Pink Circles = Magical items
Yellow Star = Swafnir Statue
Blue Stars = Levers

Unlucky Ramblings:
Row, row, row your boat, gently down the maelstrom!♪
Much sad about not succeeding.
Beautiful Escape Ladders.

The statue is looking for a Net, he will open a secret door next to him.
The next door will require an iron key.
The treasure within has 100D + Jewelry + Hylailer Feuer recipe.

I put the lever in position 5 and the secret door here finally opened, it was a shortcut to the entrance, I reloaded and position 4 works too.

I thought it would have 2 floors, but couldnt find anymore.

Dungeons - A ruin (Dark mage)
To find this place, you must receive the clue about the dark mage who stole the map piece from Yasma (Look into the section Map Piece - Clanegh/Thoss).

Then travel here:

Notable Loot:
150 ducats
Map Piece
Blue Amulet (+5 Magic Resistance)

Red X = Pouch
Red Square = Hidden Entrance, needs pouch
Red Lines = Invisible Bridges

This place is very strange and you must fumble around looking for hidden invisible bridges by trying to fall off the platforms.

Red Square = Illusion Wall
Pink Circle = Notable Loot

To move between the teleporters, you need to enter them from a certain direction.

Dungeons - Abandoned Mine (Prem)
In the West part of Prem, across a bridge and up a hill you can find the entrance to the Abandoned Mine:

Notable Loot:
Nothing

There is nothing good here, some mining tools and 1 star hatchets in the back, thats it.
Dungeons - A Cave (Runinshavn)
On Runinshavn island, find a signpost to travel to the Lighthouse by foot.

Take the Central Route:

When you enter the cave, save.
In front of you, on the wall, you will find a hole, reach in and get bit by a rat.
Jinx achievement GET!

You can also find a cursed armor here for Bleeding Hell! Achievement.

Notable Loot:
Belt of Strength (+3 STR)
Sword "Bloodhaft" (Unbreakable, Swords, Dmg:5-10 A+2 P+1)
Cursed Armor (Con -5)
Golden Ring (Magical Fire Protection)
50D + Homecomming throwing dagger. (Unbreakable, Talent +3, Dmg 3-8, A-1 P-2, unlimited)

Blue Square = Secret Door
Blue Star = Lever to open secret door
Pink Circle = Notable Loot

"Never try to trick a dragon" - Good advice, worth my 100 silvers.

In the second floor, you can find a magical sword (to kill demons with) and a cursed armor for an achievement. (Equip it once, remove it)

This fine chain mail is better than regular chainmail, so you might want to use if even with the constitution penalty. However, there is a Countermagic Spell called Destructibo which lets you uncurse a magic item at the cost of MAX AE.
Alternatively, you can pay to get it uncursed at the Magic Academy in Thorwal.

In the third floor you can find a cute pet, save at the entrance of this floor just in case.
There is nothing here but the infinite throwing dagger which is pretty easy to get.

This was my favorite dungeon.
Dungeons - The Spider Cave
Halfway between Skjal and Ottarje you will find a trail and if you follow it, this spider cave.

Notable Loot:
20 Ducats + 10 Arax Poisons
Green Tiara (+5 Armor, 5 charges) x 2
Green Tiara (+2 Armor, Permanent)
Red Ring (+2 Magic Resistance, +10 Magic Resistance [5 charges])
Spiders bite (Spear, Poison, Hit reduces enemies attack and parry -2, Dmg 7-12, A+1 P-1)
Arachnoid Almagest: (Gives bonuses to Talents, grants a Druid Spell but raises superstition by 2, can be used by multiple spellcasters)

Orange Circle : Strange Riddle
Orange X: Riddle Solution
Yellow Circle: Crystal
Red X: Spider Altar
Blue Square: Secret Door
Black Squares: Eggs and Escape

1st floor
Riddle teleports you to red star.. I guess to skip some battles? but idk..

Behind a secret door you will find an empty chest.. and a teleporter.
The answer is in the spider statue in the big room in this floor.

I opened the doors to the notable item (spear) with a key but have no idea where I got it.
I think I got it with the almagest but I cant remember where I got that one either.

2nd floor
Praise Spidey! Has a lot of health.
1 Green Tiara + 1 Red Ring

There is a lever and a broken chest here, I couldnt figure out what they do.
I think the lever opens the ladder back to the first floor and into a treasure room. (not the regular stairs)

Dont burn until you are ready to get out (escape nearby).
Dungeons - The Wolf Cave
It tooks me 8 days from Ottarje towards Orvil to get here, travelling by day and sleeping the night.
It only took me 5 days from the cave to Orvil.

But you will encounter a Ferry, use a tracker to find the wolf cave.

Notable Loot:
Elfbow (Not magic, Dmg 6-11, A+0 p+0)

Pink Circle: Elfbow
Orange Circle: Travian Amulet
Red Circle: Debt Ledger, Chain Mail

To search or not to search, treasure found in filth, maybe?

You find a debt ledger, blackmail fuel to get the map piece from Ottarje.. but I remember I got it without much troubles? so its kinda useless.
Dungeons - Goblin Cave
On your way to Clanegh, you will find the cave here:

Notable Loot:
Cursed Light Leather Helmet (-1Charisma, AR+1, A+0,P+0) [No better than reg L.Helm]

Pink Circle = Notable Loot
Red Circle = Rat Hole

This cave was quite unremarkable when it comes to loot, the bear was cool though.

Goblin treasure and pile of waste has minor unremarkable loot.
Some meat in a corner.
Dying goblin goes nowhere.

The Cursed helmets can be used to unlock the achievement Bleeding hell!

The rat hole can be used to unlock Jinx!

Dungeons - The Dead Ship
While sailing you have a chance to encounter this floating dungeon:

Notable Loot:
50 ducats
Bane of Fire Amulet (Protects against Fire)
Green Amulet (Cast Light for 4 hours for free)

Red Star = Riddle Chest
Red Circle = Use Golden key here
Pink Circle = Notable Loot
Pink Star = Ally: Ardora

To find the name, you need to go deep into the bowels of the ship.

You fall, you get up or maybe its just a shortcut down.

Loot the amulet corpse.wwww

To escape the ship, you must fight and defeat the demon, he can only be hurt with magic, be from a magic weapon or spells.

You get nothing at the end, hurray! (I suppose your freedom but.. c'mon!)
Dungeons - Daspota Treasure
All the guides kept telling me to check between Daspota and Rybon but I could never get the adventuress to spawn. I was losing hope when I thought of rumours and I talked to the Innkeeper in Rybon and he told me about the treasure.

With hope in my heart, I set out to Thoss in hopes of finding the cave but after a very deadly mountain trek (involving crows, a maze and a stream) I found the adventuress!

Its weird that I found her on this path and not in the one all guides and even some steam threads alude to.. but anyway, I turned back towards Rybon.

On your way back, you will find the cave right after you pass the murderous mountain events. (Again)
(Or if you are coming from Rybon, if you see crows, you've gone too far)

Notable Loot:
Red Amulet in a fight near entrance (Fire Protection)
55 Ducats in Dorm (Needs High Perception)
22 Ducats in a Fight (Near the Dorm)
30 Ducats and Golden Key (In dead end in the middle)
200 Ducats and Geraldsson Chainmail (+1 AR than normal Chain, less Atk penalties too)

Pink Circles = Notable Loot
Yellow Circle = Golden Key Door
Black Circles = Trapdoor

First floor
Interesting Book, back when we didnt have smartphones.
Trapdoor and lever.. couldnt figure the lever out, maybe its to open the trapdoor?

Second Floor
Got an ancient book, wonder who will take this.
hey! its the treasure!
Biting statues... strange
Dungeons - Orc Cave
In Phexcaer, I heard a rumour about Orcs, Im not sure if you need the rumour to find the cave but it wont hurt to get it first.

Between Phexcaer and Skelellen, you will find the cave here:

I started at Skelellen, but I think its faster if you go there from Phexcaer and return to Phexcaer after you are done.

Notable Loot:
113 Ducats + Claymore of the Winds (magic, two-handed, sword, unbreakable, A+1 P+0)
Orc document.
Red Lunar Disk (+2 Courage, +3 Violent Temper, -1 Charisma)

Pink Circle = Notable Loot
Orange Circle = Bronze key and Bronze Door
Pink Star = Riddle chest has Red lunar Disk.

Lots of booze.
Stinky grub.
Nice fireworks. kid.
Catapult? break.
Riddled Chest, check statues, its not Tairach.
Leave someone at the lever, get loot, pick them back up.
Button at the lower right to merge.

To read the Orc document, give the document to the character you have with the highest Cleverness.
Its a talent roll, not sure which one, so you can just try again and again until you get it.
Buy a CL potion and use it if you still cant read it.

You need to read this document to reach the end of the game.
Dungeons - Hyggelik's Ruins
You can find this on two roads.
On the Phoexcaer - Skelellen or Phoexcaer - Vilnheim (Dragon Oak)

I found it on my way back from the Orc cave, around here:

After a bit of travelling checks through a swamp, some days passed on this path and I found it, across the river.

Bring out your potions and get ready for some tough fights!
Hope you get your necrophilia is in check.

Notable Loot:
Around 800 Ducats for each party member in the golden pile of glittering gold gold. GOLD!
Grimring

Pink Star = Gold.
Red Star = Sword.
Yellow Star = Mysterious Door

To advance, cross the bridge going south that can be found on the east side of the map.
Lots of potions.

Save before getting the gold.
GOLD! What a world.
You only have one chance to grab the sword, dont mess it up!

I dont know how to open the skeleton door.

*You now need to find the orc camp, its on the road between Phoexcaer and Hermit's Lake.
*Check out the Orc Cave section to find the document you need to read to find the camp.
Other Stuff
Things I found interesting

Red Herring
Asgrimm in Breida does not have a map piece, he can point you to others though.
If you want to visit him, he is here:

Sea Chart found in Pirate Cave

Getting your own boat
I dished out the 2500D to get the boat and this is what you get:

I still have no idea where my boat is, I go to the Harbor and they charge me normally.
Any ideas?

Bank
In Thorwal, you can deposit silvers at Stoerrebrandt offices.
There is an interest rate, Its around 5% per week, I think, if anyone has the right numbers let me know.

Griffin's Riddle
On the Phaexcaer-Hermit's Lake road, you will find a Griffing's clearing, here, move on and talk to them and offer them something to pawn. They will want sacrifice but instead just answer their riddle.
You get an achievement if you get it right.

Clue Monolith
North of Hermit's Lake is a Monolith, if you climb up there you get some help.

Unicorn's Prophecy

Nameless Days

During that week, no ships set sail, nobody important opens the door and you will suffer through several battles, hope you got all your magical equipment ready!

Toast memorial
Neat easter egg! You get an achievement too!

How to find:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yubOvfRb2VA

After the ending
Once you defeat the ork champion, the game will boot you to the main menu but if you click on continue, you will be back in Thorwal and if you speak with the hatsman, you will get new shiny medallions that sell for 1 SILVER piece each.. wow! Thanks Hatman!

To be fair, the amulets give you +2 Swimming.. but still.. I just saved the damn world! and I didnt even get to keep Grimring or save the master zombie by purifying the sword in a Boron Temple.. I dont know if such temples even exist.. ugh.. anyway, thats it!

Allies:
Gerbald from Riva: He lives in SW Auplog but you need a high level to recruit him.
Nariell (Ranger): I found her at the Oxhoft Tavern in Clanegh.
Ardora (Warrior): Found in The Dead Ship

Some Notes:
You can wear two rings but for some reasons you need to drop them in a specific region on the character's shadow in the equipment screen, around the chest area.

You can dismiss extra NPCs companions you get by going to a temple and just removing them from a party like usual, but they will get permanently deleted along with all their stuff.

Could you also add "For the Gods" dungeons?

Temple of Nemesis: Silent leaver on 1rst floor removes boulder that is next to it.

Temple of Nameless: the fun book is also increasing history talent

As NPCs:
I believe in Prem tavern: a Thornwalian warrior
On other cities near Overthorn in their taverns there is also a Mage NPC (Curian der Zwielichtige) and Rogue NPC, cannot remember exactly who where.

Crumbling inn: Is there a good income with the apparatus?

Despota Treasure: Well, there is a hidden leaver in the room on 2nd level (I believe near the trapdoor out) that spreads poison and says it will not budge, taking into account straight potion can be found here I would say there is a hidden passage near the statues. Taking into account that there is a cave entrance in Dospota with doors without lock I would say it will lead there, and taking above into concerned maybe some kind of enormous straight count is needed here.

The dead ship: near the prisoner knight in middle room there is a chest with some kind of weight in it. There is a spell that lifts small object, but my party had it on big -, trying to increase it before running again to the ship, but this maybe a way to open it.

try hiring the captain in Prem for the boat
