A guide on how to download / install Adrenaline Gamer 2.

Information

I am NOT a developer of this game.

AG2˛ is HL2DM regular Multiplayer with additional features that make the game faster and more addictive and fun to play. The Tau Canon aka Gauss, longjump pack, bunny hopping, wall jump, brightskin models and hitsound are part of it for instance.

Adrenaline Gamer 2 required source SDK base 2007 to be installed.

WARNING: ag2 is based on a older version of the source engine which could come with certain exploits / bugs, be aware.

Download / install from Zeibig

Download:
1 http://hl2mp.zeibig.me/ag2/ag2_cltsrv_win32_v1.02.zip
2 http://hl2mp.zeibig.me/ag2/ag2_fix.rar

Installation:
1 Extract "ag2_cltsrv_win32_v1.02.zip" into \Steam\steamapps\sourcemods
2 Extract "ag2_fix.rar" into \Steam\steamapps\sourcemods (overwrite files if it asks for it)
3 Restart steam....

AG2 should now be in your library.

Installation:
1. move the folder "ag2" into Steam/steamapps/sourcemods
2. restart Steam

Fixing the server browser

AG2's Server browser could by default be a little broken, tho, there is a fix for this:

1. go to "find servers" menu
2. uncheck "Show map list"
3. done, you can now see servers hosted for ag2

For a very long time i was looking for a download link to this game, and when i found it on hl2mp zeibig i was eager to post it to steam in the form of a guide like this.

I also thought about the websites adrenalinegamer2 (.) com and hl2dmpro (.) com
As many of you who are interested may know these websites used to belong to the game itself, featuring i assume the download link and other useful information about the game and possible match outcomes, player and game info, guides and other stuff about this game.

i'll download it and try it on linux myself, i'll let you know if it worked or not, also i was never around to see the ag2 website myself so i wouldn't know about the files that were hosted there.

Not sure the way you described works fine for linux, because i didn't see the files in original linux archive downloaded from ag2 site

but as mentioned in my guide you can just use the windows files to make a linux server just need to change the bat file to sh right?

Look, i told about ther server running. The info from web archive page:

Install and start HL2DM Pro server :
1) Download hl2dmpro_server_linux_x.x.tar.gz in "srcds" directory using the link on the right of this page
.....
2) Download hl2dmpro_server_win32_x.x.exe file
....

What about these files? Do you have it or do you know who has these files? You won't run ag2 server on any provider's hardware without one of these files.

Btw, you shoul add the files to make the dedicated server in this article too. Its because no files you can find to do this in fast google search
