Blood Alloy comes to Boston Festival of Indie Games!
Blood Alloy is a 2D, sci-fi urban Metroidvania. Play as first Lieutenant Nia Rhys, brought back from the brink of death with an array of cybernetic augmentations. As a hyper-acrobatic, jetpack-propelled cyborg, you'll rain down death and destruction on your enemies with your blaster and energy sword.

- An enormous world to explore with a wide variety of environments: secret laboratories, fetid sewers, frozen meat-packing plants, roaring factories, and even abandoned space-stations

- Fast-paced combat that demands and rewards skill

- Dozens of powerful weapons to collect and use against your enemies

- Unique ability upgrades, each with uses in both combat and exploration

- Vicious bosses

- A gripping storyline that culminates in true, branching-path narrative choices at the end featuring unique objectives and areas to explore (Inspired by the narrative choices featured at the end of the original Deus Ex)

- Beautiful hand-drawn pixel art sprites and backgrounds

- Heart-pounding soundtrack by Goncalo "Shiryu" Lopes

very "hard"/distinctiv and loud metal sound effects, maybe they could be a bit softer? (somehow they sound like they don't really fit imo) I belive they would grow annoying in the long run the way they are now.

I played this at Bostin FIG, the controls are smooth and responsive. I like that you can combo into higher tyr moves. Can't wait for the release!

As i can see, i´m sure you will earn enough money to hire someone =), and as i can see this game has high potential in case of oldschool graphic style and the gameplay looks really full of fun and much action! keep your good work *thumbs up*

Online co-op might be tough for now, but I had tons of fun with Abuse's competitive arenas as a kid over LAN play. If the game sells decently and we can hire someone for online infrastructure, I'd love to see that happen, even if it was just deathmatches and cooperative "horde" mode!

will it get online coop or something else? in the future?

Played this game at BFIG and it was awesome! It feels like Risk of Rain meets Super Meat Boy. Very tight controls, engaging mechanic, overall a really good game. Hope to be seeing this on Steam soon.
