Introduction
I saw a forum asking about the noria so i made this guide, if you see a mistake or think that i should add more information, write it in the coments, i hope this guide will give information about the noria and related benefits
The basics of the Noria
The noria is located in the farming menu, it needs three tiles of fresh water so the weel can be placed, it helps to plant crops in infertile soil, also it helps to create fountains that give water in a bigger radius

The noria can help you plant crops in any place but only if you have a water reserve nearby, the water helps the crops give you one more food per harvest

the water also increases by one the happiness given by the gardens and they will look beautiful, this also requires a reserve nearby
The limits of the noria

the noria as you can see has many benefits, but, what if you want to push it to the limits? where are those imits?, the limits for one noria are 25 waterways (if you consider the back of the noria as one waterway), but that limit is not in straight line, for example if you make a water hub, they also count as a limit, so for example having side water ways reduces the straight limit.

the noria can feed a bath house but feeding one will consume two waterway power, even if you put it in a corner (reducing the conection that you see in game).

The game says that we can use another noria to increase that limit, the increase is by 25 waterways so conect them and reach 50 blocks*
*Consider the one behind the weel

something interesting is that the water reserve can hold water even if the noria power couldnt feed a water way in that position, (see images below)

As twitch. tv/ MrDeaf noted you can use the moat as a water source, you need 3 moats to do it, it may help you if you want water near you or if your town is far away from a fresh water source
Some exploits
As you can see the noria can have defenses but it works with any other building, this can be done easly as Chepulis and Mikaru noted in the comments you can build a noria and remove the moats, meaning that you can build towers to defend your shoreline (you can do this in freshwater too with piers).

An eficient way to connect two norias would be to build them back to back, but if you already have your big town behind it you can build them in these three ways
Nex to each other consumes 4 water power (two betwen each noria) allwoing to get farther away

with a water reserve in the midle this one looks pretty and consumes 5 water power, this is my interpretation of what Mikaru said in the comments, it has 45 power left
the third way is a little bit diferent you can offset them by one tile and you will have 45 power left
Water! more water!
The well and the fountain give water to your comunity, the radius given by fountains is two blocks larger, so you can replace your ugly wells with fountains and you will need a bit less to fill your town, also the big fountain has the same radius as the small one
The end
Thanks for reading the guide, i hope it helped you, dont forget to water your crops or they will look like this.

Not about the Noria itself, but the waterways can go across fields, streets, even over storages and through walls and gates. I havnt tried all buildings, but this is just what i noticed while playing the game.
Great guide!

mikaru i think i understood what you said, and i added it, did i get it right?

Chepulis thanks for the comment i have added a new section with a cursed noria

After using three moats, you can delete two of them, clearing space for new buildings. The Noria will keep on working. Works with building piers on natural water too.

i'd like to add once you've built the Noria with 3 freshwater/moats spots, you can build piers or destroy the moats to build structures such as walls.
You can also build Noria one after the other as long as the wheels are at least 3 spaces apart from another one, Meaning you can make a straight line with only 1 aquaduct in between them, making the loss each Noria in the line only 1 each.

it's also possible to build the noria in a mote, so you don't have to make a long and expensive waterway
