Important

You need to subscribe to the "Age of Heroes Database" modpack and put it at the highest priority in the mod manager! This is absolutely necessary because that modpack contains all the data files! This mod is compatible with the latest version 2.8.5!
This mod is not compatible with other mods. To play it, I suggest you to disable other mods
I made these heroes playable in Random Map games for every culture, you can train them in a new building called "Temple of Tides". They are expensive in gold and favor but are quite strong once you have them on your side.

This mod adds 8 main heroes from Heroes of the Storm and they have new:

  • Diablo (Lord of Terror)
    (Special Attack 1 -- Fire Stomp. Diablo unleashes fire waves, dealing damage in the outwards & inwards direction. (Only works on melee units, but deals damage to everyone)
    (Special Attack 2 -- FireLightning Breath. Diablo breaths forward an electrical flame, dealing damage and sending enemies flying away. (Only works on Archers/SiegeWeapons)
    (Special Ability -- Quadruped Form. Diablo can transform into his quadrupedal stance for 40 seconds.

    Quadruped Form notes:
    1. Increased movementspeed
    2. Larger LOS
    3. More health/armor
    4. No costs/popcount
    5. 40 secs lifespan
    6. Can't attack
    7. Visible to owner only

  • Gazlowe (Boss of Ratchet)
    (Special Attack -- Deth Lazor. Gazlowe shoots a lightning beam from his laser coil that arcs between multiple enemy targets.
    (Special Ability 1 -- Robo-Goblin. Gazlowe can transform into his Robo-Goblin stance for 25 seconds.
    (Special Ability 2 -- Turret. Gazlowe can build multiple turrets, protecting him in battle.

    Gazlowe (Robo Goblin) Notes:
    1. Increased Attack Speed
    2. Increased Movement Speed
    3. Deals more Damage
    4. Deals bonus Damage
    5. Increased Armor
    6. Cost Gold/Favor
    7. 25 Secs Lifespan
    8. No Special Attack

    Turret:
    (Special Attack -- Shoots multiple fire trail projectiles.
    (Special Ability -- Upon destruction it deals AoE damage to multiple targets in range.

  • The Butcher (Flesh Carver)
    (Special Ability -- Furnace Trap. The Butcher summons a fiery furnace trap that triggers when enemies walk over it, dealing damage and trapping them for some amount of time. (Only works on Archers/SiegeWeapons, but deals damage to everyone)
    (Special Attack -- The Butcher smashes the ground with his big axe, creating a burst effect that sends a single enemy flying through the air. (Only works on melee Units/Myth-Units)

    Furnace Trap notes:
    1. Invisible to enemies
    2. Deals damage to all enemies
    3. Traps all unittypes (except Flying-units)
    4. Does not work properly on fast units

  • Probius (Curious Probe)
    (Special Ability 1 -- Photon Cannon. Probius can build multiple Photon Cannons.
    (Special Ability 2 -- Pylon. Probius can build multiple Pylon's.

    Photon Cannon:
    (Special Attack -- Shoots multiple blue fire trails.

    Pylon:
    (Special Attack -- Shoots lightning beams.

  • Chen (Legendary Brewmaster)
    (Special Attack 1 -- Storm, Earth, Fire. Chen summons his Elemental Pandarians, who will help him in battle. (Only works on Heroes/Myth-Units)
    (Special Attack 2 -- Flying Kick. Chen flying kicks towards the enemy, dealing damage to multiple targets upon arrival. (Only works on Archers/SiegeWeapons)
    (Special Attack 3 -- Keg Smash. Chen smashes his keg on the ground, destroying it, while dealing damage and knocking multiple enemies away. (Only works on Infantry/Cavalry)
    (Special Ability -- Wandering Keg. Chen transforms into a large rolling keg for 12 seconds.

    Wandering Keg notes:
    1. Deals AoE damage in radius nearby all enemies
    2. Increased Movementspeed
    3. Larger LOS
    4. Cost Gold/Wood
    5. 12 Secs Lifespan
    6. Can be attacked
    7. Can't be destroyed

  • Blaze (Veteran Firebat)
    (Special Attack -- Combustion. Once channeling ends, Blaze slams down his fist, creating a shockwave effect that sends multiple enemies flying through the air. (Only works on Infantry/Cavalry/Heroes)
    (Special Ability 1 -- Boost Attack. Blaze gives allies an attack boost.
    (Special Ability 2 -- Fire Bunker. Blaze can build a Fire Bunker.

    Fire Bunker:
    (Special Attack -- Shoots 3 fire sprays, dealing damage to multiple enemy targets.
    (Special Ability -- Blaze and some of his allies can enter the Fire Bunker for protection.

  • Kerrigan (Queen of Blades)
    (Special Ability 1 -- Ultralisk. Kerrigan can summon a huge Ultralisk for 30 seconds.
    (Special Ability 2 -- Tentacle Creepz. Kerrigan can summon Tentacle Creepz out of the ground, dealing AoE damage to multiple targets.

    Ultralisk:
    (Special Ability -- Summons multiple torrasque eggs within a small radius. The torrasque eggs are closed for 20 seconds, once they open little zergling creatures will appear.

  • Kel'Thuzad (Archlich of Naxxramas)
    (Special Ability 1 -- Shade of Naxxramas. Kel'thuzad can spawn/train a maximum of 3 shades from a small distance, who will help him in battle.
    (Special Ability 2 -- Kel'Thuzad can instantly spawn a large crystal from the ground, dealing quick and powerfull damage.
    (Special Attack -- Crystal Spikes. An area of blue crystal spikes will appear around Kel'Thuzad, sending enemy units who are in close range flailing through the air.

    Shade of Naxxramas:
    (Special Attack -- DiveBomb. Committing suicide upon attacking, dealing a big burst of damage.

Thanks. I used this method on 2 of the latest characters i released, both of them were ranged units and that's actually the main reason i use it this way (with buttons).
With melee units it's a bit different, i don't have to use the buttons, although i would be fun.

I could take a look at Blaze his Fire Bunker and Gazlowe's Turrets, and eventually i will but i'm not sure when.
If i'll work on it again, i will look at the other heroes as well.

Wow... I loved the KT mechanics of the abilities, select and clic, like the original game.

Can't do that with the other heroes? Such as the bunker's Blaze. Or with Gazlowe, select the turrets position, then his special attack can be the lightning bolt from his chest, or the dinamite, like HOTS.

I could add the garrison part, but i don't think it will make a lot of sence, since the bunker spawns only a couple of seconds before it self-destructs. Not sure if it will be usefull for units to garrison in it.

Will look at Chen's Elementals as well!

Another Idea. Like HOTS, would be great if the bunker could garrison units.

Nice work. Don't forget to add lifespan for the turrets of Gazlowe, Probius, the bunker and the monster of Kerry. I tried to make a scenario to play with them, but is hard to keep balance with spam of the abilities

Hi man thx for the response, i would like to have little regeneration to eevry hero like they do passively in hots but more suitable for aom like 3 hp per sec or 4. I thought about it cause it seems equally balanced for all cultures even if they do not have good healers or hp regeneration god skills.

Kel'Thuzad is almost ready, only need to add in his voicelines, special attack/ability and some data balance. He will not summon the undead because in HoTS he doesn't either. I think i'm gonna include his "death and decay" and/or "shadow fissure" ability. At least.. if i can get it to work in AoM.
