Missed Messages: All Endings and Achievements

A guide for all endings and achievements for Missed Messages.

Introduction

This guide should get you all of the endings and achievements for Missed Messages. There seem to be multiple ways to get most of the endings, so I'm just including the dialogue options that worked for me. Please feel free to comment if I've missed anything, messed anything up, or you have something else to add.

NOTE: Achievements unlock when you exit the game.

"Missed" Ending

Click on your laptop.
Accept the message. (Continue to hit accept on all her messages after this.)
"Send meme back."
"Working but can't focus."
"Let's see the makeup."
"You're the cutest."
"Yes."
Close your laptop.
"Why."
"Bye."
"Let time pass."
"Yes."
Click on your phone.
Click on the door.
Either open the door or call the police, your choice. If you open the door it's not particularly gory, but it's not pleasant either.

ACHIEVEMENT: missed.

"Forgive" Ending

To get this achievement, follow the same instructions as the "Missed" ending above on your second playthrough.

ACHIEVEMENT: forgive.

"Hope" Ending

Click on your laptop.
Accept the message.
"Go back to work."
Continue to click on "go back to work" until you hear voices from next door.
Click on the door. (The one facing you.)
Listen.
Go back to your laptop, and click on "go back to work" until it gets quiet behind the door.
Knock on the door.
"Hang out."
"Take a break."
"Sky."
"I feel you." Thanks, I Die A Lot.
"How are you?"
"What do you mean?"
"Things you enjoy."
"I'll help you."
"Let time pass."
Go to the bathroom by clicking on the door to the hallway.
Click on May.
"Are you really okay?"
"Hug."
Either option.

ACHIEVEMENT: hope.

Some people have reported having trouble getting this ending. Here's some info from Tiruin from the comments section that might help: "The Hope ending requires a bit of talk on the laptop--after the voices behind the door, which incidentally always seems to happen around the 2-3pm marker, go talk to May. It is important to hang out.
After talking to May, do other things until you have the note to go to the bathroom--do so, then hug her, and talk about issues there, that you will be there for her. "

"Survivor" Ending

Follow the same instructions as for the "Hope" ending above, but during the scene in the bathroom, click on "Ok" when May says she has to go. When the option to text her or ignore her pops up, click on "text".

Bordesius, unfortunately I played this game so long ago that I can't even remember if I tried that option.

What achievement would it unlock if you clicked on "ignore" instead of "text" ? I'm curious

Thanks! Also, if people have trouble getting the achievements even if you followed all the steps, just close the game and relaunch it, for some reason the achievements are delayed like that.

You can get the "Survivor" ending by going on to your laptop after talking to May instead of bathroom and then going on a date with the goth gf.

I got the survivor ending a different way. I don't remember how but I just know that I didn't get the survivor ending the way you (And probably others) got.

the music in the missed ending was horrible.
I think this game might be helpful for people considering doing it, it shows how suicide is a horrible thing.

I don't know why they wouldn't show up on Steam, unless you're not logged in or connected. When I played it the achievements didn't unlock until you closed the game, which might still be true.
