Case 1: Malice in Wonderland
After talking to Roy and receiving the matches, go upstairs and use them on the telephone. Talk to the girl who answers.

Thorough Investigation
Check Roy's alibi.

Case 2: Tome Alone
There are a few sections of books you need to interact with.

  • 2nd floor Children's section - interact with both bookshelves until the titles start to repeat.
  • 2nd floor Sci-fi and Fantasy - interact with both bookshelves until the titles start to repeat.
  • 3rd floor Hobby and DIY - interact with both bookshelves until the titles start to repeat.
  • 3rd floor reading room - interact with Raxa's books.
NOTE: After being able to see the ghosts, do NOT talk to Crowley and Yeats or you will be locked out of a book section on the 4th floor.
  • 3rd floor Hobby and DIY - interact with the right bookshelf while Gail is in the room for one book.
  • 4th floor - Click on the book cart right in front of the elevator.
  • 4th floor Horror- Read through the titles of each letter section until they start to repeat.
You can now go back to talk to Crowley and Yeats.
  • Trashy Novel - Once this is in your inventory, click on it to read it.
  • Lovecraftian Novel - Once this is in your inventory, click on it to read it.
  • 4th floor secret room - interact with the glowing book to read it.
  • 4th floor secret room - interact with both bookshelves until the titles start to repeat.
  • 1st floor - After dropping the skull through the vent, go to the librarian's desk to read her books while she isn't there.

Bookworm
Read all book titles in the library.
Case 3: Disorient Express
After progressing through to the Darkside train station, take the stairs outside. Once there, look into the sky behind you and wait for a giant creature to fly by. When it does, click on it.

Look Skyward!
Spot the Darkside Skybeast.


Head back downstairs and into the bathroom. Enter the 3rd stall to find a talking toilet. Keep interacting with it to hear it's jokes until the achievement unlocks.

Toilet Humor
Listen to all of John's gags.


Once you reach the hacking section on Raxa's computer, you need to solve it in three clicks. The solution is: bottom right, top center, bottom left.

Master Hacker
Complete the virus minigame in three steps.
Case 4: Police Farce
There are 5 sections you need to listen to the radio in your office.

  • When the case starts.
  • After catching your first Gremlin.
  • After catching the second Gremlin.
  • After catching the third Gremlin. (Do this before Dooley breaks the pot.)
  • After Dooley breaks the pot.

Brickman Super Fan
Listen to all of Brickman's radio shows. Featuring Brickman.


When you pass by the coffee maker, interact with it to get a cup of coffee. Shortly after, you will find a First Aid kit with laxatives inside. Mix the two together and give the cup to McKing.

Karma
Give laxatives to McKing.
Case 5: Loch Mess
There are 5 points you need to go to answer the phone in the rec center.

  • When you first enter the rec center.
  • After receiving the printout of the map from BETI.
  • After fixing the boat.
  • After meeting Nigel.
  • After making Barry and Larry leave.

Camp Counsellor
Take all of the Turner's calls in the Bloodwolf HQ.



After taking all 5 calls, go back to the woods and you will see a cabin with a red window you can enter. This cabin only appears after the 5th call. The achievement will unlock when you leave.

Enter the Cursed Lodge.
Case 6: Don of the Dead
After getting the kango hammer, head all the way back left to the first sewer room with the ladder. Use the hammer on the following:
(I believe these are all of them. I plan to go back and double check.)

  • The sewer grate, the ladder, Dooley, the move right arrow.
  • Enter the next room
  • The move left arrow, the sewer grate, the TV, the gator, the water.
  • Enter the next room.
  • The electric box, the clown, the paper boat.
  • Enter the next room.
  • The hole in the wall, the pipes, the construction supplies.
  • Enter the next room.
  • Finally, the last sewer grate.

Classic Dooley
Use the kango hammer on everything in the sewers before advancing.
Case 7: Buy Hard
When you see the photo booth, click on it.

BFFs
Take a photo at the photo booth.


Move over to the food court and talk to Agnes behind the counter.

Independence! Yay!
Remember neglected responsibilities.


Enter the arcade and play the second machine.

Arcade Kid
Play games in the arcade.


After defeating Krampus, go into the vent and follow these directions. (All of them are from the first screen you find yourself in.)

  • Down, right, right (Teddy Bear).
  • Right, up, left (Glowing Rat).
  • Right, right, right (Purple, the Tentacle).
  • Right, right, up, right, right, down, down, right (Tiny Houses).

Lost And Found
Fully explore the vents.
Case 9: Baits Motel
After dropping off your bags, go over to the diner and enter the kitchen. Exhaust Santa's dialogue, then exit to earn the achievement.

Don't I Know You?
Call Santa out in the diner.



After blocking off the sandstorm, talk to Jamie in the window and ask him about merchandise to get Dooley a new hat!

Make Adventure Games Again!
Get Dooley a souvenir hat.



When you enter the museum, interact with the following items:

  • Case 4 - inside your office.
  • Case 5 - inside Nigel's cave.
  • Case 6 - outside the Chinatown antique shop.
  • Case 6 - look inside the dumpster you need to push.

Dumpster Diver
Search 10 bins.
Hot Rod
  • Inspect your cop car at the start of cases 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6.
  • Inspect the two cars in the garage during case 4.
  • Inspect the black car in case 6 after driving the Darkside mobsters away.

Hot Rod
Examine 8 cars.
Light reader
Case 1 - inspect the magazine stack in the study.
Case 2 - inspect the calendar in the office.
Case 3 - inspect the newspaper stand outside the Darkside costume shop.
Case 4 - inspect the book in the construction workers hand, just past the garage.
Case 5 - inspect the top right pillow in the bunk room.
Case 6 - inspect the trash twice outside the Chinatown antique shop.

just as a comment, i went through all the steps to get the achievemnt with the father who kept calling. i was taking the call after meeting nigel and since it says to speak also after making the barry and larry leave i went outside of nigel made the reporter go away and then went to the phone then went to barry and larry but after that there was no call, so i guess you need to take the fourth call not only before barry and larry, but also before making the reporter leave:meepded:

Classic Dooley wasn't right. Just put the hammer on every interactable object for it to work. Use tab to see them all. Don't forget the arrows to go left and right.

I'm avoiding reading the rest for now, but gah I was 3 books away from Bookworm. Didn't think to check titles of the two books in investory, or to check books on Dolories desk ffs

For the "Classic Dooley" achievement I did not have any sewer grate in the second screen that I could interact with.

For the "Bookworm" achievement it's enough to revisit the case and read the books you haven't read yet. For me it only were the very first books in the Children's section that were missing.

Thanks a lot for the help! But I would like to add, for the Case #5 phone achievement, you need to come back answer the phone BEFORE taking the bigfoot photo, after meeting Nigel. The last two phone calls are after meeting Nigel but before taking the photo, then after making Barry & Larry leave.
I had the props with me already and thought I'd save myself some time doing that bit on the way back, and it actually cut me out from the achievement. :'-)

Also, same case: you must grab the sticky tape from Nigel's table first, then the ink. I forgot the tape the first time, and I got stuck unable to finish the episode entirely because the tape was gone from the table but not in my inventory by the time I remembered I needed it...

Please add a note for case 5 stating that if you assemble the hat, the game will automatically force you to the end of the case and prevent you from being able to do anything else. This means that you have to redo the entire case to get the achievements in it since they are both only accessible near the end of the case.

I've got a question, if you use the matches to check Roy's alibi, then how do you lit the lantern? I can't seem to do both things in the same playthrough
