The C.O.G. __vs__ the First Order
От J.S.T.- Luigi
_____Hello everyone well here it is, the guide on the specifications on the two types of the Sci-Fi soldiers: the C.O.G. Soldiers from the Coalition of Ordered Governments in Gears of War, and the F.O.Troopers from the First Order in Stars Wars 3rd era. this guide will analyse the standard soldiers of the two factions from the two different universes they're from and the standard issued firearms they use as well. The one question that leads us to debate: who will win? Well I'll explain to what I know from what I've gathered from various sites including Wikipedia pages, lore forums, etc. on the Gears of War and Star Wars lore on the weaponry and the body armor materials the two faction's soldiers use. So let's get started. :D

Oh by the way this is actually just the description extension for my collection here:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1547401424

I found out couldn't type much onto the collection's description I was limited on how much I could write, so here I am making another story-telling-like guide. This will entertain you I promise, well.....hopefully...

Some Info. On The Factions And Scenario Setup:

The "four brothers" firing away at "her" and F.O.Troopers at the assault on the Star-Killer Base.

Faction Information:

The Coalition of Ordered Governments:
The C.O.G. come from another distant human inhabited planet known as "Sera", it's sort of like Earth, just different landmass obviously, and technology is different in terms of like civilization architecture style, resources, etc. Okay so it's not really like Earth but the one reason why I say that is because they swear like sailors just like Earth's humans do they have like cars, computers, plants, languages, writings, like Earth's humans do. Oh I forgot to mention that they also have like these big steroid-reptilian-humanoid-homicidal monsters underground deep in the Sera's crust and if you were to ever see one you'll most likely end up ****ing your pants. ^_^ Okay back on track I had to throw a little bit of humor there, so the C.O.G. is an alliance of multiple nations/governments (hence the name of their faction) kind of like the United Nations of Earth for that example. They're one of the biggest factions to ever exist on Sera, their purpose is protect and serve all those who live or agree with C.O.G.'s ideals or cope with their government. They're also the largest world wide global power almost consisting all of the nations on the planet Sera.

The First Order:
Aw yes the First Order, okay where to start with them. The First Order is a galactic super power that have derived from the Galactic Empire sometime after it fell, since then they formed improved with their weaponry, tactics, technology, architecture and etc. They still share the imperialistic assertive ideals as the Galactic Empire did, any that oppose their rule of power will be annihilated with very little to no remorse. Planets/governments/civilizations that agree to cope or live with their empire's rule of power will serve in their military to increase their numbers. The First Order has the largest faction in their galaxy, their one priority, one objective, one purpose is to take control of the entire galaxy they are in and destroy anyone that oppose them at all. They strike with large scale force using sheer numbers and insanely superior firepower to outgun and out number their foes with little to no resistance. They will stop at nothing to take full galactic control on ground, sea, air, and space across the stars.

Scenario Setup:

Alternating Story Setup:
Alright so let's setup the battle scenario, let's tweak up situations so the the C.O.G. and the First Order go up against each other.

C.O.G. of Sera:
  • The Locust never come up to the surface. *Therefore the Locust War never happens so this gives the C.O.G. a chance to rebuild their forces from the Pendulum Wars*
  • Time fast forwards to 15 years after the C.O.G. wins the Pendulum Wars against the U.I.R.
  • Peacetime prospers on Sera, no huge major wars happen. *Only very few very small insurgencies happen in those 15 years*

The First Order:
  • The First Order wipes out the rebellion and the Jedi scheme falls. *this gives the F.O. the chance to gain full galactic power*
  • The galaxy is under full control and rule of the First Order 20 years by the time meanwhile Sera's Pendulum Wars end and their 15 years of world peace begins. *This gives time for the First Order to rebuild their forces from fighting the Jedi and the rebellion*
  • The Star Killer Base's solar cannon of death will not be used. *This gives the opportunity for these two factions to actually go toe-to-toe against each other on the battlefield*

Post War - Descendence Day:
  • The First Order invent a much faster space travel to go outside of their galaxy to conquer other galaxies and ends up finding Sera.
  • C.O.G. Command gets reports of space ship sightings of outer space from the planet's atmosphere.
  • First Order comes down into the Sera's atmosphere, comes across a city.
  • C.O.G. citizens and the regional governments are warned to abandon their ideals and or suffer the consequences of the First Order. *I'm just making this short and simple cause I'm trying to get to the main point of them fighting.*
  • Regional C.O.G. governments of that city reports the First Order's arrival and of their reason for coming.
  • C.O.G. Command and the main government have meeting conference with the command of the First Order refusing to abandon their way of life and government. *First Order get's "salty". lol*
  • First Order space fleet surrounds the planet Sera.
  • Forces comes back down to Sera and attacks a city, C.O.G. Command is immediately informed of the attack, C.O.G. forces are dispatched to the first city is being invaded.
  • Descendence Day is commenced, C.O.G. and First Order forces now face off at their first battle.
  • *The War Begins*

Okay now that I finally got all of this out of the way now I can actually go over their weapons, armor, training, specifications and how would the infantry units of these to factions do going toe-to-toe against each other in an all out planetside warfare.

Biography:
Or you can also just refer to them as "C.O.G. Soldier" or "Gear", the term "Gear" comes from the literal term of a working cog gear in a machine which is what the C.O.G. is resembled to as, the ultimate Machine that operates with the help of the many Gears in service of the World-Wide Government in protecting and serving it's people and their way of life. A COG Gear is mostly termed for an Infantryman wearing the full standard issued body armor and equipment in the branch the Gear is serving in of the armed forces. C.O.G. Soldiers are good trained, strong willed and are determined soldiers, they advance in squads of 4 Gears, 6 soldiers if they find any other Gears that have no squads of their own.

C.O.G. Soldier's Standard Issued Primary Weapon - (* Mark-2 Lancer Assault Rifle *):

Information:
The C.O.G.'s armed forces standard issue for their primary firearm in combat, the Mk-2 Lancer is a remodel-redesign of the Mark-1 Lancer. Unlike the Mk-1 Lancer made with a bayonet on the end of it, the Mk-2 model is re-engineered with a completely different but somewhat still similar body design and made with a Chainsaw on the end of it mainly used for utility purposes. It has fairly low recoil, making the Mk-2 Lancer very accurate and being able to use it for long ranged combat. It uses a blue glowing holographic Iron sights for more tactical & accurate targeting.

All four of the Carmine brothers from youngest to oldest left ---> to ---> right.

Standard C.O.G. Soldier Armor:

Material & Durability Information:
___The Materials the C.O.G. body and helmet armor are made out of is (*Osmium*) which is the densest stable element on the planet of Sera. Osmium is just about twice the density of lead and a little bit denser than iridium, it's also very light making it able for Gears to wear it without weighing down the wearer. Then the fiber that reinforces the Osmium metal C.O.G. Armor underneath is (*Polyethiene*) fiber which is used to make lighter and stronger, non-woven material for use in bulletproof vests along-side the traditional Kevlar.

___The strength of the C.O.G. armor It's like Kevlar but lighter and a lot stronger and it can actually hold off bullets unlike Kevlar. The armor can hold off caliber rounds up to 10-11mm bullets without the wearer being dangerously injured from bullet impact and will only give mild to normal bruises. Now however around 12mm to 13mm bullets, those caliber rounds will start putting bad cave-in dents on the armor and will start cracking-breaking the wearer's bones & getting injured. 14mm & higher caliber rounds will puncture the armor and kill the wearer.

Extra Information:
__On the other hand there are stronger types of C.O.G. armor as oppose to the standard blue GOG Gear body & helmet armor, there's thicker and black colored armor that the special GOG Onyx Guard Gears wear. Providing better bullet protection but it's not much better however, it only holds off rounds up to 14mm bullets which is still amazing against hostiles using regular lead-bullet guns. Blaster guns are a whole different level and type of threat against the Osmium+Polyethiene C.O.G. armor in terms for protection against shots, I'll get into that topic in the next section.

Bio, Weapons, Armor, Info. & Specs. - F.O. Trooper:

~Common / standard~ First Order Stormtroopers of the First Order military.

F.O. Trooper:

Biography:
Also known as: "First Order Stormtrooper", "Stormtrooper" and "First Order Trooper" with "F.O. Trooper" being the shortest term for them. They are very loyal to their supreme leaders, officers, and anyone else of their higher ranks in First Order's military. A First Order Trooper is trained from the time when they are taken from their families as babies to be trained, indoctrinated and taught to be loyal soldiers of the First Order remembering nothing of their families. The one or a few things to know as a Stormtrooper of the F.O. are following orders from their higher ranks with no question, annihilate anyone that resists or are against the First Order and are very resilient soldiers. They'll advance in squads of roughly 4 to 8 F.O. Troopers depending on the situations or circumstances of their missions, usually always having at least a Sergeant in a squad at all times if there's no squad leader preside over a squad.

Political, Physical and Appearance Information:
  • Standard Issued Weapons:
    - F-11 D Blaster Rifle.
  • Equipment:
    - First Order Body + Helmet Armor.
    - Communications + Hostile/Friendly Targeting HUD Helmet System.
  • Affiliation:
    - First Order.
    - First Order Military.
  • Uniform Color:
    - Colors vary depending on the units/division they're from.
    - Standard Uniform Color's are Black and White.

F.O. Trooper's Standard Issued Primary Weapon - (* F-11 D Blaster Rifle *):

Information:
The one and only primary firearm the First Order Troopers use in firefights, the F-11 D Blaster Rifle is a remodel-rework of the Galactic Empire Stormtrooper's Blaster, the E-11 Blaster Rifle. Unlike the E-11 Blaster, the F-11 D model has more tactical features added to it such as an "adjustable J19 electroscope with an eight-power magnification and low-light capability" (quoted from the Wikipedia page). The F-11 D Blaster Rifle also has a collapsible fore-grip and a power feed system with it, with unlike the G.E.'s Blaster model didn't have most of these features as oppose to the F-11 D Blaster Rifle does. It also has very little recoil making it very accurate to fire from over a mile away unless like the movies they make the Stormtroopers not being able to hit the broad side of a barn from not even 10 feet away making the weapon and the shooter that has good training very problematic to go up against in combat.

Product, Technical and Usage Specifications:
  • Manufacturers:
    - Sonn-Blas Corporation
  • Magazine Size:
    - Somewhere over 40 rounds.
  • Maximum Ammunition F.O. Troopers can carry:
    - This is unknown, but enough for running low on ammo to not be an issue.
  • Ammo Type - Caliber Size:
    - Raygun Plasma Rounds.
  • Fire Mode:
    - Slow Automatic.
  • Rate of Fire:
    - 341 Rounds Per Minute.
  • Operation:
    - "XCiter" Powered.
  • Affiliation:
    - First Order.
    - First Order Military.

Uuuuum.......try not to mind the misspelling on "Captain"....Well anyways........
Captain Phasma & standard First Order Troopers wiping out C.O.G. troops

Standard First Order Armor:

Material & Durability Information:
___The materials the F.O. Trooper body and helmet armor are made out of is a material that is called "Plastoid" which is as light as plastic and roughly about 2-3 times stronger than 12 inches of Titanium. It also is layered underneath with an Anti-Blaster Plastoid composite for a stronger, more durable and still very light armor. Underneath finally is a black body glove suit so the wearer is able to survive in space and in any toxic, hazardous or harsh climate.

___The durability or strength of the First Order armor It's basically strong enough to the point where not even Wookies are able to crush or break First Order body armor. The armor can hold off caliber rounds up to 13mm bullets without the armor being pierced by bullet impact and will only knock the wearer back. Now however regular Stormtrooper armor doesn't hold off Blaster (* raygun plasma *) rounds mainly do just how powerful Blaster guns are, Plastoid is originally only made for dispersing plasma impact (* only slightly softening the hit *) which mostly breaks the armor still likely to killing the wearer. With the common lead-bullet guns on the other hand, firearms anywhere lower than 13mm sized rounds will not puncture the Plastoid armor.

Extra Information:
___Despite regular Grunt F.O. Trooper armor, the specialized dark-gray chrome colored Plastoid armor that other very high ranked F.O. Troopers like Captain Phasma's armor for example, can hold off Blaster shots without being scratched. On that case with special high-grade Plastoid armor with not being penetrated by Blaster rounds leaving in this case regular lead-bullet rounds of not even 25mm sized bullets not puncturing the armor most likely. However bullet rounds that huge will knock the wearer on their back. On an extra note for lead-bullet guns of the only vulnerable areas on Stormtroopers are all of the black areas of the uniform.

Conclusion & Extra Unimportant Info:
So the
Screenshot showcase of the first scene coming sometime in the future featuring the all four of the Carmines and Captain Phasma.

Benjamin and Anthony Carmine.

Conclusion:
Well everyone from the help of all various sites such as Wikipedia pages, Quora pages, etc. on Gears of War and Star Wars gathering information, and also going in G.Mod itself to measure bullet sizes as well. I come to put put together this concept of the two military forces from two different universes to face off each other on the battlefield, I'll release the scene as soon as I can, if I don't have it released by May 19, 2019 then I'll release the scene as a BETA scene. Now to go more in depth with more higher-trained soldiers, vehicles, aircraft....I'd rather just have you guys search that all up yourselves, I just wanted to cover up the standard C.O.G. & F.O. soldiers in this guide. So the question comes now for you to ask yourself:

Who do you think will win in an all out planetside warfare, the G.O.G. Military, or the Firs Order military? Feel free to discuss in the comments below, of if you just have anything to say or ask too.

Well I hope you all enjoyed my legit and slightly humorous Ragdoll Battle Scene Guide, have a great day everyone. :)

Unimportant - Off Topic Information:

Standard United States Army Infantrymen. Uh......Don't mind Bobby by the way....

The U.S. Army vs the First Order:
___I have a friend that actually suggested I should do the U.S. Army versing the First Order lol, so here it is. Well to my friend on this topic.........they'd have to use heavy caliber machine guns, sniper rifles, explosives, tanks, etc. the U.S. Army would have to use everything else on the First Order. Firearms like the M-4s, and the M2-49 SAW.....those are only 5.56mm rounds... which in the sci-fi world Plastoid will off rounds up to 49mm rounds. Basically just any of our planet's forces would have to use "BIG firepower" on them otherwise no Earth soldier will be able to kill a Stormtrooper with a firearm below 49mm rounds unless you're Bobby.... you aim for the black open parts where there's exposure and no armor is at. Not only that but the U.S. Army would get overrun just because of the insanely sheer numbers the First Order has, so to answer my friend's suggestion. Even though the U.S. Army has powerful vehicles and heavy weapons, it's still just one Branch of the U.S. military fighting an entire galactic scaled alien military. The U.S. Army would for sure take out F.O. troops no doubt but they wouldn't last too long against the entire First Order military.
