It should be noted however, I'm going strictly off the game as abalanced, (ie; the 4 Hunter decks against Fatalis). If you're using WoWTCG decks built to destroy raid bosses, yes, absolutely, it will be very very easy. It's intended to have the 4 hunter decks face off against him.
That's correct, but I don't see how it would be possible to inflict 65 damage to Fatalis before he gets 6 resources. That's turn 6, and he has a lot of cheap monster cards with powerful removal tools and a boatload of health. If the party just focus-fires Fatalis the whole time, his monsters are going to bowl over them fairly quickly.
As the Fatalis player, you should play to win! Rush all the monsters at a single player, and they'll start focusing on defense, protection, and proper removal of the monsters.
Cards like "Feeding Time" also serve as excellent damage, removal, and healing. If Fatalis can bait out an interrupt, and then play "Feeding Time" on a 5-cost card, he can easily heal for 20 Health with a single card.
Hey, glad you liked it! Sometimes Fatalis can go down pretty quick if the hunter decks really get going. His win rate from our playtesting was around 40% or so, so the balance is certainly in the Hunters' favor. As far as his Health difference, when Fatalis enters his enraged state, he puts more of his power into offense, rather than defense.
Because of the soft enrage mechanic, we felt it was fair to give the Hunters a little freebie by having his health lowered a bit when he enrages. The Tower means he gains attack every turn, and inflicts that damage to all players turn after turn.
Once again, glad you enjoyed it! Looking to perhaps come back to this with some rules tweaks and adjustments in the future.
I sincerely hope people enjoyed the content that's here though. Thanks for your comments!
It's on my radar!
