"I'm a huge fan of Terraria and have finally broken down and made fan art from it. I chose Eater of Worlds since it is my favorite boss, and is the first one to provide a real challenge for me. I also have noticed that there isn't as much fan art out for him as other bosses.

I wanted to incorporate several gameplay elements into the creature's design. Since the underbelly isn't visible on the in-game sprite, I used the belly to add the shadow scales and demonite ore that the boss drops. I also added details to show that it is made up of dozens of interlocking Eater type enemies, rather than having it being one giant worm boss.

I also made sure to avoid making it appear to diverge too far from the game's normal art style. I gave the background a watercolor look and avoid making the Eater of Worlds too realistic. I hope you all enjoy it!
