Description
Uses basic balanced chemical equations to create the products for TKOM. All resources are in Martian soil, rocks, and atmosphere at the correct percentages of resource extraction. Well our innovative company is able to increase output by a factor of 100 more or less relative in proportion to real Martian resources according to the rover experiments and satellite spectrum imagery.

Iron is now an Iron Alloy called Elinvar, and is named back to Iron for Mod use.

Small refinery has a 30% reduction in Iron used. Nickel added.

Large refinery has a 50% reduction of Iron used. Nickel, Aluminum, and Carbon Fiber.

Mars uses the above building convention. On Europa, due to excessively colder temperatures, a new technology was developed: Ceramic ! This product simulates back to Iron and Aluminum for Mod use.

Products such as glue, plastic, fiber are produced using basic organic chemistry data but most of which are combined processes, and total number of elements are added into the refinery inputs. There are too many organic compounds to enter in to the mix so I had to opt for some ease of SIM-Play.

Production of the Iron Alloy, Batteries, and Chemical Growing Beds, are somewhat complex but realistic using new real technology for Carbon Dioxide use, Water and Food production, etc. all recyclable back into what I call the Chemical Growing beds. There should be good enough positive feedback loops in these beds (Large Refineries) to survive on Mars.

The basic chemical elements of Nitrogen and Hydrogen are nonexistent on Mars, and are grown !

A so-called bacteria called Archaea is used for waste processing. It is assumed that they can be cultured as Brine to be fed back into the system; they are very prolific !

Plankton now grow Iron and Saltwater at a very slow rate !

Because I am at the limit of the number of different resources I can use (125ish !), I added Silicate to Plankton to produce Silicon Dioxide. Diatoms were supposed to do this; no room !

Requirements to survive:

1) A Poptent
2) A Commode (Provided As A Convenience ! Remember To Use It !)
3) 2 Supply Drops

Mod compatible as standalone, but you need at least a tent, commode, and 2 supply drops.

I updated a few Mods to work with mine to avoid having to reconvert the following elements/compounds:

Aluminium and Sodium Oxide to Aluminum and Sodium Dioxide (the correct one!).

Time settings of 1:12 and 1:24 have been tested, as well as Multiplayer ! Time 1:12 seems to work nice !

Figure out what you need, then work backwards through the processes to get the resources !

This Mod is compatible with any scenario ! Just add the supply drops, tent, and commode. However to make it easy you need a Descent Lander, as well as 60 days of Food and Water packs. To make it even easier, I have worked extensively on a Scenario called "Destination Mars" just for this Mod ! The Europa and Moon scenarios are almost done as well !

I will be working on Europa and Moon scenarios this week.

Problems:

MAIN: Game Crashes after second save. Solution: Play for 20-25 minutes, SAVE game. RESTART TKOM COMPLETELY. Reload gamesave and play from there ! Sorry for this my resource mod here is not large but may be using up alot of memory; have not found a solution

1) The idea was to be able to build the RAD panels ASAP ... not gonna happen unless some are dropped, maybe in Europa ... there is a way to escape the RADS without them.

2) I made it through the first phase using NO Emergency Resources ! Need 30 O2 Bottles and not have the 2 Supply Tanks miles away ! My scenario was perfect. It can be done, will test your patience, and stress you a little ! Luvin It !

3) Game crashes ... Yep and they arent friendly. Have to save every 15 minutes and if you are lucky to get a second game save in, RESTART the SIM ! This mod may be a little bit memory hungry and the scenario is running out of memory. I may lose a few chemicals and processes to help with this; call it a toned-down version.

4) Once problems are ironed out as much as can be, I will move these notes.

May 5 , 2019: Major Mod Update ! Enjoy ! (Hopefully Last Mars Update ! Future updates only affect Moon and Europa.

May 5 Problem: Cannot make Small Power Unit for Printer. Fixed. Temp Sol: Spawn a Small Printer Power Unit in DEV mode in your game save (hit ~ I think, then Fly mode, then 'space' enter Editor to spawn the unit). Reload scenario in normal mode !

May 13 Update: Losing resources over the next few days best not to use this Mod til I am done. Should be done by Friday May 17. Scenario still playable: Remove "CalciumSulphate" line in Scenario ! Load game, dont play it, move around a bit, save it; restart game; reload and should be good to go !

May 14 Update: May be updated by Friday and you have to deal with the gameplay issue; at least it works !

yeah, it took me some time to figure it out. i had to use the methane and oxygen on my rover to get the chems i needed to crack mars soil and rock. which needed sodium hydroxide.

I dont know exactly where Mars Rock comes in as I cnnot see it in the Mod ... MarsSoil to MarsSoil maybe ... again this is to refill for one full container to make empties.

I am looking for the solution. In general when you see this operation it is normal ... what it does is fills one or more containers of the same element into one canister ! I have tried to provide most of the common ones used to fill canisters. Canisters are rare in the beginning and need to be refilled and sorted. In the beginning it is a canister mess believe me !

i think this mod is broken. i'm trying to use the refinery to refine mars rock. but its not doing its job. the process showing on the panel is 1x mars rock = 1x mars rock.
