Amnesia: Justine - How to Save Everyone (Completed - 1/16/2014)

Be the hero. Save Everyone.

Intro

In this guide, I will show you how to become the hero of Amneisa: Justine. This isn't going to be a full walk through so there shouldn't be any spoilers. If there are, I'll be sure to mark them.

Here we go....

A few of the sections were done on my laptop back in the day so the images may be a bit dark. Hopefully the rest are not like this :/

Part 1 - The Dungeon

First you are going to want to get all the barrels and boxes that are laying around the area.

A little trick before you start building
Stagger boxes and barrels like in the image below allows you to get higher up without having to stack to many things on top of each other.

Anyway, onto building
Then build something like this to get up on the ledge that will be immediately to your left when you first enter the room. (I think I may have made it more complicated than I needed to but you get the idea of what you need to do)

After you get up there you are going to want to throw down all the boxes that you can. You are going to need them for the next part. There is also a Wax Cylinder up there that you are going to want to grab before you jump down. It's on the side of the big dumpster looking box. (I'll get a picture of this when I run through that part again.)

Next, you are going to want to build another pile of boxes to reach the trap door that is up on the ceiling.

Something like this. (Again, probably over did it.)

Now, go into your inventory and equip the ladder (you should have found this before you got into the dungeon) and use it on the trap door.

Go up the ladder and exit the area. That's pretty much it for this guy, not really much else to do besides use the Wax Cylinder on one of the phonographs that you will run into on your way to the next area.

Part 2 - The Library

After you get through the dungeon and the little bit that follows, you will come to the library.

Collect all of the four slides that are scattered through out the four rooms. Also grab all the notes and that kind of stuff if you want to figure it out on your own. But you probably tried that already so that's why you're here.

Once you have all the slides, you can view them in the light box if you want. But save yourself a tinder box and just skip the whole light box part.

Are the ones that you are going to want.

Go back to the room that has the guy behind the wall in it. (It's the 2nd one on the right if you were looking at the room as if you had just gotten into the library.)

Put the slides in the 2 slots in the order shown below, then pull the lever down.

That's it! In the room across the hall there will be a bookcase that is open for you.

Go through it and you are on to the next area :)

Part 3 - Dungeon

After you get through the libray and get to the Dungeon, you will eventually find this guy...
All you have to do to save him is close the door before you leave the area. Better make it quick though ;)

Well, that's it. Looks like you saved everyone.

Title says it all, you have offically saved everyone. Yay!!!

the first note says she choses the one where they both face the same way and it says dont pick the sword, since slide one and two are facing the same way and two is the sword then its three and four.

the slide puzzle really is confusing, the only clue thats applicable to choosing the right slides is justine on the phonograph saying something like 'Is the man begging for mercy or is he being blessed?'

1st - Don't pull the trigger.
2nd - Insert up 3, down 3.
3rd - spin the wheel to close cell to the right in the second chamber while the monster chases you.

I dont understand the solution for the slide puzzle. In the notes it said the father was angry she choose slides facing the same way, so I was trying combos of slides facing opposite ways. Also how do you figure which one goes on top or bottom?
