Translate with XUnity.AutoTranslator

A temporary fix for those of us who wish to play the game in another language while waiting for the official translation. I have only tested this with English but should work with other languages as well.

How to do this

First of all I would like to shoutout Bepis[github.com] for making this patcher.

Go to https://github.com/bbepis/XUnity.AutoTranslator/releases and download XUnity.AutoTranslator-ReiPatcher-(version #).zip

Extract SetupReiPatcherAndAutoTranslator.exe to the main Corridor of time folder. You can find this folder by right clicking the game in your library, left clicking properties/local files/browse local files.

After that just run that exe and let it do its thing.

Then click the newly created timec (Patch and Run).exe and let it do it's thing. The game should startup. By default it translates from Japanese. So exit the game and change the configuration.

Go to the newly created AutoTranslator folder in the Corridor of time folder and open the config.ini

Under [General ] change FromLanguage=jp to FromLanguage=zh-CN and save.

Then delete the translation file that was created. It is located in Corridor of time\AutoTranslator\Translation. _AutoGeneratedTranslations.en.txt

After that you can run the game normally and the text will begin to translate as it is displayed. Some text takes a while to translate. Some is translated incorrectly. Some doesn't translate at all. But it is better than nothing.

If you need to translate into another language use the language codes located here[sites.google.com].

I just tried it and can confirm that it actually worked. I simply deleted that file and ran the patch and run version and it fixed the english translations up (should probably edit the guide to include this newfound info). thank you.

I am not sure. You may have to delete the file that has the already translated text so it can populate new text. It is located in Corridor of time\AutoTranslator\Translation. _AutoGeneratedTranslations.en.txt

I got the autotranslator to kinda of work, I but I don't think text is translating properly for me. it certainly does not match the sample screenshots shown here. I did forget the final step to change the text in the config.ini file, but even after making the changes you recommended it didn't seem to change anything. Any ideas?

Are you sure you are putting it in the right folder?
