Invincibility Glitch - how to take on most of the bosses with minimal effort

This guide will teach you how to set up the "dummies + slime mount" invincibility glitch. It doesn't work on some bosses and enemies(most notably Moon Lord and some Solar Eclipse enemies) and is not an intended way to play the game so please consider using it as a final straw, since it ruins a lot of aspects of the game.

The setup

First of all make 2 target dummies. Those are made in the sawmill using hay and wood. You'll also need the slime mount, which drops from the slime king. Be sure to have a couple of solid blocks as well.

Next find a flat empty space, at least 4 blocks wide, 8 blocks tall.



Make a little 8 block tall tower out of the solid blocks. It should look something like this.



Next, mine all of the blocks except the top(8th) one. Place the target dummies beneath it, mount the slime and jump on them. If everything works correctly, you'll be jumping endlessly and seeing a bunch of numbers.



Good job! You're basically invincible! Now go and take on some bosses! Try not to shoot into the dummies though, the damage might make you fall off them so consider shooting either sideways or using a melee weapon.
