Installing Paint.net

You need a painting program like Paint.net.
DOWNLOAD LINK : http://www.getpaint.net/

It might work with other paint software but I will show you how to make a spray with Paint.net



Btw tag = Spray

IF YOU WANT A TRANSPARENT SPRAY THIS IS NOT A TUTORIAL FOR YOU

Using Paint.Net

Click on FILE And then NEW And make it 256x256 PIXELS
MAKE SURE IT SAYS :PIXELS
Then click on OK., A new fresh 256x256 page should appear.

Making your Spray Step.1

Now you can paint whatever you want.

If you don't want an image as CSS spray IGNORE STEP 2,3 and 4.

Download the image that you want as Spray make sure has +/- the shape of a square
then drag your downloaded Image to paint.net

Now this should appear
Click on OPEN

Now your image appears but Its way too big so you will need to resize it to 256x256 PIXELS
again.
(CLICK ON THE IMAGES TO MAKE IT BIGGER)
click --->Image --->Resize
Then This should appear:Make it 256x256PIXELS
if your image doesn't resize correctly and doesn't stay on 256x256Pixels its probably because you selected maintain aspect ratio you don't want to maintain aspect ratio

your image should be smaller now.

Your spray is almost done click on --->FILE--->Save as


















JPG BMP TGA VTF are the allowed formats for a spray, you want to use one of them.
I will use Tga for example.



Once that's done you will have to choose your bit depth
, use 24-bit and click OK

HOW to import your Spray to CSS

go to C:\programFiles\Steam\steamapps\
And create a folder and name it : "Counterstrike Sprays" (you can choose a name)

Now, copy and paste the tag you saved on your desktop to the folder (CounterstrikeSprays)

Now Its almost done ,

The final Step : selecting your spray

Launch Counterstrike Source and go to options

Then go to multiplayer

The tag you currently are using should appear (not the one you just made)

Now to select your new tag go to : import spray ...

Your New folder should appear in C:\Program Files(x86\Steam\SteamApps\

Open the folder : Counterstrike Sprays And there is your tag :-)
Click on it and Then click on OPEN

Your Spray should appear.
Click on apply And Its done.

If u dont have a steam folder you don't have steam installed, cmon I knew how to find this folder 10 years ago when I was 14, it is where u installed it, by default; program files (x86) If it's not there do right click on Steam icon -> properties -> open file location
