Postgame bonus content / Resistance / New email notification

Find out what to do with that email notification on the main menu after finishing the game.

You've got mail.

Start a new save for Episode 1, and play to level 4, where you have completed your aptitude test validation and Lya asks for your date of birth to unlock your files. Read the email from Arianne Moon (amoon.mail), and note the new gray text near the end asking you to connect to her computer.

Time Lord.

At the same level as above (Episode 1, level 4), connect to Arianne Moon's computer with the command ssh ariannemoon. Run any command and an error message with result.

You should not convert any hexadecimal number in the message into an Unix timestamp. Instead, simply set the date on your computer to that shown at the end of the very first line, 221188, or November 22, 1988. Note: You may need to use the Windows command line to do this. Run cmd as an administrator, and use the DATE command.

Now run command "generate". No need to restart the game.

Kanomi code

What is output is a puzzle, as follows:

Find the secret number and insert it into this URL: mucomplex.com/validate/<number>/access.txt

Each second, the screen outputs a 3-part number string corresponding to that second. The secret number is that corresponding to 00:00:00 on October 11, 2014.

The number follows a pattern: the first part increases by 8 each second, the second part by 7, and the third part by 3. From this pattern and any time and number shown in the game, you should be able to figure the secret number.

Notes:

• Only keep the last 7 digits of the first part, the last 5 of the second, and the last 4 of the third.
  
• Once you have a starting time and number, you can set your system clock back and quit Episode 1.

You should get 5893647679456912 as the secret number. The text at http://mucomplex.com/validate/5893647679456912/access.txt tells you the following:

"When solving Yacine's puzzle, turn on only the leftmost lamp, and type 'unlock'."

So go to Episode 2 and find Yacine's computer. You will need to start a new save, as your old save is stuck in the mainframe (Lya will not allow you to leave once you collect all four tools and return to the mainframe). Yacine's computer is always the fourth and last branch-end computer you can access; therefore you have to complete the first 2 computers of each of the four branches to unlock access to Yacine's computer.

Solve the puzzle as told: turn around, walk to the far left, and light the light. You will need to use the functions to fit all the commands in. Once that's done, run command "unlock", and you will be given the following key sequences: up up enter down down enter m u enter.

Resistance.

Go back to the main menu and press the following keys in order: Up, Up, Enter, Down, Down, Enter, M, U, Enter. The screen should flash each time you press Enter. Completing this key sequence reveals the bonus content.
