A YouTube series geared towards helping new pilots learn how to fly the Su-25T included for free with DCS: World. While all videos will be embedded here in Steam, I encourage you to watch them on YouTube and subscribe to my channel for the latest updates on this video series. Most of your common questions will likely be answered in the YouTube comments already. Enjoy!

This is a great reference to use, while learning how to fly the Su-25T, via Eagle Dynamics forums:

Prologue / How to Load a Practice Mission
Part 1 of 10 / Engine Startup, Payload Management, Taxi to Runway
It has been brought to my attention, that in Parts 1, 2 and 3 I am incorrectly referring to the airspeed of the Su-25T in "meters per second" when it should be "kilometers per hour". Don't really know how that happened (and multiple times, at that!), but it IS wrong.

The airspeed in the Su-25T is indicated in kilometers per hour on the analog gauges as well as on the HUD. Sorry for the misinformation!

Part 2 of 10 / Takeoff and Basic Maneuvers

Forgot to mention in the video the default trim controls:

Trim Nose down: Ctrl + ; Trim Nose up: Ctrl + . Trim Bank left: Ctrl + , Trim Bank right: Ctrl + /

Note: Hold your Ctrl key and tap the other key

Ctrl + ;

means hold the Ctrl key and tap the Semi-Colon key.
It may take more than one press of the trim keys to make a noticable effect in your plane's attitude.
Part 3 of 10 / Navigation Modes and Autopilot
Part 4 of 10 / Landing, Shutdown, Repair/Rearming
Part 5 of 10 / Countermeasure Systems

This video's audio levels have been fixed as of Sept 13 2013 @ 15:00 EST.
For the practice mission that I use in these tutorials, visit http://www.reddit.com/r/hoggit

Look at the links on the right hand side of the page and click the one that says "Download the Latest Version of the Training Map Here". In the Su-25T, the waypoints are as follows:

Waypoint 1: Starting Airbase
Waypoint 2: Easy Target Range
Waypoint 3: Medium Target Range
Waypoint 4: Hard Target Range

You can also just join the /r/Hoggit multiplayer server which is running this same training map most of the time and then you don't need to download anything.
Part 6 of 10 / Guns and Unguided Munitions

Sorry this took so long to put up, I was waiting on a bugfix that never came. At the end of the video I explain the missing functionality in the Su-25T, how it works, and how to use it once it has been fixed by using the Su-25.

Enjoy!
Part 7 of 10 / Employment of Laser Guided Munitions
Part 8 of 10 / Employment of TV Guided Munitions
Part 9 of 10 / Employment of SEAD Munitions
Part 10 of 10 / Employment of Air to Air Munitions

Psyrixx. Great tutorials. I just started into DCS World a couple days ago and these have been really helpful along with all the readable stuff online. Been quite a few years since I piloted a caliber of sim like this (BlackShark 1) so help like this is muchly appreciated! Cheers. . .
