Controller Support - R2/L2 Fix
By Dao Fei Xiao
A couple of days ago, I was struggling to find a fix to make my PS4 controller fully functional with the R2 and L2 buttons respectively. I finally did it, and although it might be a bit tricky, it is actually working 100%, I hope this will be of use to anyone that is in a similar situation.

Step 1 : Go to the Big Picture Mode

Just press on it once, and it will automatically start.
Step 2 : Select Library

Once you are in the Big Picture Mode, select Library in the very center.
Step 3 : Select Dragon Spear App

Hover your mouse over the game and simply just select it.
Step 4 : Choose Manage Game

Once you select the Dragon Spear, hover your mouse towards the left and select Manage Game option.
Step 5 : Controller Configuration

Choose Controller Configuration, you don't really need to mess up with anything else.
Step 6 : Gamepad Edit

By this moment, you'll more than likely know what to do here, but I'll keep explaining step by step. If you see the image carefully enough, you'll notice I have made some changes on R2/L2 buttons, I picked RCTRL (Right Control on Keyboard) and RShift (Right Shift on Keyboard).

My reasoning for this, is, the game's basic mechanic is on keyboard on Steam. And these are the initial buttons. So, I changed the triggers to the corresponding button from the keyboard, I will give more pictures below to show and explain these steps better.
Step 7 : Full Pull Action Edit to KB buttons.

Pick the R2 and L2 buttons respectively, and you'll come up with this popped up window, telling you what to change. Simply go to the Full Pull Action on the top left of that window and press on it once, it will show you a keyboard and you can put whatever button you like, but for the sake of the guide and simplicity, I'll just show the default ones from the game, which are, again, RCTRL and RShift (Right Control and Right Shift on Keyboard. Located below the Enter button.)

L2 Reference :

Step 8 : Hit Done
That's it. You pretty much did everything and now you can finally be able to use both the R2 and L2 buttons respectively in the game, by completely supporting the gamepad's buttons.

Hey, Evenstar! No problem! Yeah, I should have mentioned that this method legit works for EVERY game out there, my bad. That's how I also manage to fix Oninaki's demo and possibly the main game, too, by assigning the correct buttons and making sure everything works. I am glad my first and only actual guide was able to help you out! Cheers!

Hey thanks again man! Just wanted to give you an update: This method also works for any game I previously suffered! (Although you need to redo this method each time you decide to configure buttons but its fine hehe)
