Campaign

Estimated time to complete: 10-20 hours

Tips for campaign:

• I recommend starting with the campaign. It's basically a long tutorial mode.
  
• Buy all solar panels and wind turbines as soon as you can (you'll have to play a few hours to unlock them first). They will earn you money automatically every day. At x600 speed, you can earn up to ~16 000 € every ~2,5 minutes.
  
• Once money is no longer an issue, buy all sheds to be able to fast travel around the map quickly.

Precise sat-nav
Reach the destination you have set


Probably the first achievement you'll unlock. Place a marker on the map and move directly on it so that it disappears from the minimap.

Maybe you can fix it?
Repair a vehicle at the garage in Free Farming or Campaign mode


Unmissable, you have to do this in the beginning of the campaign.

Sunny Italy
Travel to Italy in Free Farming or Campaign mode


Coffee aroma
Travel to Colombia in Free Farming or Campaign mode

Travel to Japan in Free Farming or Campaign mode


Unmissable in the campaign.

Heavy parcel
Send a vehicle abroad


When you travel to a another country, you can bring some vehicles with you. Take at least the Mitsubishi pickup truck so that you can explore the new areas easily.

A month of new life
Spend 30 days on your farm in Free Farming or Campaign mode


Will certainly unlock without trying at some point, especially if you use x600 speed often.

Night harvest
Work on the combine between 10 pm and 5 am


Work in a harvester at night (in-game time). Unlocks immediately when you start working on a field, no need to work for the whole 7 hours.

Green energy
Earn at least €2 000 per day from green energy production in Free Farming or Campaign mode


One solar park is enough for this achievement and you have to buy one in the campaign. You should buy all of them anyway to get easy money.

Tactical garaging
Buy at least 8 sheds in Free Farming or Campaign mode


You can fast travel to sheds, so I recommend buying all of them at some point to travel around the map quickly.

White gold
Sell your first batch of rice in Free Farming or Campaign mode


You will be tasked to do some rice farming at the end of the campaign. Sell at least some of the rice to unlock this achievement.

Neighbor help
Complete all side missions in the campaign


Side missions can be a good way to make money in the beginning, or you can wait until you have better equipment to complete the missions quickly. I'm not sure what happens if you fail any side missions, so you might want to save often. There are 16 side missions, and some will only unlock after completing certain main missions or other side missions. Also, make sure you do all the side missions before finishing the last campaign mission, which is the milk delivery mission.

Free farming

Estimated time to complete: 3-5 hours

Tips for free farming:

• You can start with 5 000 000 €, so money from renewable energy is not really needed this time.
  
• Buy the all sheds again for fast traveling.

Bird’s eye view
Use the drone


Launch the drone from your tablet. You can do this during the campaign as well, but the drone is already unlocked when you start free farming mode.

Brand new
Wash a vehicle


Wash a vehicle manually in the workshop or in an automatic wash at gas stations.

Sleeping with the fishes
Sink a vehicle


Drive a vehicle into deep water. You'll have to recover it from the tablet (functionalities -> recovering vehicles) and repair it.

Healthy lifestyle
Run with your farmer for 60 seconds without any breaks


Run. Don't stop.

Empty fuel tank!
Empty the fuel tank in a vehicle


Will unlock eventually, just don't refuel and make sure that fuel consumption is set to highest, 1/1 in the gameplay options (only available in main menu).

Fast farming
Exceed 16 km/h while plowing


Some of the more powerful tractors like the JCB Fastrac can easily reach this speed while plowing.

Employer
Hire Worker in Free Farming or Campaign mode


Hire a worker for one your fields. You can't do this in campaign missions or challenges.

Farming train
Connect 3 DB8’s to a tractor


You need to have 3 Metaltech DB8 trailers connected at the same time to a single tractor as a "train". Reversing with these trailers is tricky, so it's best to move only one at a time. First park one trailer in an open area. Then reverse the second one directly in front of the first one. Finally, do the same for the last trailer and connect all 3.

Oversized cargo
Transport a vehicle on a NJ4 Wielton


I don't know if this works with any vehicle, but since it's supposed to be oversized cargo, I put
one of the DAF trucks on the trailer, drove for a few seconds and the achievement unlocked.

Precision loader
Load 6 hay bales onto the trailer


You can find bales near the grass storages. Turn them so that they don't roll away and load 6 of them to the SIPMA NP 1400 KOMBO trailer with the bale fork or grabber.

Little strongman
Use the Akpil KM180 plow with a medium tractor in Free Farming or Campaign mode


Like the description says, use the second plow with a medium tractor.

Non-stop
Work for 30 minutes without any breaks


Don't stop at all. I got this by driving in a circle with a cultivator on a field.

Beginner breeder
Breed 20 animals in Free Farming mode


Enthusiast breeder
Breed 50 animals in Free Farming mode


Champion breeder
Breed 100 animals or more in Free Farming mode


Breeding here means just buying animals. Buy rabbits or chickens to get this done quickly.

Healthy diet
Feed potatoes to the pigs or fodder to the cows


I went with the potato/pig route. Produce some potatoes, any amount. Drop them into the evaporator next to the pigsty and wait for it to turn the potatoes into prepared fodder.

Squirreling away
Gather 100 tons of grain in the silos in Free Farming mode


You can let workers do the field work and skip time from the tablet. You only have to bring the equipment to the field and transport the grain to the silo. I got enough grain from two harvests on field 31.

Reasonable farmer
Sell any material for the maximum price at the selling point in Free Farming mode


You can see the prices in the stock market in your tablet. The prices for materials will go up every day as long as you're not selling any of it. So by time you're done with other achievements, all or most prices should be at maximum and you can sell the grain from the previous achievement.

Wallet flush with cash
Collect at least €1 000 000 of your own money in Free Farming mode


If you start with a million or more, the achievement should unlock as soon as you sell something.

Tycoon
Own properties totaling at least €1 000 000 in Free Farming mode


This will unlock while buying buildings and fields for other achievements.

Globetrotter
Buy a property in each of the 4 countries in Free Farming mode


Buy anything in each country.

Apple never falls far from the tree
Buy your first apple orchard in Free Farming mode


Receive a plum, return a peach
Buy your first plum orchard in Free Farming mode


Beaujolais nouveau
Buy your first vineyard in Free Farming mode


Buy one of each orchard. Vineyards are only found in Italy.

Endless field
Buy the largest field available in the game in Free Farming or Campaign mode

Buying around 80% of the fields in Montana should be enough.

Industrial greenhouse
Buy an industrial greenhouse in Free Farming or Campaign mode


Normal greenhouses won't count, it needs to be an industrial greenhouse, which costs 250 000 €. There are two in Montana.

Machine park
Own machines totaling at least €1 000 000 in Free Farming mode


Will unlock while buying machines for other achievements.

Tractor enthusiast
Buy all medium and heavy tractor models available in game in Free Farming mode


Combine enthusiast
Buy all combine harvester models available in game in Free Farming mode

Challenges

Estimated time to complete: 5-10 hours

Farmer of all trades
Complete all challenges


This takes some time because you can't use workers. Most challenges take around 10-30 minutes to complete. You only need to complete the minimum requirements for each challenge. The optional tasks are... optional. You've already learned most of these tasks in the campaign, so you shouldn't have many problems here.

If you don't know what to do in the Milky Way challenge:
Use the mixer wagon to produce a small amount of food for at least 2 cow barns (use the bales from the grass storages). Then you just need to keep waiting. The cows should produce some milk at midnight. You can't change the speed so this is easily the longest and most boring of the challenges.
