Scribe Mod

ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ
A mod that allows you to craft all vanilla scrolls in-game. Non-invasive mod based around a fun collection of items for artificers of all sorts.

Updated the mod to include a custom crafting system. All you need to do to utilize the mod is to craft an Inking Set and Scribe's Kit at a tanning rack. Parchment will be needed, that I am keeping true to a historic method by using leather stretched to an incredible thinness (at a tanning rack). Ink is crafted using the Inking Set, to make a scroll you use the Scribe's Kit. Both are activated in-inventory and activate their own, custom crafting menus.

Scrolls found in-game can be upgraded to better versions using the appropriate inks and materials. I have also buffed existing scroll power as it's original power for being a single-use item was tremendously underpowered. This mod is excellent for players who enjoy a more vancian approach to magic or for artificers who only wish to create and maximize all three creation trees.

Should be compatible with almost everything, let me know in a PM if it's not. Obviously another scrollcraft mod would cause some issues.

@YellowJacket it is much better to do so not jsut becuase of mod file size but its also easier to organise mods there such as like me i rarly download mods from steam becuase directeries can get mixed up and corrupte or not read at all when you use a mod manager or such plus its easier to do all the files witohut steams exessive steps for instance i only have 3 or so mods from steam and around 300 or so from nexus its much easier ot see conflicts when you get it form nexus and use several mod managers while on steam...could do better and since i have my directeries diffrent locations it jsut be much easier to get it from nexus becuase more people who mod skyrim browsing enxus through steam so even if you dont maintain it its just a thing of convenience if you put i ton nexus

@Just Spencer
This is not on nexus. I have it here so I never saw a reason to upload it on nexus (unless it's just much better to do so through them)

I'll see what I can do about the soul gem cost. Originally the process was in place to avoid breaking the game by making really cheap scrolls that sell for quite a bit (when you have everything of course). There's mods out there that allow for soul gem combination of course but I'll see what can be done.

Is it just me, or is the scroll crafting not working? I have all the materials necessary, but the scrolls don't show up in the tanning rack crafting. Maybe I have an incompatible mod or something?

kind of dissapointed, i thought you could literally write (type) stuff onto a scroll like you can in minecraft, that would be good. i am very dissapointed

Was using this mod mostly just for the ability to create charcoal. I did mess around with it a bit and though the idea of writing your own spells is a novel idea, its something I dont use enough in my normal gameplay. I will keep it on my favorites though, If i decide to re-subscribe. You did a great job on the mod by the way. Only reason I'm dropping it is, well I have a LOT of mods and my games are getting fairly laggy.
