Warframe For New Players and More: Salty Biscuit Edition (9/16/2019)
Por Salty Biscuit e 2 colaborador(es)
New Player Guide that will explain everything that is useful in a gameplay perspective i.e. mechanics and feature. The reason for this guide is because DE refuse to put in-game information in the codex at least to explain what anything the game has does to confusing players that recently started the game. Now if your here for "Lore".... I don't even know how you got here when there is no Lore Catagory that i listed this guide under... so if your here pecking out details that has no gameplay value... don't you have something better to do?

This Guide can also be helpful to some "Veteran" (I doubt it though) and Returning players. And no one is expected to read everything otherwise you will go bat sh*t crazy from information overload, I only can recommend using the guide to answers any question you might have, and if you do not find the answer leave a comment and I'll try and assist and possibly also add it into the guide.

Disclaimer: This is a mechanical guide, so anything that has to do with the actual game story, may or may not be accurate, if you are interested in the game "Lore" please go elsewhere because you will not find it here.

About Me (Salty Biscuit):
IGN: luanle21 (this does not mean just add me randomly)
Grandmaster Founder (just a idiot that put money into a game that had a high risk of it flopping, thankfully it didn't), Played since U7 when it was released on steam, found the game by god bless Totalbiscuit my he rest in peace
Have over 2.5k hours, MR 26 (as of 1/21/2019. also this just mean I don't have a life)
I've helped taught at least 10 ppl, by basically lecturing em for a hour about the game mechanic cause again Dev don't explain anything despite them attempted and still are to improve "New User Experience" after 10 attempts
ps This guide will essentially saves new player around 300 hours of "wtf am I doing someone please help"
Referral Link[t.co] (I doubt anyone that reading this would even click, but just gotta try)

-Main Guide has now been Completed as of (1/23/2019) (More Section will be added later)
-Excuse the craptastic grammer since English is my second language (still better then my first being vietnamese ugh)
-The Extra Section will be filled in as I have some time and idea to throw in.
I really Hope this guide will clear stuff up for new, returning, and some current players for the game.
Also, if you wonder why I did not put in a "end game" section or even mentioned it at all, it because end game tbh is fashion frame
Feel free to leave a comment of what you think of the guide, and if i got anything mixed up, provide a link to the information source

Starting out and what I personally recommend
When you start up warframe you begin with the tutorial. Here it is important to learn the basic ideas of the game’s movement, and while the movement system is extremely important to master, the tutorial does not do enough to explain anything else. Warframe starting out is like playing a Souls game, there’s no hand holding, so if you're the type of player who's looking for a linear gameplay experience Warframe will be a absolute nightmare without some type of veteran player to help guide you through the game or a good guide.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once you completed the tutorial you end up on earth, your objective is to complete a quest chain ending with beating Captain Vor which is located at Tolstoj, Mercury. You will also be gaining "damaged mods" for the time being, towards the end of the quest you start to get normal mods as well. After that the game lets you loose to do whatever the hell you want with vague guidance towards Junctions to keep on progressing.

After playing a few mission you should be used to basic movement, try tweakinng the game setting and/or controls to fit your style the best during this time. You should start practicing the game movement system as it is the main way you get around in missions quickly. Start by practicing a bullet jump: look in a direction and while holding crouch jump at the same time.... Bam you did a bullet jump. Once you think you got the hang of it, try this movement combo: Sprint forward > Bullet Jump > double jump > slide for a bit, then repeat (feel free to adjust the order to best fit you, this has become muscle memory to most of us). Practicing and mastering the movement system will make your life many times easier in this game, additionally while you’re on the move performing these maneuvers, => DE confirmed that you get a bit of damage resistance and the enemy have reduced accuracy i.e. less chance of you getting shot at <=, so it’s best not to stand still, otherwise you WILL die.
For performing the movement combo I used toggle sprint, and hold to crouch
For you and others it may be different, but this might help if bullet jumping is proving difficult for you.

The codex provides a short tutorial simulation for the movements. You find that on Codex>Training>Advanced movement and select the tutorial to start practising. The codex also provides some basic information about what you need to know in game and some lore.

Enough with movement rants, the other bit to talk about is progression. Junction is a basic guideline for new players to unlock new planets: complete the prerequisites on the junction, once completed go to the junction to fight an enemy frame to which unlock a new planet and a list of rewards specific to each junction, keep doing this until you got all planets unlocked.

Before I forget, if you still have the 50 starting platinum, do the following, hit ESC > Equipment > Inventory > now there are a tab for Warframes and a tab for Weapon, inside of them, buy 1 warframe slot which cost 20p, and buy 2 set of weapon slot which cost 12p each x2 = 24p
You can buy the slots directly from the in-game market if you use the search bar as well as being given the option to purchase them whenever a frame or weapon is crafted and your slots are full.

That’s the general start to the game, for other info look at the other sections.

Modding Weapon/Warframes/Sentinel & Endo
Question: What is Modding in warframe?
Answer: A very basic math class, of what will get you the most potential out of something you're using.
Question: What do you mean basic math class?
Answer: Well sit tight and listen to this rant and you might learn a thing or 20.

https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Damage

Modding Basic for Weapons
There are 8 slots on a weapon, 9 for melee however the 1 extra slot is for a melee stance which will be explained down the later.
"How should I Mod my -insert weapon-?
Well it depends on the stat, there are essentially 3 main way anyone in this game mod their weapon for, it is either Crits, Status, or Hybrid (Crit + Status).
There is a 4th build method, however it is mostly forgotten cause the other 3 build type are just superior in every aspect, this 4th build is Raw Damage where a weapon have only low crit and status, but a large base damage (ex: Seer Pistol, drop parts from Captain Vor if you murder him over n over)

Mod Slot Order
(this can apply to warframes which have 10 slot, etc)
1 | 2 | 3 | 4
5 | 6 | 7 | 8

Mod Polarity
Madurai - V (Damage, Powers) - Commonly dropped by Grineer.
Vazarin - D (Defensive, Health, Armor) - Dropped by all factions.
Naramon - Dash/Bar (Utility, Misc.) - Commonly dropped by Corpus.
Zenurik - Scratch (Warframe Augments and Channeling Mods).
Unairu - R - Introduced in Update 13.0 and used for certain Melee Stance Mods.
Penjaga- Y (Companion Abilities) - Dropped by all factions.
Umbra- U (Anti-Sentient Mods) - Obtained upon completion of The Sacrifice.
(ripped from the Wiki) Using a mod like Serration which has a V polarity in a mod slot with the same symbol halves the mod cost, if its a odd number than the game will round up. You can add/change an existing polarity by using a consumable called a Forma, check the section about them for more info.

There is a few mods which are universally used in all builds, the following are:
Rifle/Sniper/Launcher: Split Chamber, Serration
Shotgun: Hell's Chamber, Point Blank
Secondaries: Barrel Diffusion, Lethal Torrent, Hornet Strike
Melee: Fury/Berserker (depend on what you going for, for me Fury is always on), Pressure Point

Now what are these mods and what do they do?
Split Chamber, Hell's Chamber, Barrel Diffusion, and Lethal Torrent all give Mulitshot: a chance of firing additional rounds; think of it as, you fire 1 ammo, but with 100% multishot, theres 2 bullet instead (effectively doubling your damage)
Serration, Point Blank, Hornet Strike, Pressure Point, these increase base damage overall
Fury and Berserker simply increases melee attack speed, Fury gives a flat increase while the mod called Berserker only gives attack speed upon a critical hit (doing melee finisher which always give u a crit does not count)

Aside from these main damage mods, there are the elementals and the ones that increases your IPS (Impact, Puncture, Slash)
Quick note on IPS mods to get them out of the way. Using a mod which increases slash damage does not increase your overall base damage of the weapon. Most weapons have their damage split between IPS i.e. if a weapon has 75 damage, 25 impact, 25 puncture, 25 slash, and 75 heat (from a mod that say gives 100% extra heat damage which scale off of your total base damage). The slash mod which (for example sake let’s say it gives +100% slash damage) an additional 25 slash damage making your total damage of 175: 25 impact, 25 puncture, 50 slash, 75 heat. To be even more clear, say you use a mod that instead of the 100% slash it just say Damage. the total damage then will be 50 impact, 50 puncture, 50 slash, 150 heat (again from the heat mod)
"Then why the ♥♥♥♥ do we have these IPS mods if it only increases a certain type of damage?"
The answer to that is, if you want to change the IPS damage ratio and it’s applicable status effects, which in the current damage system of the game Slash is superior. To learn more about Slash Damage, go to the link i provided at the top of this section. (Yes this is a quick note)
Ok now we talk about ELEMENTALS the mods you will find first are the ones which gives you 90% Heat/Cold/Toxin/Electric
Elemental mods essentially add even damage to your weapon based on all basic and overall damage already added. in another word, this gun does 1000 damage, you use 2 90% elemental mod let say its electric and toxin which makes a combination of corrosive damage, 2x90% = 1.8 + 1 (for base multiplier) = 2.8 x 1000 (base damage of the weapon) = 1000 base damage + 1800 corrosive damage = 2800 damage overall
You can learn more details about elemental combos via the link I provided above.
But TL;DR if you’re lazy and don't feel like min-maxing at all, just use corrosive (toxin + electric) and blast damage (heat + cold). Later you can get a weaker version of the 90% elemental mods that gives 60% elemental and 60% status chance for weapons which are used for status based builds or hybrids. Last thing, use the Mod Order I show above for elemental mods, this how the game figure out what elemental combination to give to you | As for weapon that has a innate elemental damage like heat, without using another elemental mod which give the same damage, the innate heat is calculated in the invisible slot 9 ie the end, to change this simply use a elemental mod that matches the base damage, if its happen to be a combination damage ie corrosive, then the weapon gave you a free elemental combo so you can either use different combo or just add more to what it already have.

Endo
This is the resource you gain by drops from all enemy in the games, and some as rewards to be use on mods that you want to rank up.... yep that’s basically all it is
How to Get Endo?
-All Enemy can drop it (there is a place people farm for this for around 300-600 in 3ish minutes on Sedna, use recruit chat to get in a lobby easier, just type LF Endo Farm )
-Mission Reward
-Daily Login
-Dissolving duplicate unwanted mods
-Ayatan Sculptures (found randomly at like a 1% chance per mission, or doing your weekly Maroo Hunt, additionally if you got nothing else to do, Arbitration, there is also Sortie)
-Sortie (Require you to complete The War Within story quest to unlock this)
Side Note, Endo is not a crafting material, so resource booster and resource drop chance booster does not affect how much you can get to drop and pickup.

Warframe Modding
(Very Short)
Warframe Modding is a bit complicated due to each warframe and their ability being different so some mods are useful while other are useless or hinders the warframe instead. So in place of another giant wall of text I’ll just give you a general advice to do when modding your warframe, get your power efficiency as high as possible (cap is 175%) this way you can spam ability more, aside from this tbh do whatever you want. If you got a question of certain mod affect certain ability, just go to the wiki, go to the warframe you want to look up, then in the ability tab scroll all the way down, and there is a picture showing what kind of mod affect the ability.

Sentinel Modding
There are sentinel abilities which you can have in, they follow the same mod order, whichever being closest to 1 has the higher priority, people tend to have the mod called Guardian at 1 slot, while a mod called Regen at the last slot, the mod to pick-up loot don't matter.

Side Note: Mods that you use for weapon on sentinel, unfortunately you need to have a complete duplicate set of the same mod for ur normal guns otherwise it will cause a conflict, n blah blah blah.
In another word, if your using Carrier's Sweeper sentinel weapon, it uses shotgun mods, you need 2 hell's chamber, point blank, etc.

Yellow, Orange, Red Crits
So this will just be a summary of how the crit tier works; if you wish for more details there will be a link to the wiki page at the bottom of this section.

Weapon X: (Just a example)
Stat: Crit Chance 100% (Always yellow crit) | Crit Damage x5.0 | Base Damage 100

Crit Tier ranges:
Yellow: 0.1%-100% (Tier 1)
Orange: 100.1%-200% (Tier 2)
Red: 200.1%-300+% (Tier 3)

Weapon X math for each crit tier is like this:
BD (Base Damage)
CD (Crit Damage)

Yellow: 100 BD x 5 CD = 500
Orange: 100 BD x 5 CD = 500 x (5 - 1) CD = 1500
Red: 100 BD x 5 CD = 500 x (5 - 1) CD = 1500 x (5 - 2) CD = 4500

I can only hope you understand where I was going with this instead of usually going into a massive wall of text like the rest of the guide. Anyways hope this clear some stuff up, more detail check the wiki link below.

Forma, Catalyst, Reactor, Exlius Slot, and Aura/Melee Stance Slot
Forma
A consumable which let you add or change a existing polarity at the cost of resetting your item back down to 0 i.e. derank, which mean you gotta relevel them all the way back up to rank 30 (which is max for most weapon, at the exception for 1 which I won't say cause of spoiler reason)
Side Note: After 1 forma you can rearrange the polarity to where you want them to be at the exception of exlius slot, aura slot, and melee stance slot. Re-arranging them also affect all configuration of the item, so do it in a way that would work for the builds your going for.
Ways to Acquire Forma:
-In-game Market, 1 = 20p (Don't Buy, there are better uses for platinum)
-In-game Market Bundle, 3 = 35p (if you don't want to farm and wait for them to build then go for it)
-Alerts (Usually a full forma which mean u don't need to build)
-Invasion Reward (Side with a faction, do it 3 times, wait for the invasion to end, does not matter if either side win or lose, you still get the reward)
-Fissures (use relics that have forma as a possible reward, do a fissure, equip the relic, get 10 reactant, and hope u get the blueprint to build which takes 24 hours)
-Sortie (full forma, but getting it is a very very sad reward)
-Plague Star Event (reoccuring event in the Plains of Eidolon, doing it get you event rep, talk to the mask selling kid and you can buy fully built forma easily)

Catalyst & Reactors
Also known as "potatoes". Both are legit the same thing, the only difference, Catalysts are for weapons of any and all kinds while Reactors are for Warframe, Sentinel, and Pets (anything with a hp bar)
What they do is double the mod capacity of the item you use it on. i.e. say you have a Braton at rank 30, you have 30 mod capacity, using a catalyst doubles the 30 to 60. Same applies to reactors, but on applicable items.
Ways to Acquire Potatoes:
-In-game Market, 1 = 20p (most common way to get them)
-Alerts (Usually a Blueprint)
-Invasion (Usually a Blueprint)
-Sortie (rare chance, but still getting it is considered a sad reward since it’s only 20p)

Exilus Slot and Adapter
Unlock the Exilus Slot on warframes, mods that have a cog like symbol on the middle top of the mod are considered exilus, it also has it own mod tab when your modding your warframe. An Exilus mod is usually a utility mod of some kind.
Ways to Acquire the Adapter:
-In-game Market, 1 = 20p (most common way to get them)
-Alerts (Usually a Blueprint)
-Invasion (Usually a Blueprint)
-Sortie (rare chance, but still getting it is considered a sad reward since it’s only 20p)
-Bp can be purchased from Cephalon Simaris for 50k standing

Side Note: Exilus Adapter, Catalyst, Reactor, and Forma, along with Rivens (Check it own tab for more info), I mentioned Alerts, while it is random for them to appear for around 2 hours. There’s a Dev Stream once every 2 week where Devs traditionally always do special "Gifts Of the Lotus" Alerts which last up to 48 hours and can contain any of these.

Aura & Melee Stance Slot
Aura Slots on warframe gives you increased mod capacity, doubled if the polarity matches. Same applies to melee stance mods (melee stance give you some button mashing attack combination which are neat and all, however most people use the block combo if there is one)

(1/27/2019)
Crafting & Materials
Crafting
Everything you craft is done at the foundry. Each item will require you to spend some gathered materials as well as credits to make it (no clue why a 3D printing machine needs to take your cash... but whatever). Most blueprint can be acquire from the in-game market, select a item and there 3 tabs, the middle tab of the 3 is the blueprint tab, the blueprint cost credit. Some item will instead say Clan Tech or something similar, which is the place where you would get those kind of item bp. A few blueprints are from Alerts or special drops from rare enemies while others are from Invasion or Fissures by cracking relics.

Materials

The wiki does it better than I can.

Mastery Rank and how to gain Mastery Pts
Mastery Rank
Mastery Rank is a way of telling how many weapons you have used within Warframe and a pseudo-progression system. Mostly it tells you how much time you spent leveling weapon you don't like. Mastery rank does NOT mean you're good at the game or offer combat bonuses.
Is there a benefit to ranking up Mastery then?
-unlocks stronger weapons
-quests
-rivens
-more daily trades, void trace capacity, loadout slot, reputation limit, etc
-advanced mod capacity (ie your Mastery 0, you have an unranked MK1-Braton, it has 0 Mod Capacity. Taking the same scenario, but your now Mastery 10, you instead now have 10 Mod Capacity in advance even though your weapon is unranked, however you now need to rank it past rank 10 to continue getting more mod capacity.

Mastery Pts
Ok thats great, now how do I earn Mastery Pts?
Level anything and everything up to max rank once, ie MK1-Braton unranked to 30 = 3000 mastery points. Buying a new MK1 braton and repeating the process won't yield you more points, nor does forma-ing the weapon. If you say stopped at rank 20 then got rid of the weapon, you earned 2000/3000 pts, if you want the rest you’ll have to get the weapon again and make sure this time you max it out. You can use the Codex to keep track of what you have leveled and what you haven't.
Weapons gives 3000 pts each. Warframe, Kubrow, Kavat, Sentinel, Archwing, and K-Drives all gives double points. Additionally having maxed out required scans for random stuff and Lore tidbits also give you small amounts of mastery. Completing mission nodes at least once which mean you have unlocked the mission node also will grant a small sum of mastery that will add up over time.

(1/27/2019)
Earning XP and How it Works
How earning xp work
You can have 3 weapon 1 warframe equipped at any given time, say you use your melee and you got a kill worth 100 xp, that 100 xp is then split evenly ie 50/50 between your melee and your warframe.

Now let say you use a warframe ability to get that kill instead, that 100 xp that came from the ability will only go to the warframe.

Now what happen if a teammate gets a kill? (Updated Information by Kroxigar) XP split math end up being 25% goes to the warframe, 75% goes to any weapons equipped, ie if only 1 weapon is equipped then 75% will go to that, if there is 2 then 37.5% split, and finally 3 weapon then it is 25% (You can find this info on the wiki as well)( https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Affinity )

*Raises Hand* What about having something like a sentinel and its weapon?
Good question, the xp you gain from your teammate, is essentially "copied" over to your sentinel and its weapon, i.e. teammate gets a kill worth 1000, that 1000 is split evenly among your weapon and warframe, but for sentinel it copy that 1000 for itself and split it either with its own weapon if equipped, if not it hordes all the xp.

Warframes, Sentinel, Archwing, K-Drive, Kubrow/Kavats all require 900,000 xp to hit rank 30
Weapons needs 450,000 xp to hit rank 30

(1/27/2019)
Sentinel/Pets
So instead of going into massive details, I'm just going to give a short TLDR of the point of getting a sentinel and what their uses are.

Sentinel and Pets are your utlity for picking up loot as they have a mod which turn them into a loot vacuum. That’s pretty much it.

Carrier - Convert Ammo pickup into required ammo ie shotgun ammo into sniper
Dethcube - Shoot stuff
Shade - Make your warframe invisible
Djinn - Lure stuff close then release a massive fart
Taxon - Slow stuff down with it ice beam, and using it with a condition overload melee setup
Helios - Scans stuff for you so you don’t have to

Kubrows

Huras: Can make you invisible.

Raksa: Replenishes shields and frightens mobs nearby.

Sahasa: Digs random loot up for player.

Sunika: Knocks down enemies and performs finisher moves on them.

Chesa: Brings loot to the player (weaker version of the "vaccuum" mod for sentinels.)

Helminth charger: Infested dog that pairs well with Nidus.

Kavats

Adarza: Gives players in range increased critical chance.

Smeeta: Gives player random buffs such as crit chance, energy, double loot etc.

Venari: Exclusive kavat that comes with the warframe "Khora" as an ability.

Personally I prefer the Smeeta, just makes farming easier.

Side Note: Mods that you use for weapon on sentinel, unfortunately you need to have a complete duplicate set of the same mod for ur normal guns otherwise it will cause a conflict.
In another word, if your using Carrier's Sweeper sentinel weapon, it uses shotgun mods, you need 2 hell's chamber, point blank, etc.

(1/27/2019)
Syndicates
There are many different syndicates aka player faction type in the game, however most of them are friendly towards the player except the first 6 syndicate you will be shown to.
This being:
-Steel Meridian | Arbiter Of Hexis | Cephalon Suda | This is the Left Side.
-Perrin Sequence | Red Veil | New Loka | This is the Right Side.

It is in your best interest to pick a side and stick with them all the way to max, because they provide stuff that you can use to do trading with other players and earn yourself a bit of platinum which is the premium currency of the game if you somehow haven't realised it by now :3. Picking either side will make one of the side want to murder you, by murder they will send "Death" squad randomly at you when you're playing.

To earn the Reputation for these syndicates, have their sigil that you gotten from talking to them in your inventory, to access it go to your arsenal > Warframe > Appearance > Regalia > and pick either front or back sigil (you equip only one syndicate sigil on your warframe).

Now go run missions, the xp you earn will be converted into reputation for whichever sigil of syndicate you currently are wearing. As you progress through a syndicate you can get other sigils which have a % next to em, which just mean you earn the rep a bit faster, additionally since there is a daily cap to how much reputation you can earn each day, if you really want to get all u can rep wise, they also will give you 3 daily reputation mission of each syndicate you are allied with. On top of that these mission will have syndicate medallion which you can learn more at the wiki: https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Syndicate_Medallions

I recommend you don't go specifically hunting for these medallions, if you see them on the way grab em, don't spending 30 minutes in a mission that should take you 5 minutes max to finish.

If you insist on hunting medallions anyway then it is recommended to use loot mods such as the aura Loot Detector and/or Thief's Wit, and for companions Animal Instinct since medallions show up as loot on the map. These medallions earn standing that is not tied to your daily cap and can be stored to prevent wasted reputation when the current level's cap is reached. Most missions will have upwards of 3000+ standing worth of medallions to find. When finding a medallion, if playing with a group you should mark any medallions found as they show up as a map marker with their name and location for your teammates and this greatly speeds up the search. Upon picking up any medallion you will see a fraction appear that looks like "x/y" medallions found. X is the current number of found medallions and Y is the amount spawned on the map. You won't find more than 8 on any given map but sometimes fewer than 8 spawn.
Alternative searching method
You can use the Limbo with a max range, low duration, low efficiency, and as much strength mods as you have. Using the Limbo setup, also use any mod that give you loot detection i.e. Loot Detector Aura + Thief Wits + Animal Instinct Companion. I also highly recommend using Zenurik's Energizing Dash. Now go into a syndicate mission that usually isn't a defense or interception mission type, these mission types have a low chance of spawning medallions, and use your Cataclysm then immediately cancel the ability, doing this will kill mid level enemies as well as breaking containers. Due to having the loot mods you have a huge loot detecting range, you can see what get broken by Cataclysm, the remaining squares on your map can either be medallions, resources, Ayatan sculpture, and Grineer/Corpus/Orokin Caches (only if you are doing Sabotage mission type).

Trading & Warframe.Market
Ok what is trading and how the hell does it even work?
Trading in warframe are interactions between 2 players which takes place in Maroo’s Bazaar, in a Dojo, or any place with a trading post. Most common form of trading is a Player selling X item for platinum so they can earn the premium currency outside of the official Market. There is a daily cap on the number of trades each day and this cap is increased from having a higher Mastery Rank . There is a large variety of things that can be traded, however most player prefer payment for said items in platinum, while few other are willing to trade X for Y item instead. There is a in-game trade chat, with a filter that you can place in keyword for the chat to not look flooded with million people typing in it every second.

However there is a alternative to trade chat, i.e. Warframe.market this website is not part of the game, nor can you interact it with the game, it is simply a website that allow you to connect your warframe/steam account to it, and let you place items that you want to buy or sell. The only thing this website does not have are Rivens, that you can find on another site called Riven.market .

Now do I recommend using these third party website?
Actually yes I do, it show you what the current market worth of X or Y item, hell you can take advantage of that statistic in use of Trade Chat, as some players in Trade Chat will sell a item at an unknowingly lower price then what is listed on the website. It's also better than making a copy & paste of a WTS -insert stuff- message that you paste in Trade Chat every 2 minute and so on.
Pricing stuff fairly (don't need to be the cheapest), and just having it running as a "online in-game" status, while you are actually in the game playing it and not just afk. You will get people who message you wanting to buy your stuff, just ask em to wait a few minutes if ur in the middle of something, if they wait that is great, if not time is precious... don't blame em for not being able to wait 10+ minute for something that cost like 5 platinum to get. Anyways as a point of reference I've made over 10,000 platinum (others made far more than I have) by just playing the game, and selling stuff which I don't actually need.
Side Note: There is a way to get a lot of platinum in the long run, however it’s a secret... but if you know basic business and marketing of how supply and demands work, this method work for everyone. (Only useful for long term players, short term your out of luck)

Bewary of Fake Platinum
What is "Fake" platinum?
It's when a player buys the premium currency, then contact their credit card company to revoke the spending. Doing so the platinum which said account bought is then revoked. What does this have to do with anything to be cautious about a minor issue as this?.... Well some player would buy platinum, sell it cheaper on illegal third party website to other users, those other user end up buying such platinum which is a breaks the EULA (go read it, and take a painkiller for the wall on wall of text) can be banned. Not only that, but if the person who own the fake plat in the first place decided to go on a trading spree and say give 100p to Player B, C, and D. Then the fake plat user forced refunded the platinum, those platinum which are traded to B C and D are also revoked ie subtracting 100 from their current amount. Now why is this such a bad thing? Well if your platinum amount goes down pass Negative your account is automatically banned until you pay to get your account back out of the negative. Granted the current way DE handle Fake Platinum is very very poor. As a person that trades, you should be extremely wary of any trade exceeding 1,000 platinum. My best advice to those kinds of trade, before accepting the trade, Take a screenshot of your current platinum count, then during the trade with the chat of the user whom you are trading with. and the after of the trade being successful, finally your new total. All to have evidence in-case there was any misdeeds done to you, so you got some proof for your end that the Warframe Support Ticket team can look at. There are other information about this on the forums, or just googling it around you will find more, so again be careful with big trades.

Ok, what kind of item can I trade that would give me a somewhat consistant platinum income?
-Archwing Parts ranging from 15-20p (15p sell much faster)
-Syndicate Mods 15-20p (I don't sell syndicate augment mods, so exact pricing idk)
-Ayatan Sculptures
-Prime Parts
-Mods (Split Chamber, Barrel Diffusion, etc)
-Corrupted Mods (Gain from Orokin Derelict with the dragon keys)
-Drift Mods (Gain from specific puzzle from Lua tileset)
-Dual stat elemental mods (Gain from usually Spy mission reward)
-Split Chamber, Barrel Diffusion
-Silver Grove Update Mods/Aura/Stance
There is more, but I cannot think of them right now.

Quest
Ok, so for "Quest" I am not going to get into the Lore at all. All there is for me to say for this section is that Questd come in 2 types: Story and Obtain A Warframe. The story ones specifically as you do them will unlock new stuff for you to do and play with. While the other type of quest are there was a direct method of obtaining X or Y warframe with a bit of a background story on top. I don't want to spoil anything the quests has to offer. However, the Focus Section of this guide will talk about the new system you get after completing the Second Dream Quest and The War Within, don't go ruin the spoiler if you haven't done the one of the quest yet.

I should also mentioned, most of your quest you can start in your Codex, as for the warframe Inaros, to get him you need to do his quest which always comes from the Void Trader by the name of Baro Ki'Teer every 2 weeks at a random relay. Use the follow link to the wiki to find when he will arrive next: https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Baro_Ki%27Teer

Warframe Acquisition
Getting Warframes
How do I get new warframe, aside from my starting one?
Well as mentioned in the Quest section, some warframes you can obtain easily from doing the quest for them. The other warframes will drop in parts from a boss which you can farm by just going to the assassination node of each planet and repeatedly maiming the boss into a pile of scrap. The only boss that does not award a warframe part as a reward for defeating him is, Captain Vor, he instead offer his pistol part called the Seer and a melee weapon that is very slightly stronger than the skana called Cronus. The info below is which boss drops what, and where these bosses are located.

Planet Boss Fight:
Fossa, Venus - Rhino
War, Mars - Excalibur
Tethys, Saturn - Ember
Exta, Ceres - Frost
Oro, Earth - Hydroid
Titania, Uranus - Equinox
Psamathe, Neptune - Loki
Iliad, Phobos - Mag
Naamah, Europa - Nova
Hades, Pluto - Trinity
Merrow, Sedna - Saryn
Themisto, Jupiter - Valkyr

Special Mission:
Spy Mission - Ivara (Use wiki for drop location)
Mutalist Alad V Assassination, Eris - Mesa (you need to farm the Muta Nav Coord from Invasion reward when it’s available)
Assassination, Orokin Derelict - Nekros (Require Void Traces to make a key to fight this boss)
Any Boss Node during a Infestation Outbreak - Nyx
Any Eximus Enemy - Oberon
Alerts - Vauban
Grineer Maniacs - Ash
Clan Tech, Tenno Lab - Zephyr, Volt, Banshee, Nezha, Wukong, All Archwings

As for the ones I did not mentioned, please refer to the Wiki: https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Warframes

Prime? Prisma? Vandal? Wraith?
Each weapon in the game has a faction based art style or theme that they adhere to. These theme dictate what a superior version of this weapon would be, though there are a few examples of overlap before DE solidified this practice. The Kraken pistol is a grineer faction weapon - it looks like a makeshift industrial pistol, and the grineer superior suffix is Wraith. So if there ever is to be a stronger version of the same "Kraken" pistol it would then be called Kraken Wraith.
Basically anything with a suffix is stronger then the base former weapon, the only exception are anything that has "Mutalist" in the name, these turns the weapon into something completely different and is classified as a completely different faction (Infested) i.e. Cernos vs Mutalist Cernos. Additionally there are prefix like Mara for the Detron, which I have 0 clue what Mara supposed to stand for.

Relation of Suffix/Prefix
(you will learn which weapon is what by just looking at them with some practice)
Prime = Tenno (this is all warframe, some weapons)
Vandal = Corpus (advance tech, usually shoot laser or plasma bullet)
Wraith = Grineer (anything looks industrial)
Mutalist = Infested (it legit can be anything, it’s completely random)
Prisma = Baro Ki'Teer (from the Void Trader)
Dex = Digital EXtreme (Weapon given upon warframe anniversary)

Side Note: Mutalist weapon while being infested are not the only infested themed weapon, some do not use the prefix Mutalist. Mutalist indicates a non-infested weapon being turned into something entirely different. At this point in time, there has yet to be a "superior" version of some of the infested themed weapon such as the Synapse.

Side Note 2: This is a mechanical guide, so if theres a problem with "lore" go read it on the wiki or watch a video about it, I am only phrasing the prefix in the simpliest possible form without going into the details about the lore. As for people saying primes are "Orokin".... Tenno, Grineer, Corpus, Sentient, and infested are also all orokin, they all originated from the Orokin (Enough said, if you want to see lore find a video or read stuff on the wiki about it)

Star Chart, Junction, Dark Sector, World Alert, and Invasion
Star Chart
This is the general term for the map of missions, so I will break it down to different sections to make it easier to digest.

Junctions
These are required for you to unlock travel to new planets, to do so simply follow what the requirement ask of you to do. Once all the requirement has been fulfilled, go to said Junction and there you can unlock the way to go to your next planet, indirectly Junction will also introduce you to the story missions and offer rewards.

Dark Sector
These are infested missions that are on every planet, there are 2 nodes of them on each planet. They give have some rather useful boosts to drop rate and credits if you play them, specifically if you are trying to farm materials to craft with.

World Alerts
These are "special" mission which are Gift of the Lotus from Dev stream, weekly Maroo ayatan, help clem, and any tactical alert that the dev decide to make, the original alert system have be reworked into the Nightwave system, please look at the Nightwave section for more information.

Side Note: Alert and Nightmare mission only appear on a mission node that you have completed at least once, which is why you will want to do every single mission in the game once, this give a small amount of mastery and also give you all the chances for alerts to pop up.

Invasion
The invasion system is similar to alerts, the difference is that you get 2 choices of a reward as long as the invasion is by a Corpus or Grineer Faction, you choose the reward you want by siding with the same faction on said mission node 3 times then waiting for the invasion to end. The reward appears in your inbox afterwards. These reward tends to be very common from fully built materials to Clan Tech weaponry, additional coordinates to fight Mutalist Alad V to farm Mesa Parts, and finally obtaining parts for the Wraith/Vandal weapons. It will also rarely have fully built forma, catalysts, and reactors too.

(03/02/2019)
Recurring Star Chart Events
Stalker Acolytes
Occurs approximately every 6 months
Acolytes shows up 1 or 2 at a time with a global hp bar that degrades everytime one of them are defeated. They spawn randomly on a mission within the star chart which is initially hidden, when they are discovered everyone else will be updated on the location of the Acolyte so people will go and find it to bash the living day light out of them, rinse repeat until it is dead, do this exact same thing for each Acolyte.
The only reason this is important is because they drop some useful and rare mods.

(03/25/2019)
Nightwave "Alert Rework"
Nightwave
Alerts are gone, replaced with these new challenges. Easiest way to view Nightwave is as a completely free battle pass. Completing objective listed on Nightwave will gain reputation which will automatically rank you up with the current season of Nightwave. Ranking up requires 10,000 rep and will yield a reward from the current list of items. Managing to obtain all tiers of rewards will move you into prestige mode and you'll earn the currency to spend in the special shop of Nightwave. You do not need to complete all obj to obtain all rewards, doing the weeklies is enough to get the last reward or do 60% of the objectives per week. A single season of Nightwave will last 10 weeks. There are UI elements which show you how many weekly Nightwave objectives you must complete at least to be on track to getting all tier of reward, preventing daily logging from becoming mandatory and making daily Nightwave tasks optional, you only need to do the weekly. The total amount of points required for all 30 reward tiers is 300,000 (30 tiers x 10,000 rep) and there is an excess of about 130,000 points in-case you miss a week or two or simply cannot complete certain weekly task. Daily task also will have a 3 days timer, if you are busy you can just hop on twice a week and be totally fine.

Wolf of Saturn Six
This is an escaped grineer criminal which will randomly appear in your mission similar to the stalker. Defeating him will only give you a CHANCE for him to drop his weapon part for you to build his "Wolf Hammer" which is a glaive-like hammer weapon. As of Dev stream #124, they had mentioned that the Wolf's spawn rate will increase as time passes.
Additionally, you can find fugitives while playing; capturing fugitives will yield 50 rep each for a total of 150 rep for each spawn.

Nightwave intermission

The intermission is before nightwave: series2. As DE works on the second series the intermission serves for those to have access to items such as aura mods, catalyst, reactors, nitain and accesories. Its basically the same as normal nightwave except for the appearance of the wolf.

Clan & Clan Tech
There’s no real point in owning a clan yourself unless you got some friends that want a private clan. Why? To start you would need a lot of materials just to get things built, additionally clan research if you were to start researching everything back to back, its gonna still take you like 3-4 months if not more to get everything unlocked for you to use. Now if you're a solo player who doesn't have friends and such things, you should just go to recruit chat or the official forums, find a clan that has everything research, join it and just get all their clan tech stuff.

If you want your own clan anyway its best to level up and save up as many resources and forma as you can. Some things that you need to know are:
-Each bigger hal requires a smaller hall already build. You cannot delete smaller halls if you only want the big ones. When building your dojo keep this in mind. There are a total of 5 main halls.
-You will need reactors in order to provide capacity for the rooms and decorations.
-Clans come in different tiers. From small to big the order is: Ghost (10 players), shadow (30), storm(100), mountain (300) and moon (1000). You upgrade by building barracks. Its also possible to downgrade.
-The bigger your clan tier the more everything costs to build. For example if something costs 10,000 credits in a ghost clan, the same thing will cost 1,000,000 in a moon clan.
-There are diffent ranks for players in clans that you can assign. Started the clan? Then you are the "founder warlord". But keep in mind when inactive for a long period, players in your clan may request from the helpdesk that you are removed from your rank and take over.
-You can build elevators and have several floors in your clan but personally I wouldn't recommend it. It makes the map look more confusing. A better option is to build teleporters.
More details can be found here: https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Clan_Dojo

Uploading a clan emblem? Uploading is done from the website on: https://www.warframe.com/user under clan settings. The requirements are written there.
Making your own emblem? I would recommend doing it in vector in any art software for a sharp look and make sure the image is slightly darker than intented. The reason is in game there are many effects and it will always be brighter than on the original image.
Dont know how to or dont want to make your own? You can request others making it for you on the forums in the players helping players section. Some are willing to do it for free. Some may charge a platinum fee or you can offer a price yourself. The choice is yours.

Side Note: If you need Ignis Wraith, some clans will have the blueprint unlocked, don't buy it pass 5p cause tbh they are not even worth 1p. People that sell em for 5p+ are taking advantage that they got it and others don't.

POE (Cetus & Plains Of Eidolon on Earth)
So for new players, you will unlock this very early on, there is a quest involved, once you complete it you are essentially let go to do whatever it is you want. For starters Cetus is essentially a player hub where you can go select bounties, buy blueprints, make custom melee weapons (Zaws), and so on. While the Plains is the actual open world bit of Cetus, it is currently 1 of the 2 available open world areas in Warframe.A Quick Overview of Cetus:

Cetus
You can fast travel to each NPC by hitting ESC.
Cetus is the name of the village, the faction is called the Ostron (Syndicate), which mean you can earn rep, unlike the 6 syndicate you can pick from, there is no downside to siding with the Ostron. To earn reputation for the Ostron, you have a few option:
-Doing Bounties (easier)
-Fishing and turning in Fish (Fish Size = Rep value, materials don't really matter)
-Mining and turning in gems (not recommended)
Gaining more rep, you can rank up, ranking up unlocks more stuff, etc

Quills
(Spoilier if you haven't completed The War Within Quest)
The Quills are a special syndicate which you can earn rep by turning in sentient cores to Onkko, cores are found by killing sentients at night, and as always as you get more rep and rank up more things become available including operator cosmetics. The main reason for spending time here is the amp: an operator weapon which allows you to farm the Eidolons which spawn at night easier and faster. You can also use the rep you have to buy 1 Cetus wisp for 5000 rep. It seems steep but there aren't many other worthwhile things to earn repeatedly after maxing your reputation. More details in the Eidolon section

Plains of Eidolon
Exact size of the map I believed is 2x2km which is fairly big. There are random incursions (random pop up objective) which occur only if you do not have a bounty active and it is daytime. This is where you will be fishing and mining for resource to craft stuff from Cetus. If it is raining outside, the fishing rate is increased. At night time, the "Eidolon" comes out and roam the plains, you cannot fight it until you completed "The War Within". The Plains also have recurring events which are the Ghoul Purge and Plague Star. Aside from this, I really don't know what else to say about the Plains.
Side Note: If you have the archwing Itzal, that thing is great for the Plains and Orb Vallis to travel around quickly

(1/27/2019)
Recurring Events on PoE
Ghoul Purge
This is a very simple and super duper common event on the Plains which occurs what feels like literally every week.
To do this event all you need to do is go to Cetus and talk to Konzu about the ghoul purge which has a few bounties for it, the only real purpose for the event is lore entries from scanning/pick ups, along side 2 weapons the Stubba and Quartarkk... aside from that it simply places a ton of buried ghoul around the plains to annoying you whenever you're trying to do something.

Plague Star
This event is not automatic, DE will flip the switch for the event to take place and I can recall hearing they said every 4 months. The event takes place on the Plains where a infested meteor has landed on and the infested are everywhere, you must go purge them. To do this once again go talk to Konzu for the bounty, which also will require you to equip 2 item which is: Eidolon Phylaxes (BP from Narak) and Infested Catalyst (BP from Clan Infested Lab)
The rewards you can earn from this using the rep you earn from the operation bounties, which must be redeemed through Narak (Masks selling kid), are rare gems, fully built forma, zaw part (Keewar and Kripath strikes), and the zaw arcane blueprint.

The bounty has a boss fight, phase 2 of Lephantis i.e. the part where it opens up and you shoot the glowy bits.

Fighting Eidolons (Spoiler)
Starting out
You you start with a very bad Mote Amp. To get a better amp go talk to the Quills and make one.
Ok, now this how the fight works.

Terry Fight (Teralyst)

1- Get at least 1 lure, preferably 2 (spawns at a grineer camp, shoot it then hack it, it will now follow you) | Now you gonna want to charge them, you know it charged by a audio que or when it marker goes from yellow to blue, to do this find those small sentient called Vomvalyst (Vom for short) and you now have 2 option, shoot them with your normal gun until they become a ghost and move your lure near them to automatically absorb them in or flat out kill them with your amp and they drop a intact core and a white ball thing, that white ball thing is what will charge up your lure, to do this pick it up, your guy will have a blue flash over him for like 10 seconds, during that time get near an uncharged lure for it to absorb the energy.

2- Now go to where Terry is at, swap to your amp by hitting 5, shoot him until his shield has drop and there is a brief flash of red.

3- Once his shield drop, there is 4 Limb that you must break before you can actually kill/capture him. To do this you going to want to use a strong high power burst damage weapon, which is usually either the Lanka, Rubico Prime, or Vectis Prime. Order of limb breaking does not matter, however each limb broken will give the Terry or any of his Brothers new ways to attack and attempt to murder you. Once a Limb Break, make sure you are close to him so the lure will prevent him from teleporting to another location (must be a charged lure, only need 1) (go into void mode as your operator by crouching, this will let you be immune to damage).

4- Repeat 2 and 3 until all Limbs is gone

5- When the last limb is broken, the Terry will faceplant into the ground and scream for his mommy. This is when vomvalyst will rush to "aid" him as in just heal him. After around 30 seconds, Terry will stand back up and you can shoot the living hell out of him, once he is close to death, make sure the person who have the lures with them be nearby, if not right on top of him, to capture. If the lures isn't close enough, then he will just collapse and you get a different type of loot pool.
Side Note: If you take too long to either kill him or damage his limb, he will call out to nearby vomvalyst to give him his shield back

Do you need to wait to always have 1 charged lure to prevent the teleport?
No, you can wait if you want, if not just break the limb and move to where it teleport to.

You only require 1 charged Lure to prevent a Eidolon from teleporting.
For amount of Lures to Capture:
Terry - 2
Gaunty - 3
HooverDam - 3

Which total a requirement of 8 lures to capture all 3 Eidolon if you are fighting the Trio.

Now my recommanded Setup:
Trinity Bless Build or Oberon Support Build with increased Range for Hallowed Ground
Volt with a Shield Build (Power Strength does not affect Volt's Shield)
Chroma/Rhino (either or works)

When I used to farm only Terry, I did it with my best friend Kubbi, she was trinity or Oberon, I was the rhino, we captured 12 per night with only the two of us.
You don't need to have a chroma nor rhino, hell you can just have 3 volt and a support warframe to keep the lures alive and that will be plenty.
A bit of advice though for the fight if you get tired of having your warframe energy zapped every time it screams after the limb pop, go and get 2 R3 arcane Nullifier (basically having 2 make you immune to magnetic status) and then equip them both on your warframe.

(1/27/2019)
Fortuna (Fortuna & Orb Vallis on Venus)
Similar to Earth with Cetus and the Plains, this is another hub and open world mode with the exception that its supposed to be 4x the size of the Plains (if i recalled correctly anyways). So instead of going into buncha details, I’m just gonna do some quick bullet points that get to the point.

Fortuna
-Player Hub similar to Cetus
-Syndicate called Solaris United
-Have Fishing and Mining gear merchants
-Similar to Hok who sells parts to make custom melee weapons in Cetus, you have Rude Zuud which sell custom secondary gun parts
-Bounties
-Has a intro quest
-Completely different metal/gem type additionally different fish to farm for
-Ability to purchase "Debt Bonds" from Ticker and increase your rep that way (not recommended for new players)
-Merchant that sell you part to make a custom moa pet
-Merchant that let you make K Drive (I hate these thing)

Orb Vallis
-Open World Mode
-Very reflective (all the snow and light will make you go blind)
-Instead of a Day/Night cycle, its a weather cycle of 6 minutes of Warmth followed by 30 minutes of cold (roughly this much, the weather only dictates fishing)
-Roaming Orb Mother (Special Boss Fight, Check next section)
-Toroid (special resource for something later on) which comes in 3 form and are unique to 3 location in the map while some toroid can be randomly found in caves
-Corpus Notoriety, the higher it is, the more corpus will try and turn you into scrap metal

Little Duck
She is a Quill, i.e. only way to talk to her is as your kid/pperator. You give her your toroids and earn rep, similar to Cetus' Onkko. She also can give you recipes to craft cosmetic and amps, the improvement to using her vs Onkko is that her arcanes for your operator do not require crafting.

(1/27/2019)
Profit Taker Orb Fight (Kinda Spoiler)
To access the orb fight, you must first obtain max rank with Solaris United. After which you go into the backroom where Little Duck resides and then do each phase in order at least once. afterwards you can play any phase at any time with no restriction. I should warn people that haven’t done it before that it can be super BS because of all the CC and high constant damage that is done to you.

What the best way to get farm the "systems"?
Go do phase 2, you can do it solo in 2 minute, the trick, use a mobility fatal teleport augment ash with a dagger using covert lethality. teleport on the director and bam insta kill. Once all 3 director is dead, you have to get the datamass pass 2 custom Ambulas guard, use the Tigris (prefer the prime) while being invisible from smokescreen (Ash ability) shoot them in the head-looking piece, after a bit the head will break revealing its "core" shoot again at where the head used to be and you will do max damage, doing things correctly 1 or 2 tigris shot will kill. Alternatively you also can just use Mesa and do the same (I prefer using Ash for this, but everyone has their own style).
Side Note: You can also buy the system directly from LD (Little Duck) with the rep you earned.

Profit Taker
Highly recommended to bring high burst damage weapon similar to the Eidolon fight, HOWEVER make sure its different elementals... Why? Its because the orb shield will change its weakness to X or Y elemental, so if u don't have say Heat damage to attack with when it is weak to heat, then you have 2 option, wait it out (that takes too long) or use your amp and force it to change it weakness. Now if you say do enough damage with X or Y when it is weak to it, it will immediately change it weakness to something else, every time it changes it weakness you will see it flash blue. Now once it down, this is where I will refer to as Phase 1 of 3. Use your archgun deployer and take out its 4 legs. Afterwards its body will drop and then you can damage it for a bit. When it loses 25% of its health it will then launch 4 pylons out in random direction. This is when you go out and destroy the 4 pylon, leaving it vulnerable to your archgun immediately again so take out the limbs then shoot the main body again, after this again it will deploy pylons this time it will be 6 of them. Now is the start of Phase 2 of 3, once you get it shield back down do the same exact thing. and Phase 3 is the same as phase 2, but you actually kill it this time and its rewards ALWAYS will drop directly in its rear. (Resource booster, will give you double the bonds and toroid, credit booster will double the credit caches which drop)
Side Note: As of to this date (1/23/2019) only the Profit Taker Orb can be fought and there is I believe 2 other Orb boss fight that has yet to be introduced yet.

Profit Taker Advice
My personal advice for anyone who attempts or is having problem with the fight.
Primary: Rubico Prime (any high burst damage work, if you got snipetron vandal that works as well)
Secondary: Anything that you can get to deal high burst damage
Melee: Redeemer Prime (Redeemer Prime does innate Blast damage despite it not showing any Blast damage in the first place, because of this you can use 2 other elemental combo like Gas + Magnetic. Which is great because when fighting the Orb and its shield your melee now have 3 way to damage it instead of the usual 2)
Warframe: If you don’t trust ANYONE, use chroma, with a vex armor build, BUT also use utility mods like handspring to help deal with the knockdown, additionally your kid use Magus Elevate which can be crafted from blueprints sold by Onkko, and just spam in and out until chroma is healed up.
Now if you have a team.... 2 Chroma (same build with each other) and 2 Support Oberon (they jump in give you the hp regen then GTFO from the fight, letting the chromas some leeway on fighting)
Now let break down why I said 2 Chroma, fact is you only need 1, but 2 saves you a bit of time... How so? Well back when I refer to points in the fight as Phase 1-3; Phase 1 and 3 Chroma A can handle, while Phase 2 Chroma B has to handle because of Chroma A archgun being on cooldown, however the cooldown can be dealt with if you get a "super ammo" to drop from the enemies. As for the oberon, just 1 oberon with a 200 power strength build will give you 80 hp/s now double it, then think about the fact your using vex armor as chroma gaining weapon damage and a ton of armor, this makes you nearly a god (you can even survive the orb laser attack which normally will 1 shot you).

(1/27/2019)
Thermal Fracture Recurring Event & Exploiter Orb Fight (Kinda Spoiler)
Thermal Fracture
How often is it going to show up again?
From what I remember hearing about is as often as ghouls so every freaking week.
What is the point of doing the fracture?
Getting Diluted Thermia... that is it... and that as of 3/25/2019 is only used to fight the Exploiter Orb.
What does a fracture look like?
Orange yellow looking split in the ground that is unleashing a gas, it spawn randomly just fly around
How do I complete a Fracture?
Go to Tower of Profit, fly around to find a big orb moving around aka the Exploiter Orb, it will spawn coolant raknoids around it, kill one of them, they then will drop a coolant capsule, take the coolant capsule to any fractures, interact with it and proceed to defend it for about 3min 20s each... repeat this 4 time to get 1 diluted Thermia (resource booster will affect the amount gain)

Exploiter Orb Fight
(You do not need archgun for this fight at all)
To fight the exploiter orb, you will first need at least 1 single Diluted Thermia. After which you can go to the location where the phase 1 of 2 will began.
Location: Look at the mid right side edge of the map aka where waypoint 1 and my mouse is at. That is the entrance to fight the exploiter orb.

What is the purpose/reward of the Exploiter Orb fight?
To get Hildryn aka Female Rhino (basically that, she is very THICC) and a super low chance to get a cosmetic blueprint. Additionally you get a huge amount of Orb Vallis mining and fishing resources.

Exploiter Orb Phase 1 of 2
To start the fight go to the end of the room you enter and there is a huge hole up top, there is a machine with levers (like a soda machine) that you use your diluted thermia to start the fight which will also automatically teleport everyone there so you do not have to wait on slowpokes.

You are fighting in a cave, when the exploiter spawns you will need to shoot 2 rocks where the sole of her legs are located (it will also flash white to tell you SHOOT ME), break those rocks. Once that is completed the exploiter will drop down and you will need to break all 4 of her "vents" (looks like a tesla coil) locations of which are 1 on her left and right, and 2 on the back. After breaking one, the other 3 vent will be covered in ice and prevent you from doing any further harm. To thaw the ice, you go and find a Thermia Dispenser machine which there are 5 of. You can tell its a dispenser because it will have a bar that slowly builds up overtime, there is 2 top and 3 bottom. Take a canister and using your alt fire key, throw it directly onto the iced vents to thaw it out, the amount it take should be about 2 (for me its been hit or miss with it being 1 or 4 I don't know why, side note: it say to shoot the canister... you don't need to), after that break the vent, rinse and repeat until all vents are destroyed and she has left the cave. Now you and everyone else also grab a canister and head outside of the cave to be ready to do phase 2.

Exploiter Orb Phase 2 of 2
Once you are out of the cave you will need to do 3 things.
1st - Keeping the coolant raknoids from getting close to the exploiter orb to cool her down (ie the bar you see under your map).
2nd - Throwing Thermia canister at her to build up a stacking overheating passive and making new one from the coolant capsule drop from when she called her raknoid children and aggressively hump the ground creating new fractures which will also automatically cool her down a bit
3rd - Keep her always attacking you or something at all times which will cause her to overheat a bit faster. Additionally when she make a giant flame wall the whoever inside it even outside should have a thermia canister and throw when she does this attack specifically because it generate a huge amount of overheating.

Once she has overheated she will drop down and you or someone just need to bullet jump into her to perform a animation of ripping her to pieces afterward just shoot her anywhere on her body with anything. Now repeat all this 2 more times... the last time take the longest for her to overheat. Once completed she drop all the good loot and I highly recommend to grab the loot and escape or go void mode with your operator to ignore the nuke that's going to happen about 10 seconds after the reward has dropped.

Focus 1.0 and Focus 2.0 (Contain Spoilers)
Focus 1.0
(Requirement: Complete The Second Dream)
Focus 1.0 is mostly history and has been roped into focus 2.0 but the basics are still left over from it so it does introduce you to how the focus system will work. More details will be under Focus 2.0 subsection instead since many abilities have changed. First you require a lens, there are 3 ranks of lens: normal (in-game market for 10p or reward from Cetus Bounties), greater (bought from in-game market for 40p or a 200k blueprint), and eidolon (obtain from Cetus T5 bounty). Each rank will improve the focus conversion between XP and Focus, there are also 5 different Focus trees, each specialize in something different. Once you have said Lens, you install it into a weapon or frame (preferably both), using 1 frame and 1 weapon, the frame preferably a nuker (frame which has an offensive ability to clear an entire room of enemy instantly) you go playing around getting as many kills as possible to get more focus points. When playing with an active lens, there is a chance you will see a yellow icon/orb that shows up and when picked up gives a 45 second timer during which all focus is set to a higher conversion for the duration equating to a burst of focus gain. Now the best method to earn as a new player is you either can do ESO (Elite Sanctuary Onslaught) or SO (Normal Sanctuary Onslaught). I would recommend Normal Onslaught, because while you get less xp you can spam your nuke without fear of your ability being on lockdown as it is with ESO instead. But if you have a setup that will work for ESO it is the better choice.

Focus 2.0
(Requirement: Complete The War Within)
Focus 2.0 is the current FOCUS (yes bad pun, bite me) of the entire system, instead of having that annoying chest death beam thing, you can fire from your operator's (the kid's) hands, and you can obtain Amps from the Quills in Cetus. Now Focus 2.0 is different from 1.0, as many skills have been reworked to be operator centered, but instead of going into detail of each skill which will take to long and I personally don't think you want to read a novel... you can read and research it on the wiki yourself ( https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Focus ). But there are some things that are good to know initially, each focus class has 2 skill in it that you can upgrade and make "global" in which you can access while using any of the other classes of focus as long as you have enough capacity to equip them. A very popular class many pick is Zenurik and then getting Energizing Dash as quickly to being maxed as possible to supply yourself and teammates with what is effectively infinite energy. For Eidolon hunting, a popular choice instead is Madurai for the void strike ability, Offering more damage on your next attack as you build up your damage multiplier while going void mode (invisible) as operator, this is super useful at taking the shield down.
Side Note: Amps need to be leveled up and gilded once before you can actually earn mastery, gilding them similar to the zaw or kitguns will give you their true stat, only the prism aka primary fire of an amp gives mastery.

Sortie
Requirement: Complete The War Within to Unlock

Basically 3 linked missions that can be completed once a day, they change, and doing all 3 gets you a reward out of the reward pool which never changes. For most players Sorties are a nightmare, for others that min-max or cheese the hell out of the game... not so much. Ideally you should always complete your sortie every day.

Advice
If its an interception (even if its corpus) use banshee. Why? She can lockdown anything within 56 meter of her 4 (sound quake, not the damn augment) and with the right build you can just walk away while you hopefully can trust your team to capture the points instead. Build wise I will post things i use in the Extra section.... so whenever I can get around to doing that I will.

(1/27/2019)
Mission types & advice part 1
There are a lot of mission types in the game. You can find some basic info about them in the codex through Codex>Missions. I'll provide some more information about them and what is advised on such missions.

Endless missions
Endless missions are where you earn rewards based on a rotation. Defence, survival, interception, excavation defection and infested salvage are considered endless. The rotation cycle is AABC. A rotations are common rewards, B are uncommon, C can be "Rare".

Let us start with Defense. The defense objective is usually a pod in one place and sometimes an operator NPC. With a pod it is advised to bring a defensive or crowd control frame as Frost and Gara. Volt can defend with his shields and, if used correctly - a Limbo. With the NPC it’s advised to bring a healer such as Trinity. Do not stray far from defense objectives.
The reward system for defense is every 5 waves. So waves 5 and 10 give the A rotation reward, wave 15 gives B, wave 20 gives C and if you continue the rotation restarts.
Note: When playing a fissure the 5th rotation, wave 25, gives an exceptional relic.

In Survival missions oxygen levels drop. Lotus will provide life support capsules that spawn randomly which give 30% oxygen. Enemies have a small chance of dropping small life support tanks which give 3%. It is advised not to use capsules unless the oxygen level is below 50% for efficiency.
In survival Nekros is useful since he can make enemies drop additional life support. Other than him any frame is fine as long as you kill as fast as possible. It’s advised as a team to stick together so that enemies spawn better and don’t dilute too much.
Survival rewards are every 5 minutes similar to defence. 5,10 min=A rotation, 15 min=B, 20 min=C etc.
Fissure survival just like fissure defence will give an upgraded relic on 25 minutes.

Interception is defending 4 points on the map and keeping them occupied. The goal is to intercept before the enemy can. The more points are occupied the faster you intercept. It’s advised to play in a 4 man team. The less people play the faster the points are occupied however defending can be a bit harder then. Crowd control frames are recommended, there's no need to kill in interception, just keep them away from the points. Or you can just kill everything of course if you wish. Any preferred method works.
Reward rotation is per wave. Wave 1 & 2= A, 3=B, 4=C etc.

Excavation can be the fastest rewarding endless mission depending on the team. One excavator spawns every 30 seconds on the map and each needs 100 seconds to finish. Excavators need fuel cells which drop from enemies which provide 20 sec energy. So excavator needs 5 in total. With corpus and grineer warframes like Frost or Gara are recommended to defend. Defending from infested is easier since they melee only. Rewards are per successful excavation and follow the same AABC rotation.

Defection is the trickiest. The objective is to escort NPC's to safety while the toxic air slowly kills them. Defection is considered one of the most annoying and least rewarding mission types in game. Healer frames like Trinity are recommended to heal the NPC. Rotation rewards are applied per NPC group saved.

Infested salvage is a unique endless mission on Oestrus on planet Eris. The goal is to protect the 3 consoles with antiserum charges that enemies drop. The antiserum charges will form a protective bubble around the console. Players can hold 3 serums at a time. The protective bubbles will shrink after a certain time. This is the only mission where you can obtain the warframe Nidus. His parts drop from rotation C. His main blueprint is rewarded from the quest "the glast gambit".

Disruption
Disruption is a game mods similar to mobile defence. You can find it on Jupiter node Ganymede. In disruption there are 4 colored terminals called conduits. The colors are red, blue, cyan and white. To start the conduits you need a same color key that drop from certain enemies. The conduits health are the same as the demolyst which Alad V will send to self destruct along with the conduits. The goal is once the conduit starts to kill the demolyst before it can self destruct. If you fail to kill the demolyst for all 4 conduits the mission fails. Succeeding at least one conduit will continue the mission.

The reward rotation on this game mode is different than the other endless missions. It depends on the amount of conduits defended. If all conduits are succesfully defended the rotation goes like this.
Round 1 rotation= AAAB
Round 2 rotation= AABB
Round 3 rotation= ABBC
Round 4+ rotation= BBCC

Demolysts are immune to many warframe abilities and are tanky. As such it is recommended to bring strong weapons and warframes that do have an effect on them. Some abilities that work are Nova's slowing molecular prime, Khora's strangledome etc. The zaw arcane Exodia epidemic also works on them. Operators magus lockdown arcane holds them in place for 2 seconds.

Activating a conduit will activate a buff of debuff. Buff samples like tenno speed, resource boost, lifesteal etc. Debuff samples like enemy resistance, magnetic abnormalities, energy drain mode etc.

Spy missions
There are several spy vaults in the game depending on the faction or tileset. There's Grineer Galleon, Corpus Ship, Earth, Kuva, Uranus, and Lua spy vaults. There are two type of hacking devices. One is with the grineer which is a timed minigame in orange with a circling point. The other is a corpus hacking device which is a puzzle where you need to connect the lines. The most common are the corpus and grineer spy vaults. Each spy mission has 3 vaults. Depending on the level you'll need 1 or 2 successful vaults to succeed at the mission. On sorties all 3 must be succeeded otherwise the mission fails.

It is recommended to have ciphers in your gear in case the alarm goes off. You can quickly use ciphers during hacking with the Y key. Note that on sorties ciphers are disabled. Another thing that can help is the landing craft support of the airship Liset. It temporarily halts the timer and gives a few seconds extra.

The first advice I'd like to give any player is to take the time and effort to learn spy vaults. At the very least the common grineer and corpus vaults. Many people don’t enjoy spy missions however it’s part of the game. If everyone waits on the other to just carry them then it will take longer than needed and it is a cause of irritation. Let one player handle a vault each. More than one players per vault increases the chance at triggering alarms and fail the mission. Youtube has plenty guides for the vaults. On the star chart spy missions try to practice. On sortie however if you're unsure let your team know rather than risk the alarm. Communication is key here.

As for recommended warframes for spy missions, Any warframe can do spy though some come with abilities that make it a lot easier. Ash and loki can go invisible. Ivara with her prowl augment is best suited since it bypasses lasers but she's difficult to obtain as she, ironically, is obtained via spy missions. Nova can be used with her wormhole to bypass lasers.

Planet Lua has a unique spy tileset. I dont remember seeing it on sortie which is a good thing because the vaults can be very confusing with timed puzzles, obstacles and traps. For Lua spy I would recommend limbo since in the rift the lazers dont trip the alarm.

Assasination
Boss fights, in a nutshell. Some can be simply selected and you go to the boss. Some require specific requirements. Khela on Sedna for example first requires you to get a certain amount of judgement points which you get from arena missions on Sedna. Some need keys crafted to be able to fight to boss.

Mission types & advice part 2
Kuva missions
(Requirement: Complete The War Within)
Done the quest "the war within"? Then from that point on the starchart some random planets/nodes will have kuva missions on them similar to alerts. You can recognize them with the "blood" icons. The only way to find them is to check all planets. The mission bar unfortunately doesnt show it.

There are 2 types. Regular kuva missions which are higher level which give about 600 kuva. And kuva flood which are even higher level and give about 1200 kuva. When starting the mission you'll have to look for the kuva siphon on the map. Its not always on the way to the waypoint so if you finished the mission objective and the siphon didnt appear you'll need to backtrack and search. When its in 100 or 200m in range Lotus will let you know and it will show up with a waypoint on the map.
The kuva siphon will collect kuva that come in clouds. You need to destroy 4 of those clouds to succeed. You can only destroy them with your operator by attacking with amp, void blast or dashing through the cloud. The red clouds have a distinctive sound coming from a direction. Listen to the sound to figure out where it comes from. The guardians, the same ones from the war within quest will try to stop you. Same as in the quest they are invunerable made vunerable with your operator powers.

And then there's kuva survival which is on a dedicated place on Taveuni on the Kuva fortress which is a survival mission. The way it works is some enemies carry kuva cells. You add those cells to the life support capsule and it will gather 200 kuva. Keep in mind that you have to defend the kuva life support in order to succeed and get kuva. On this mission there's reduced life support so bring a frame as nekros, hydroid with pilfering swarm augment or ivara.

Index
The index: endurance mission can be found on the planet Neptune. Its one of the best missions to get credits. When starting you can choose low, medium or high risk wagers. Low risk gives 105k credits per wave. Medium gives 175k and high risk gives 250k per wave.

The goal is to defeat enemies and collect the points they drop which look like green gems. 100 points will get to the end of the wave. When collecting points your warframe gets debuffed with the "financiel stress" which reduces shields, health and drain your energy. Its recommended that tanky warframes as Rhino carry the points and offensive frames deal with the enemies.

Also when holding more points you get a few bonus points along. The bonus is capped at 10 when carrying 20 points. Therefore its unnecessary to carry more than 20.

Derelict
Derelict missions are only accesible via derelict keys. You buy the endless derelict blueprints from the market and build them. One of the resources needed to build them are "nav coordinates" which randomly drop from crates and lockers on any tileset.
The assasination key needs "lephantis nav coordinates" which drop randomly from crates and lockers from any other derelict missions.

Sabotage
Go in and disrupt/destroy a reactor, destroy mining machines, or overload a portal to the void.
There are optional objectives which involve finding 3 Caches, these caches show up on your map with the same icon as a container. These caches also emits a humming sound the closer you are to them and require you to interact with them and may double as a bounty objective. These caches has their own reward and regardless where you find them their reward table is based on how many you open, i.e. 1 cache open = A, 2 = AB, 3 = ABC. The loot table can find on the wiki using the following: https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Resource_Cache

And the rest
The rest of the missions are pretty self explanatory. If you want to do quick missions capture is most recommended followed by extermination. Rescue can be quick depending on the tileset and your team.

Fissures and Relics
Fissure missions are where you make use of your intact relics that you earn in several missions. Relics contain prime parts that are common, uncommon and rare and they contain forma. You can select a fissure mission from the missions bar on the navigation top right. In order to get a reward you must select a relic. You can do fissures without selecting a relic but you will not get a prime reward. Although you can still earn void traces.

There are 4 tiers of fissure missions. From low level to high they are: Lith, Meso, Neo and Axi. The missions are random. The goal is to collect 10 reactants in the fissure mission in order to crack open your relic and get one of its rewards. Void fissures in the mission spawn with a yellow electricity spawning corrupted enemies that you need to kill. Those enemies have a chance of dropping reactants. After 10 reactants you get a random number of void traces rewarded. Those traces can be used to upgrade your relics in order to get a better chance at the more rare rewards.

You can upgrade your relics in 3 tiers at the Void Relic Refinement system. In order to get access you need to finish the Mars junction mission on Earth. Then you can choose to refine your relics to Exceptional, Flawless or Radiant. Radiant relics give the highest chance for rare rewards which is 10%. A regular intact relic has a 2% chance at a rare.

Upgrading to an Exceptional costs 25 traces. Flawless costs 50 and Radiant costs 100 traces. The amount of traces that you can have has a cap. Your trace capacity increases the higher your mastery level. You start with 100 trace capacity and with ever mastery level you get an additional 50. For example someone with MR6 will have 400, MR15 will have 850 etc.

If you have collected 10 reactants and you selected a relic, at extraction you can choose which reward from any of your teammates or yourself. When you play solo you will simply get your own reward. If someone picks your reward you get an extra void trace.
Note: If you see a teammate with the same reward as yours that you want pick your teammates and hopefully they will pick yours. That way each player gets an extra void trace.

Prime Vault
The "Prime Vault" is where the current oldest released prime relics go into a non obtainable state until a unvaulting of said prime happens again in the future. While these prime are vaulted, the relic which it drop from will no longer be obtainable in the game, however if you still have relics of when you farmed for them, you can still use them to get the vaulted prime items. As of 1/29/2019 as a example, Nova and Mag prime along with the weapons those warframe came with has enter the vault meaning no longer can obtain additional of their relics, at the sametime we instead now get Ember and Frost prime unvaulted to be farmable for the relics. Unvaulted relics, you can always find them either in Cetus or Fortuna bounties, while others you can farm elsewhere, please refer to the wiki for their exact drop location.

Baro Ki'Teer (Void Trader)
The man that has a monopoly with his own unique currency that is made by him. This guy by the name of Baro Ki'Teer is a greedy bastard that has setup prime item trading machine, of which you the player can give him unwanted prime parts in exchange for a currency he only accept and no one else currently does called Ducats. Having enough ducats and some spare credit, you can purchase items from hes wares when he visit a relay every 2 week. You can find out which relay either by the wiki or simply waiting on that second week on a Thursday when he will show a icon on a planet to which he will arrive at said relay on the next day i.e. Friday. Primes parts comes into 3 main rarity, at some however are between a rare and a uncommon so the worth of ducats goes by:
Common = 15 ducats
Uncommon = 45 ducats
Rare/Uncommon = 65
Rare = 100

Now what kinds of wares does he brings?
He brings special mods called Primed -insert mod name-, which require about 40,000 endo to fully max out, additionally he also bring some suffix/prefix weapon such as vulkar wraith, mara detron, or supra vandal. He can too bring lot of cosmetic item you can select from, however the variant are on a random rotation. There are quest well at least 1 which is Sand of Inaros that only you can acquire from him. Aside from these, he also bring the dual stat elemental mods, even though you can just use the wiki and farm them off of selected enemy/mission type reward. If you are trying to get one of the miniboss to ambush you in a mission, the greedy man Baro can sell you scented markers to which are placed on you so those miniboss can hunt you down.

Fun Fact: If you're not using a prime warframe of some sort, he will show a disgust for you, while on the other hand if you are using a prime he will then praise you, for your good taste.

To learn more about Baro Ki'Teer, go to the important link section and there will be a link directly to his wiki for you to see all the histories of item of which he sold in the past.

Rivens (Slight Spoiler)
Ok.... This..... is gonna be a toughy

So Rivens, I don't wanna say its loot box/slot machine.... but it is..... you do not spend real cash however, you do everything via in-game grind so it’s not that bad. It is bad if you’re like me and want to have a gun to be so overpowered that it shouldn’t exist in the game in the first place... then you will suffer like I do... Oh yes you will....

Ok so how does riven actually work and how do you go about obtaining them?
Well for starter, you obtain them by Gifts of the Lotus alert from dev stream, but the main way is by Sorties. As for how they work, you get a riven that is veiled, to reveal what it is, you complete the challenge it has on it.... (no restriction on completing riven, ie you have a veiled rifle riven, it say kill 50 enemy with headshot, you can use the rifle to do it, your melee, your warframe, or your secondary, it doesn’t matter unless the riven challenge state something specific itself). Once you’ve unveiled the riven, it’s RNGesus that will give you a random weapon that the riven is tied to, 99% of the time you will get stats that are utter garbage. To fix this, and this is where you can call it a loot box/slot machine; there is no limit to how many rolls you make on a riven, it’s all RNG. Now I mentioned earlier it will be an issue if you’re an addict to power creep like I am because riven are all tradable, if someone has a good riven they will (99.9% of the time) sell it for a absurd price point for platinum... like 2-4k... when you are looking at it in-game and earning platinum via trade it isn't so bad until you do the math for it... but I will spare you the detail and give you this as a example, 50 USD = 1,000 platinum if this is the case then 4,000 = 200 USD, however do keep 1 thing in the back of your head is that... the daily login can give you>20>50>60>75% off platinum deals at random.... but for the sake of argument. 4,000p = 200 USD, for a digital item that is just a line of code.... (granted other game has this like CSGO n such) that is absurd. Additionally those that usually have the cash to purchase it... well you should go and read the Trading Section about Fake Platinum. Grasping reality aside, riven offer significant power and can make even a weak gun stronger, or an already strong gun become game breaking, and again people like me who enjoy seeing BIG NUMBERS are sucked into this. So yah this conclude what I wanted to talk about rivens, their fun and all... but don't end up like me .
