Acrocanthosaurus Guide
By Emperor Ketsukane
This is a guide to the new dinosaur, Acrocanthosaurus. Acro is a very fun dinosaur to play, not to mention one of the most powerful. This guide will break down the Acro abilities, strengths, weaknesses, and talent tree.

Introduction
I am SimplyMemes, and welcome to my Acro guide. Acro is a very good dinosaur, if not used incorrectly. The Bleed damage you do is a phenominal addition to the Acro, and is very powerful. WIth a few hits, you can bleed out an Apato. We'll start with the basics in the next section.
Basic Information
Acrocanthosaurus Information:

Real Life: Acrocanthosaurus was a large predator that lived in the early Creatceous period. Acro was an extremely powerful predator, weighing 13,000 – 14,000 lbs! Acros diet consisted of meat and probably hunted ornithopods and sauropods.

Acrocanthosaurus was a formidable dinosaur, and one of my favorites.
In-game Information
Acrocanthosaurus Game Information:

Acro Talents and Abilities:

Acro Active Ability: Intimidating Roar
Intimidating Roar is a very loud roar which causes the enemy dinosaur to lose stamina, ability power, and receive a substantial damage debuff for a short period of time. This is best used when in a pair or pack. One can support the others with a Intimidating roar, while they fight. This ability is not to be used when alone, because of how much ability power it costs.

Acro Passive Abiltiy: Bleed
Bleed is a very powerful status condition that only the Acrocanthosaurus has access to. Utahraptor will have it too, but Utah is not out right now. Bleed stops all healing, drops comfort severely, and does damage overtime. it is midgitated and depleted by the ability Clotting, and/or sitting down.

My Best Acro Talent Tree:

This Setup Requires 20 Perk Points, and works great. Here it is:
Weather Resistance: 3/3
Water Longetivity: 3/3
Food Longetivity: 3/3
Scavenger: 2/3 OR Intimidation: 2/3
Stotic: 2/3
Strong Bones: 2/3
Serrated Teeth: 2/3
Swim Speed Increase: 2/3
Sneaky: 2/3 OR Health Pool Increase: 2/3

This setup is ideal for Life Cycle. Weather Resistance, Food, and Water Longetivity are self explanitory. Scavenger might come in handy if you are really hungry and need to eat, and find a rotten carcass, or, you could go for Intimidation if you are more of a hunter and fighter instead. Stotic will come in handy for carrying your food, and when fighting apatos, Strong Bones are for Midgitation against Rex bites, will come in handy whern fighting one, Serrated Teeth is worth every point invested, because it increases bleed damage, Swim Speed is essential for crossing the Ocean safely, and finally, Sneaky, which can help with your loud steps, or, you could go for Health Pool.

Prey List:
This list will be divided into sections on what prey is the easiest, and hardest, and what to avoid when playing Acro. Please keep in mind that this is based on my experiences and opinions.
(Please note that Juvie is .4/.69, Subadult is .7/.99, and Adult is 1.0+, and that this section will be updated apon the release of Elasmosaurus and Utah.)

Easy Prey: Tyrannosaurus (Juvie), Parasaurolophus (Juvie), Megalosaurus (Any Size), Apatosaurus (Juvie/Sub), Itchyovenotator (Any Size), Velociraptor (Any Size) Pteranodon (Any size)
Medium Prey: Lurduosaurus (Any Size), Tyrannosaurus (Sub), Parasaurolophus (Sub)
Hard Prey: Tyrannosaurus (Adult), Apatosaurus (Adult), Parasaurolophus (Adult)
Avoid: Mosasaurus, Kronosaurus, Other Acro Packs, Tyrannosaurus Pair

it is important that you stay as far away from other Acro packs as you can, because they will kill you. In this world, it's Kill or be Killed. Or in this case, Eat or be Eaten. Stay as far away as possible from Tyrannosaurus pairs, but feel free to take on a lone one.
Fighting
Acro's bleed ability is the most important thing when it comes to hunting, please do not forget it. Please also refer to the Prey section for more information, and try to stay on the tail of your prey. Everything besides Apato is basically self explanitory, stay on the tail, don't get hit, and if you do get hit, retreat. For Apato, you need a pack to take a Sub or Adult. You can take a juvie on your own. With Apato, you need to remember your bleed damage, bite, flee, and repeat the process. Be careful of the apatos tail whip, stomp isn't much of a threat. Do not underestimate even the smallest apato, they can KILL you. Try to land bites on the side and neck, and let the Apato bleed out. If it tries to sit, run up and bite it a bunch of times.
Summary
Please note that the Acro is going to be going under changes, after all it did just come out. Please let me know if anything changes, and let me know what has changed. Please let me know anything you think should be added to this guide, and what you thought of it. Your opinion goes a long way!

Been thinking of getting back into BoB. I've never played as carnivores before (I've only really played as herbivores since you don't have to kill other players to eat), but the Acrosaur looks pog. Might try it out if I have the time

rex easily wins a 1v1 against an acro so long as it knows to use its crouch to turn
