Nancy Drew: Ghost of Thornton Hall Achievements

This is the guide to unlock all the achievements.

«Historian»

Talk with all the characters on all topics: they like to gossip and tell a lot of unpleasant things about each other. Also you need to call Savannah and Addison and ask them all the available questions. You must find compromising on all persons, as well as restore the family chronicle.

«Brewmaster»

Have 7 cups of tea in Clara's room. It must include tea, sugar, mint leaves or lemon slices.

«EMF»

Turn on the EMF device as often as possible and interact various objects with it. When you apply it to at least 15 items or locations, you will unlock this achievement.

"Spooks"

You must see at least 15 scary appearings. Just go in and out of house and cemetery. Eventually, you will see them.


Here are the list of creepies:
- Skeleton above a crypt waving a hand;
- Ghost in the hallway at the beginning of the game when you leave the workshop;
- Ghost at the beginning of the game when you open the front door;
- Charlotte in the hallway after receiving a package from Savannah;
- A large statue in a graveyard turned the head;
- When you find the first riddle (to meet the ghost) and go to the living room, Clara will not be in it, but ghosts will attack you;
- The open door of Charlotte’s bedroom when you find half the key to her lock;
- Giant rat in the workshop;
- Crows around the burned house;
- Charlotte goes down to the basement of a burned house;
- Watch the movie a second time after Clara chases you away;
- The coffin moves in the chapel;
- Shadows on the stairs;
- Charlotte is in the hallway after you have opened her bedroom door;
- Inscription on the fireplace “Help me” (third day);
- Ghost in the basement: you need to go to the stairs in a secret passage behind the barrels, turn around and return to the basement;
- The blue fabric on the left wall sways after you walk out of Charlotte’s room
- Look through the peephole (after Clara’s briefcase is open). First, Clara is in the living room and talking on the phone. We need to go back through Charlotte's room and go down to the living room: there is no one there. Then return to Charlotte’s room and back to the secret passage. Look through the peephole again: Charlotte will appear and attack you twice.

«Cotton»

Run the cotton gin in workshop 11 times.

«Easter egg»

Find at least one easter egg.



First Easter Egg:
Get down the stairs after the scales is balanced. Use the EMF near the second lantern (the instrument should be in the red zone). Touch the left wall and find the active point. Take the barrel-shaped egg.
Second easter egg:
Open the coffin with the bird 5 times and remove the Easter egg from the skeleton’s eye.
Third easter egg:
After adding the tiles and before doing the puzzle itself; click in order on all the tiles at left column, bottom row and right column until you end up at the green tile at top right corner (all periphery tiles except for the ones on top). Take the third egg from opened drawer.

«Key»

Twist the half key in lock of Charlotte's room 5 times.

«Bottled»

Click on the bottles in the basement 20 times.

«Epitaphs»

Check the unnamed gravestone (54 souls' grave) after visiting the burned down house and Nancy fainting. Now it have epitaph with Nancy’s name.

«Humanitarian»

Save all characters before the game ended.

«Trivia Tamer»

You must answer the final question correctly.

«Spoiler Free»

Never use the hint (given automatically at a Master detective).

Do you have the bonus content or phone games enabled? Sometimes that can make the game not register achievements.
I've also encountered cases where the game mode you play on can essentially disconnect from achievements. So it might not work on master sleuth, but could work on amateur kind of thing.
Other times the game just misses that you've done the task and you just need to restart the game.

Not saying your guide is wrong, I'm just wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue and what I can do about it

I found all 3 easter eggs, ran the cotton gin way more than 11x and turned the half key more than 5x, saw Nancy's name on the epitaph and saved all the characters at the end

Means that you have incorrectly fulfilled the conditions for receiving achievements. All of them have been verified by me.
