interesting, thanks for the response. i was having some weird issue with the import saying my vert count was much high than it says in blender. i think ill just try and make the model have a much lower polygon count next time.

only issue i had is texture files amount, had to merge all textures in a single file for UV

did you have to make this lower poly in order to import it? im running into an issue where the model im trying to import is way over the vertex count, but it looks like this model would be over it as well
