Green circles = Cannons (triangles are line of fire).
Cyan = Crossbows.
Rest are infantry.

Chevron shaped infantry allow the handgunners to shoot directly into flanks of enemy infantry, while allowing cannons to shoot without friendly fire. If any enemy units charge through the gap to attack handgunners or cannons, they run through a crossfire from hell."
