Feeling overwhelmed by the vast, uncaring world? Maybe you need a new perspective. Look close. Closer still. And closer …

Particulars is a game with a unique combination of arcade-action and puzzle gameplay, set in the mysterious world of subatomic particles. Alison is a young scientist who feels like life has gotten away from her. Join her on a dark and strange journey through the unsolved mysteries of the subatomic realm on her way towards regaining clarity.

Taking control of a single quark, you must negotiate the fundamental forces of the universe. Other particles will push and pull at you, keeping you on the brink of losing control and being dragged towards annihilation!

Praise for Particulars:
The game feels fantastic, it’s a joy to whiz around the simple environment. This game illustrates the idea that a game doesn’t have to be visually packed to look good; indeed, its artistic style is reminiscent of flOw.
- David Ferris on Kotaku Australia
Without a doubt, Particulars was the highlight of PAX for me. It’s an exceptional game.
- Daniel Wilks, Hyper magazine
It’s a story-led, arcade puzzle game that seems to have a lot of intelligent thought about it.
- Cara Ellison on Rock, Paper, Shotgun
Particulars makes learning physics fun, combining an intriguing story with arcade-puzzle gameplay that seems reminiscent of the award-winning Osmos. - Richard Moss on Mac Life
I haven't cried playing a video game before; it's not like it's a habit. But there's something about the loneliness of being a down quark all alone in a subatomic space that really underlined the joy in finding an anti-down quark to combine with.
- Grant Howitt for the Guardian
What is included in the demo?
The demo includes eight levels taken from the current Alpha version of the game. These levels are a selection from the first third of the game. There will be plenty more mechanics and surprises to be found in the full game, which will contain around 75 levels.

How about Tablet support?
We plan to build a dedicated Tablet version of the game after the PC release. Currently, we don't have the resources to achieve this. Launching on Steam would speed-up this process.

What other languages are planned?
We will do our best to release the game in English, Italian, German, French and Spanish at the initial release and add other languages later on.

How accurate is the science?
Particulars is inspired by - and heavily based upon - the principles behind subatomic particle physics. Having said that, the game doesn't place the exact rules and laws of physics ahead of great, enjoyable gameplay. The aim, more than anything, is to give you a feel for this alien world, and for the laws that govern it. It's a way for people to get a handle on quarks and the strong force and the craziness they entail, rather than a replacement for Wikipedia or the like.

I hate it when I have a vague idea, don't do anything with it and one or two years later someone else actually successfully made a game out of it.
