on NSTB Investigator theres a small (red) flight recorder in the back of the plane in a small crevasse by the back stairwell

Also, for some reason using C4 counts four times on each use. Lay a bunch out at once and detonate them all with one squeeze of the detonator. Goes pretty quick. ;)
