This guide contains a list of the items, spells and enemies you'll encounter in the game and was made to be somewhat better prepared before each battle, in how far that is possible in this random game. It's a work in progress.

I'm only human so there's a possibility of this guide being riddled with mistakes. If you find one, feel free to point me in the right direction and I'll change it. These mistakes can be grammar-related but also content-related.

E.g. in case of the attacks per trait or enemy, I mostly had to guess or deduce (through the experience of multiple battles) if an attack belonged to a trait or enemy. My reasoning could've been off so certain attacks might be located at the wrong trait or enemy.

The guide may also be incomplete.
Spells
Name: Description [Price, Energy to use]

ATTACK
  • Cleave: Damage selected front card and the cards beside it. [70, 6]
  • Blade Storm: Damage every front card. [90, 10]
  • Berserk: Damage selected front card.
    Then lose 2 heart and damage another random front card. [30, 4]
  • Pierce: Damage column of selected front card 2 times. [30, 4]
  • Impale: Damage column of selected front card 3 times. [50, 5]
  • Overwhelm: Select card. All front cards with that type are damaged. [50, 6]
  • Spear of light: Destroy selected column. [90, 7]

WILLPOWER
  • Arcane Missiles: Damage 3 front cards. [50, 6]
  • Comet Storm: Damage selected front card and cards around it.
    (2 on each side and one behind) [70,8]
  • Minor Heal: Restore 2 hearts [30, 3]
  • Alchemy: Convert every front card to a triple coin card. [30, 1]
  • Cosmic Inversion: Gain a cosmic portal which will cause the next enemy attack to restore heart. this effect consumes the portal. [90, 8]

DEFENSE
  • Block: Gain a magic shield which prevents all damage from the next enemy attack. This effect consumes the magic shield. [70, 6]
  • Reversal: Gain a magic trampoline which will bounce the next enemy attack, causing it to damage back cards in stead. This effect consumes the magic trampoline. [90, 8]
  • Resilience: Lose all willpower. Gain an armor for every willpower lost. [30, 3]
  • Shove: Stun enemy for 1 turn.
  • Drop Guard: Lose all armor. Gain an agility for each armor lost. [50, 1]
  • Raise Shield: Gain 4 armor [50, 5]

AGILITY
  • Disengage: Split the longest column in 2. [30, 3]
  • Shadow Stalk: Cards to the left and right of selected card, form a sequence based on that card's numeral [50, 5]
  • Perceive I: Reveal the second card from the front in each column. [30, 3]
  • Gamble: Randomize every front card. [30, 3]
  • Dodge: Double the cooldown of the current enemy ability. [50, 6]
  • Haste: Reduce another selected spell's cost by 1. (minimum 2) [10, 6]
  • Strategy: Select card. Every front card is converted to that card's type. [70, 5]
  • Backflip: Redeal all cards with an additional column. (Max. 7) [90, 5]

Energy Related
  • Topaz Shard: Start battles with +2 attack energy. [20]
  • Emerald Shard: Start battles with +2 agility energy. [20]
  • Amethyst Shard: Start battles with +2 willpower energy. [20]
  • Sapphire Shard: Start battles with +2 defense energy. [20]
  • Topaz ring: Start battles with +3 attack energy. [40]
  • Emerald ring: Start battles with +3 agility energy. [40]
  • Amethyst ring: Start battles with +3 willpower energy. [40]
  • Sapphire ring: Start battles with +3 defense energy. [40]
  • Spinning Top: Start battles with +1 of each energy. [50]
  • Amethyst skull: Gain 1 willpower when damaged. [80]

Money Related
  • Fractal Clover: Coin card rewards are doubled. [80]

Heart/Health Related
  • Healing Salve: Upgrade numeral 2 cards in your deck to restore 2 heart. [30]
  • Healing Potion: Upgrade numeral 4 cards in your deck to restore 4 heart. [60]
  • Heart Choker: Increase maximum heart by 2. [20]
  • Heart Locket: Increase maximum heart by 3 [40]

Armor/Defense related
  • Turtle: +1 to all armor gains. [80]
  • Sapphire skull: Gain 1 defense when damaged. [80]
  • Leather Patch: Start battles with +2 armor. [15]

Negative effect related
  • Spectacles: Block the first stun of each battle. [30]
  • Granite Figurine: Reduce stun effects by 1 turn. [60]
Enemies: Sections 1-3
Dirty Guppy
Mostly harmless, likes to nibble on things
    Attacks
  • Nibble: 1 damage
  • Blank Stare: Give 2 willpower

Claw Fiend
Will claw at you relentlessly from above.
    Attacks
  • Circle: Front attack cards become defense
  • Night Claw: 2 damage [1]

Bjord
Uses his ever growing beard to defend against attacks.
    Attacks
  • Hair everywhere!: Drain 1 defense
  • Pointy Stick: 3 damage [1]
  • Beard Barrier: 2 cards become bearded

Lord Guppington
Corrupt mayor of Findlehooven. Grab his gold as fast as you can.
    Attacks
  • Golden Cane: 1 damage
  • Secure the treasury: 3 coin cards become random type
  • Excruciating Gout: Give 1 random energy (to the player)
  • Hired Goon: 3 damage, and 2 coin cards become a random type
    (Personal) Notes
  • All his cards make you gain coins when revealed. He can change that.

Meadows of Madness

Gremlin
Likes to toy with his enemies, use it to your advantage.
    Attacks
  • Prismatic Zap: 4 damage [2]
  • Riddle: Randomize front cards
  • Clever: Drain 1 willpower

Thrix
A hungry little critter that will dazzle you with crazy moves so don't let up!
    Attacks
  • Gnaw: 2 damage
  • Scurry: Agility cards become willpower
  • Confuse: Stun 1 turn, 1 front card becomes dazzled

Hug Bug
Covered in thorns, and very affectionate. Keep your distance!
    Attacks
  • Big Hug: 4 damage, 2 random front cards become thorny [2]
  • Prickly: Random front card becomes thorny.
  • Insectoskeleton: Add 2 cards to new column.
Enemies: Sections 7-9
Blandlands

Man-Cat
A relentless attacker who makes the most agile champions feel slow.
    Attacks
  • Feline Reflexes: Drain 1 Agility
  • Pounce: 1 Damage, stun 1 turn
  • Scratch: 2 Damage
  • Yarn Flail: 4 Damage [1]

Zorpion
Uses poison exclusively, making armor almost useless.
    Attacks
  • Acid Barf: Burn 2 defense [1] (First destroys armor, then defense energy if no armor left)
  • Revolting: Front attack cards become defense
  • Poison Stinger: Stun 1 turn, random front card becomes poisoned
  • Choking Aroma: Random front card becomes poisoned [twice in a row]

Yomad
Crumbles as he attacks, but has a strong healing ability.
    Attacks
  • Gather the earth: Add back card to each column [2]
  • Crumbling Strike: Damage a back card, then 3 damage
  • Stoneflesh: Drain 1 attack
Enemies: Sections 10-12
Ruinous Bog

Megabarb
She's a maniac! Be smart or her growing rage attack will overwhelm you.
    Attacks
  • Frenzied swipes: 1 damage, 1 random front card becomes raging [happens 3 times in a row]
  • Thunder axe: Destroy 2 armor, then 4 damage
  • War Whistle: 2 random front cards become raging
    (Personal) Notes
  • Thunder axe is overpowered. Need a lot of armor and health going into the fight + spells that make you gain health and armor fast.
  • I fought her with the added features Iron, Armored and Sapper; the plus-side of this otherwise very negative outcome was that she can't use Rage on cards that are Armored.

Skelezoid
Will barrage you with bones and scare the willies out of you!
    Attacks
  • Battle Frenzy: 2 random front cards become enraged
  • Bouncing Skulls: 2 damage [twice in a row]
  • Bone Club: 6 damage [2]

Grimeling
Slippery, evasive, and can drive the greatest champion to madness!
    Attacks
  • Squishy: Give 1 attack (energy)
  • Gooey: Cards on either side of that card become that numeral.
  • Chomp: 3 damage
  • Cower: Front attack cards become willpower
Enemies: Sections 13-15
Jam Cube

Attacks:
  • Acidic Jam: Destroy 2 Armor, then burn 2 defense
  • Recubify: Redeal cards with one less column (minimum 3)
  • Slimy Treasures: Front Agility cards become coin
  • Spit Armor: 4 Damage
Enemies: Sections 16-18
Burlypup
Will disarm you with cuteness, then flatten you with a huge club!

Attacks:
  • Burly: Front agility cards become armored
  • Driftwood Club: 8 Damage [3]
  • Flipper Slap: 2 Damage and stun for 1 turn

Ogger
These things are HUGE. Find a way around his devastating stomp.

Attacks:
  • Stomp: 15 Damage [5]
  • Arcane Hammer: Burn 2 Defense then 2 damage
  • Smash: 3 Damage
Enemy Traits
These traits are like modifiers to make every enemy encounter feel different for every playthrough. Not all enemy traits will occur with every enemy. Some enemies like Lord Guppington don't use them ever. Knowing what attacks every trait brings into an encounter can help you in preparing for battle.

These are some of the traits that I've encountered myself with each enemy. The amount of active traits can vary from 1 to 3 as far as I've seen.

Traits: Alphabetical order

  • Armored: Cards have a chance to be corrupted with armor.
    • Armored: Random front card becomes armored


  • Attractive: A thing of beauty making it hard to attack.
    • Disarming Beauty: Drain 2 attack, front attack cards become barren

  • Barbarian: Enrages cards and has a huge axe. Expect extra damage!
    • Huge Axe: 6 Damage [1]

  • Beard: Beards absorb 1 spell damage, but can be removed in sequence normally.

  • Bureaucrat: Will barrage you with paperwork making spells more expensive.
    • Weapon Registry: Cost of attack spells increased by 1 (Maximum 10) [1]
    • Handling Fee: Cost of defense spells increased by 1 (Maximum 10) [1]
    • Speeding Ticket: Cost of agility spells increased by 1 (Maximum 10) [1]
    • Entrance Exam: Cost of willpower spells increased by 1 (Maximum 10) [1]

  • Caveman: Not very smart, but a huge pet bear makes up for it.
    • Throw Rocks: 1 damage, stun 1 turn [twice in a row]
    • Stupid: Give 1 willpower

  • Colossal: Has 2 extra rows of cards.

  • Conjurer: A master of matter. Bends the fabric of reality itself!
    • Hallucinations: Front willpower cards become dazzled, drains 3 willpower
    • Magic Mace: 4 damage [twice in a row]

  • Dazzle: Dazzle cards randomize each turn

  • Dreary: Will drain your energy, a total buzzkill!
    • Sap: Drain 1 of each energy

  • Expanding: Regeneration cards add 1 back card to their column each turn.
    • Growth: Random front card becomes regenerating
    • Endless Flesh: Front attack cards become regenerating [1]

  • Exploding: Cards have a chance to be corrupted with bombs.

  • Falconer: A majestic pet falcon will harry and punish agile champions.
    • Way of the falcon: add 1 back card for each front agility card [1]

  • Fire: Fire does 1 damage each turn, and can spread.
    • Burst of Flame: Random card becomes burning

  • Flying: Will aggresively evade you by mirroring naby cards.
    • Soar: 3 cards on either side of targeted card become that numeral

  • Frigid: Cards have a chance to be corrupted with ice

  • Greedy: Will steal coins from the board, snatch them fast!
    • Pickpocket: All front cards become barren

  • Grizzled: Beards coming out of the woodwork!

  • Humongous: Has an extra row of cards.

  • Hungry: Will heal cards as they bite you or weaken if their tummy is empty.
    • Bite: 3 Damage, add 2 back cards [1]

  • Ice: Frozen cards absorb 1 damage.
    • Chill: Random Front card becomes frozen

  • Iron: Armored cards absorb 2 damage.

  • Irresistible: Will stun you with powerful love charms.
    • Love at first sight: Stun 3 turns

  • Levitate: 2 cards on either side of targeted card become that numeral.

  • Mirrored: Stuns you for every turn they're stunned

  • Multiplying: Flesh that grows exponentially!
    • Regeneration: 2 random front cards become regenerating (1 card added per turn, max. 12)

  • Needle: Absolutely covered in Thorns!
    • Sea of Thorns: All front cards become thorny [1]
    • Thorny: Random front card becomes thorny

  • Poison: Poison does one damage each turn, ignoring armor
    • Poison: Random front card becomes poisoned

  • Priest: This enemy will heal itself by adding cards.
    • Slight Heal: Add back card
    • Huge heal: Add back card to each column

  • Puny: Has one less column.

  • Raging: Attacks will grow with every enraged card, destroy them!
    • Meltdown: 3 random front cards become enraged

  • Relentless: The enemy draws a new card if it fizzles

  • Sapper: Sets huge explosive charges, keep the front cards diverse!
    • Hurl Bomb: Random front card becomes a bomb
    • Barrel of Dynamite: Cards of most numerous type become bombs

  • Sculptor: Shapes stone int terrifying constructs bent on your destruction.
    • Obsidian Construct: 10 damage, stun 2 turns [3]

  • Spiky: Cards have a chance to be corrupted with thorns.

  • Sturdy: Recovers from stuns one turn faster. Stun champions beware.

  • Thorn: Thorns do 1 damage when removed, but not when destroyed by spells.
    • Thorny: Random front card becomes thorny

  • Venom: Armed with the most toxic potions in Myrriod!
    • Venom: 2 random front cards become poisoned

  • Warlock: Will sacrifice cards for devastating attack power.
    • Doom pact: Damage back card from each column, then 2 damage for each destroyed [4]

  • Winter: Cold swirls around this enemy in every direction!
    • Chill: Random Front card becomes frozen
    • Wall of Ice: All front cards become frozen

  • Wretched: Cards have a chance to be corrupted with poison.
