The new city we have to explore here in Bioshock Infinite(Flying City of Columbia) comes with a lot of secrets and awesome lands to explore and because a new adventure needs some basics things to know about our new environment this guide will try to present you one of the basics things that you will find during your adventure to Flying City of Columbia...The Vending Machines.

Vending machines

Vending machines are permanent fixtures(machines/standing robots) that sell various items that you may need.In Bioshock Infinite we have 3 types of vending machines:
[1]Dollar Bill(Sells useful items like ammo,health and salts)
[2]Veni Vidi Vigor(Sells vigors upgrades)
[3]Minuteman's Armory(Sells weapons upgrades)

Vigors are the primary abilities that Booker DeWitt acquires in BioShock Infinite.
Salts is like an energy needed for casting vigors.It is shown on the left-down side of your display as a blue line.You can also find this during gameplay by searching for it on dead corpses,desks,wardrobes,cabinets etc.

HINTS:
*If you cast Possession Vigor on a vending machine you may earn discounts for the items provided by that machine(around 40 silver coins).
*Scavenger Hunt: If you play 1999 mode(a hardcore mode which unlocks after you finish first time the story) there is an achievement where you must not buy anything from any Dollar-Bill Vending Machine during entire game.

Columbia's Finest DLC (extra $5 which does NOT come with Season Pass) replaces "Shotgun Damage Boost 1" and "Sniper Rifle Damage Boost 1" with "Comstock's Bird's Eye" and "Comstock's China Broom" respectively. The upgrades are free, come with golden skins and also raise the damage increase from 25% to 35%

As far as I can tell, Possession doesn't give any discount at all! Just a bit of cash. Good list of vending stock though!

Yes..you will find it during the story multiple times but meanwhile you can try to see if you can buy it from a Veni Vidi vigor machine.

When's your second oppertunity Murder of Crows? Because it was stuck in a wall or something when I was supposed to get it, and the multiple devil's Kisses that are lying around Columbia tells me that you get multiple oppertunitys.
