Game Name to Editor Name Engine List

This is a list of all the engines used in the game, listed in order as they would appear when you would create an engine on the engine stand. The list gives the corresponding name that you would use in the editor, its drive (FWD, RWD, or 4X4), and any special notes for the engine. Now includes all current DLC engines.

The only way to add the swapoption line is to add it to the config file. The editor, I believe has not been updated since the game was released. I do not know if you noticed, but the tuning tab does nothing even though there are tuning parts. A lot of other config command lines have been added as updates, but none have ever been implemented into the editor.

This is great, thank you. By the way, do you know how to add engine swap options in the game editor, or is that only possible by adding swapoptions= in the config.txt file?

As far as determining the cheapest engine, you would have to total the cost of all the parts needed to build it. This would include the cost of repairing if they are to be used and managed to get them repaired as well as if you used performance parts. Just off the top of my head, I would say either the single carb OHV or the base regular V8 without performance parts and all new parts bought from the online store. This also does not include any DLC engines.

What is the cheapest v8 engine?

CompleteEpicness: I am not sure I can add a column for listing the DLC due to how many letters and spaces I can use per line. I will have to first figure out which DLC each engine came from. I can then try and add something as a reference to the various DLCs. I do know that I will not be able to put in the full name of the DLC. The order of the engines, though, are the same as if you were making a new engine on the stand or in the drop box in the editor. The order is the same as the when each of the DLCs were released.
