Aegis Defence Line

The Aegis Defence line is a common scene on imperial battelfields, provideing simple cover for Guardsmen or anyone else to hide behind if attacked. The defender can also fire back through the use of an Interceptor Quadgun, a simple projectile launching weapon.

GW says:
Defence lines are built from crenellated shield sections that link together into a solid shieldwall. The most common type of defence line comprises two such walls back-to-back. Imperial Aegis lines can be built and deployed at such speed they are often referred to as 'instant fortresses'.


This Quadgun was the inspiration for this build, as it looked so much like the auto-cannon. This build is simple, cheap and easy to build. Here's how you can set up your own defence line

1) spawn the thing
2) save each segment as a prefab, and the gun as a sub-object
3) Place the wall parts however you please, and add the gun to the turret bases
4) Included are some pre-set holograms that could prove useful to decorate it.
