Introduction
Hi everyone, I'm Deniz and this is my first guide. You might be asking why I'm making a Black Ops I strategy guide in July 2013. Well, that's because zombies on Black Ops II really ***** and zombies on Black Ops I is really, really awesome. So yes, that's why I made this guide. When I play zombies, I play it on ''Five'', that's why I don't start with Kino Der Toten (Maybe it'll come later).

Before I start I want to tell you that I think this is the best way to make it to high rounds on ''Five''. You might have another opinion, and feel free to make a comment to tell what you think somebody should do.

Enjoy this guide and hopefully it'll help you.
The survivalling begins
You're in the pentagon, with a M1911 with 40 bullets, a knife and 2 grenades. In the first round, shoot 5 times on a zombie and then knife him. If you knife a zombie, you get more points than just shooting them until they die. With shooting 5 times and then knifing them, you get the maximum amount of points you can get out of a zombie. After round one, you should have around 1000 points. When round 2 is starting, buy a quick revive. It's in the blue vending machine. After you have bought it (the cost for one quick revive is 500 points), start repairing the windows. If you still have some ammo left, you can shoot and knife the zombies again. But, zombies are getting stronger every round, and are coming with more too. So instead of shooting them 5 times, you can shoot them 8 times and then knife. After round 2 your gun shouldn't have any ammo left. Maybe you get a Max Ammo, and then you can continue shooting & knifing. If you don't, knife them 3 times and they die.

Round 4 is starting. You still have your M1911, some or none bullets (depends on if you get the Max Ammo or not), quick revive, and your knife. Your next move is to open the first door. That will cost 750 points. Stay here until round 5, but make sure not to buy anything, so no MPL or m14. When round 5 starts, you clear the debris in front of the elevator and go downstairs.
The War Room
When you get out of the lift, you're in a big room called the ''War Room''. This room consists of two parts, the ''Catwalk'' and the ''Main Floor''. You're currently on the catwalk; a sort of balcony around the whole room. It's a hard place to survive, so get away as soon as you can. The first thing you do is to buy (finally) a weapon of the wall. The MP5k, which is on your right side when you get out of the lift. It's a good weapon to kill zombies until round 10, but after that it gets useless. Its ammo is 30/120, but you still run pretty fast out of it. You can buy 120 bullets for only 500, so the ammo isn't a huge problem.

When you have bought your MP5k, clear the next debris and go downstairs. You're now on the ''Main Floor''. Opposed to the Catwalk, this is a very easy place to survive to high rounds. There're 2 ways you can go when cleared the debris. Left, to the next elevator, or to the right, where the Juggernog machine is. Go to the left. Stay here for one or two rounds, and then make crawler. You can make it by throwing a grenade and blow a zombie's legs of. A crawler ''crawls'' very slow, so you're able to do anything you want before starting the next round. After you made it, repair some windows and then open the large elevator. Go down.
The Laboratory
When you get out of the lift, you're in the laboratory. You currently have an MP5k, some grenades, your M1911, and a knife. And, a crawler. To get perks, you need power. To upgrade your weapon, you need power. So let's turn on the power! You can find the power switch when you walk on and then it will be on your left side. Turn it on. Now you can look through the windows in the lab. There're some rooms where the box can be. Look through the glass and find the box. Open the room where the box is in and pay 950 points until you get a nice weapon. When you get a great weapon, like a Commando, RPK, HK12, Ray Gun, don't hesitate to take it. When you get a AUG, Famas, or any other good weapon, take it too, but you might want to swap it later on for a better gun. IMPORTANT: DON'T SWAP YOUR M1911. Swap your MP5k.

Let's say you got a commando from the box. Now you have a commando and a M1911. The Commando is good enough to survive to high rounds. After you got your weapon, jump in the teleporter near the power switch. It will teleport you to the War Room, or to the room you started. Jump again and again in the teleporter until you're in the War Room.
Back in the War Room
You're back in the war room with a Commando and a M1911. Like I have told you before, the Main Floor is separated in 2 parts. These 2 parts are connected, but you have to clear debris again. Clear both. Now you're able to run around the whole Main Floor. Kill the crawler and the real survivalling begins.

Zombies are coming from everywhere, but just run around, don't sprint. I think it's easier to run counter-clockwise through the war room, but that's just a personal preference.
After 1 minute of running a lot of zombies will be following you. Now make sure all zombies are behind you and then... start shooting. Don't forget to aim at their heads for more points. They also die faster then. When there're only five zombies left, make a crawler again. Repair windows and buy Juggernog. It's in the red vending machine and costs 2500 points. Now you should be ready to survive a few rounds. Don't forget to make a crawler every round to catch your breath and repair and stuff.
The Upgrade
Still wondering why I have been keeping the M1911? Well, to upgrade it. Not into just a dual-wielded gun with some more damage and ammo. No, into the best weapon on Five. Mustang and Sally, a dual-wielded grenade launcher. Shooting with Mustang while you reload with Sally, accurate firing and super-fast reloads.

With this weapon, you can make it to the highest rounds. To upgrade your weapon, you have to set all ''Defcons''. When you have Defcon 5, jump in a random teleporter. Now you're in the room where you can upgrade your weapon. You now have a commando and Mustang and Sally. Ready to defeat the Pentagon Thief.

Note: There's one thing which you have to keep in mind when using M&S: use it only at long range, because its explosions might hurt and eventually kill you if you're too close to the explosions.
The Pentagon Thief
The Pentagon Thief, strong against bullets, and weak against explosives. Good that you have your M&S. You know a thief round is coming up when you see blue lights. You're still in the war room, on the Main Floor. Now go to the Catwalk. Walk around so the stairs are on the other side. When you see the thief, get your M&S and start shooting at him. If you hit him 4 times with the M&S he goes down. Reload and go to the max ammo and bonfire sale he has dropped. When you get Bonfire Sale, you can upgrade your weapon for only 1000 points instead of 5000. Good deal, isn't it?
Finally a good loadout
Use the bonfire sale to upgrade your Commando. With an Upgraded Commando, called the Predator, and a M&S, you're unstoppable. Later you may buy any perks you like, especially Mule Kick, which gives you a third weapon slot. Go and find the box again and get your third weapon. You now have an awesome loadout to fight the undead.

Use the ''Walk-around-strategy'' and you will get far. Real far. Good luck fighting on this old but best non-DLC map on Black Ops; zombies.
Thanks for reading!
Thanks for reading! I hope this guide has helped you a lot. I would really appreciate it if you leave a like and add this guide to your favorites, because it motivates me to make more guides!

Also, make a comment about this quote:

''Black Ops 1 zombies is much better than Black Ops 2 zombies.''

I would like to know what you think about this.

noob-friendly guide, I like it! also, if you have the skill, you can align multiple zombies into a conga line and have your M1911 bullets go through up to 3 zombies, which yields 30 points per shot!

awful lawton is pretty common to pick as your mule kick gun and probably the best option for it if you train in the electric trap corridors

I legit JUST died not too long ago, and I got to round 27. I don't exactly need to read these kinds of guides, but I sometimes just want to know what other people may say or think of how to do something like this. I might try Mustang & Sally on my next high round run
