It's a Classic" Jalopy Achievement. Easiest and Fastest way.

This is a tutorial to how to obtain the tedious achievement "It's a Classic" of Jalopy. The achievement consist in roll over the odometer, of ours Laikas, reaching 1.000.000 Kms. (999.999 Km. is the max that the odometer can shows.)

With this trick, you also can get "Voyager", "Explorer" and "Grand Tourer" achievements that consist in reach 10.000, 50.000 and 100.000 Km. respectively.

This trick works in 1.0 version at date 12/10/2018.

Some users have had some problems obtaining the achievement.

The counter shows 000,000 km and the achievement never pop up.

Here is a workaround:

Simply reach less than 999,999 km and do the rest manually. It seems that it is the only way.

I found a new method to obtain the achievement.

Maybe it's not the most "moral" way to get it, but you have two options. Use this or be playing for at least two years (estimated) to get the f*cking achievement.

*Use Cheat Engine by your own risk*

So, the last decision is yours.

Algunos usuarios han tenido algunos problemas a la hora de obtenerr el logro.

Al parecer el cuenta kilómetros marca 000,000 y el logro nunca salta.

Aquí hay una solución:

Simplemente alcanza menos de 999,999 km y haz el resto de forma manual. Parece ser la única forma.

ACTUALIZADO: Nuevo método para obtener el logro "It's a Classic" usando Cheat engine.

He encontrado un nuevo método para obtener el logro.

Quizá no sea la forma más "moral" de obtenerlo pero tienes dos opciones. Usar este método o estar jugando durante, al menos, dos años (tiempo estimado) para obtener el p*to logro.

*Usa Cheat Engine bajo tu propia responsabilidad.*

Así que la última decisión te la dejo a ti.

Prueba este nuevo método y dime si te ha funcionado.



*PD: No te olvides de activar los subtítulos en el vídeo para verlos en español.

I've tried everything I can think of - I doubt anything short of contacting the developers is going to fix this.

I tried that method too a couple of months back and i still didnt get it. The problem is that once you keep falling off the map for long distances (150 000+) my odometer stops working. My odometer doesnt register every km i make, while the system does. Soo when i turn the car off and on my game picks up on the correct distance and displays it.
That one time i tried i stoped at 999 400. Drove a km with the odometer stuck on that number. Nothing happened. I turned the engine off and on and had 999 999 with the system showing i had 1 000 400
Soo maybe a solution would be to fall through the map and return to base more frequently. Maybe the odometer won't break that way.
Idk, let us know Badstormer if you manage to get it. I'm done with this game :)

Having the same problem as the guy below me. Over 999,999 miles, no achievement.

I tried doing it again from 0 but mine is still broken. Once i hit 999 999 nothing happened.

I discovered this same trick 6 months ago. I got all the achievements related to distance travelling except It's a Classic. I will try again later and see if it works
Also another trick i used. Instead of refueling the car every time you go out of fuel you can keep an object in your hand (passport for example), this way the car engine won't turn off even if fuel goes below 0. As soon as you drop the item from your hand the engine will go off.
