Introduction and Disclaimer

I think that Fallout 3 is one of the best games ever made.
I hate cheats, but they can help new players in their adventure and enable some funny stuff.
If you want to fully enjoy your Fallout 3 experience, please don't read this guide.
I'm not responsible for any damage caused by the incorrect use of these cheats.

Most of these cheats work with Fallout: New Vegas too.

Console and Basic Commands

In order to use the cheats, you must open the Console.
Press the button ~ or the button \ on your keyboard to do it.
Then, type your command and press Enter to activate it.

The following are just basic commands:

quit the game

you can create a saved slot with a custom name

Select Mode

The Select Mode is useful to manually select entities.

How to use it:
1. Make sure the entity is visible on screen
2. Open the console
3. Left click on the entity
4. Type the command
When you select any entity, its name and its ID will show at the top of the screen.
If there are multiple entites where you clicked, use the mouse scroll to select the correct one.


Select Mode commands:
- Kill
Kill selected entity
- Resurrect
Resurrect selected entity (Never use it on your dead character!)
- Unlock
Unlock selected door, container or terminal
- Lock *
Lock selected door, container or terminal. You can also set the Lock Difficulty:
+ (1 to 24: Easy)
+ (25 to 49: Medium)
+ (50 to 74: Hard)
+ (75 to 100: Very Hard)
+ (Over 100: Key Needed)

Change the name of selected entity

For anyone struggling with this the dlc codes where he has put xx00C18F 1 it’s actually 0100C18F 1…… so for the second dlc it would be 0200 then the third 0300, then 0400, then 0500

So anchorage starting numbers are 0100
The pit is 0200
Point lookout 0300 ect ect hope this helps someone at least this is my dlc load order if it still doesn’t work try using then in dif orders, and if you still don’t get it maybe you shouldn’t be messing with console commands 😅🤷🏻
