Introduction
Bleed has thirty-two Steam achievements. Most of these are fairly self-explanatory so you are probably here to find out about the hidden achievements and the secret mission objectives, which I've painstakingly achieved, verified and scribed here for you.

If you enjoy this guide, you can send me Steam trading cards, emoticons or background.

Just kidding. Sort of.
Story Mode Achievements (4)

These are the simplest achievements in the game, just beat the story mode to earn them.

There is one achievement for each difficulty level. You need to clear each mission on a specific difficulty level to earn them. Your Mission Select menu will indicate the hardest level you have cleared each mission. They are stackable, but the game is short so it is generally a better idea to start on Easy or Normal and work your way up. This will allow you to learn the game and also earn upgrades that will carry over to additional playthroughs.
Arcade Mode Achievements (4)

Arcade Mode, heh.

You have to clear the entire game in one sitting with one life bar. No retries, no refills.

Insane.

My only tip for these is to play conservative. Take it slowly and abuse your bullet time ability for all its worth. You should practice any bosses you have trouble with in the Challenge Mode.

These are stackable, but I would imagine most people will need to tackle these one step at a time.
S Rank Achievements (13)

These achievements require you to beat each boss in the game with an S Rank.

Your rank will increase through a variety of methods including graceful dodging and varied weapon use. Your rank will drop (drastically) for each hit you take and will gradually drop if the ranking meter has not filled after several seconds.

The best way to tackle these is to simply alternate your weapon multiple times over the course of each battle. This will increase your rank quickly. My personal loadout was Dual Pistols and Shotgun, but any combination will work if you have a personal preference. Just remember to switch weapons after making a few successful shots with one. Use bullet time well and don't take any damage.

If you take a damage, you may be able to recover your rank, just pay attention to the boss health gauge. I recommend letting the boss defeat you if you feel you need to retry.

You can carry your rank from the level into the boss, this is helpful for some bosses, but keep in mind that you will need to reach success the first time as your rank will reset on a game over.

These can be done on Easy if needed.
Miscellaneous Achievements (4)

Intrepid Explorer - Fall into the pit after defeating Chopper Core in Mission 1 to get this.

Quiet Contemplation - After taking the elevator to the top floor in Mission 7, hop onto the roof to the left and enjoy the scenery for a moment to get this.

Excessively Stylish - Use the katana against Rival in Mission 7 to reflect a bullets back and forth with him to get this.

Challenge Mode Champion - Simply beat Challenge Mode with three bosses. You can select which three or go random. This can be acquired on Easy.
Secret Mission Achievements (7)

Each Mission has a secret objective that will earn an achievement.

Mission 1 - Destroy all the chandeliers.

Mission 2 - Do not destroy any of the eggs on the ground.

Mission 3 - Do not cross any security lasers in the first section of the level.

Mission 4 - Defeat Bunny Rockette quickly.

Mission 5 - Do not destroy any of the little orb enemies.

Mission 6 - Do not come in contact with any of the destroyable (and reappearing) red gelatinous cubes.

Mission 7 - Make it to the roof without killing any enemy or taking any damage.

Most of these are simple enough but Mission 7's is rather insane because of the final floor with the two hallways containing an endless supply of little drill enemies. My tip for this is to be patient and wait for an opening. You may need to make two or three stops for each hallway. You can bullet time and tick your way in between drills while waiting for another opening. You may want to experiment here for a while before making a real attempt. Get a feeling for how you can squeeze in between drills and get a feeling for the leeway allowed in your hitbox. Bullet time dashing can be dangerous if there is little room to maneuver.

Hey man, cool guide, a few tips for the secret achieves; for mission 4 it's not about Rockette but the entire level (under 3 minutes), and for mission 6 you can touch the gelatinous cubes, just not with your feet (i.e. if you touch them with your head you're still good)

I'm not showing off or anything, just wondering what's so difficult. I'll help if you need it.
