How to finish the Quick Race under 45 seconds?

General tips

• Follow the optimal sailing path ( see video and map )
  
• When going upwind, keep your sail tight
  
• When going downwind, let your sails loose. Try pushing the mainsheet close to the block.
  
• Your speed should be more then 2.5 knots
  
• Start the race on the left side of the start line. You should be on a "port tack"[www.lovesailing.net] initially.

Try sailing a bit less upwind ( a bit less towards the wind ).. also, try keeping the boat flat ( by positioning yourself on the correct side of the boat )

How? Close-hauled I run 2.2, main sail fully pulled.
(still did it just under 45 sec, but... damn, I was at 46 seconds about 8 times before finally making it under the time limit)
