Making the Loading screen

To get started, visit the official gmod loading screen maker website:
https://gmod-lsm.com

Now, log in with your steam account to use the site.
You will now be on the 'Dashboard' and offered up to four loading screen slots.



Press on one of the pluses, to generate a loading screen.
You will be brought straight to the edit page.

Editing the loading screen

To change a text or image, simply click on it and type in the text that you want.
Staff members and rules can be added by hovering over the list and clicking the plus on the top right.
After that scroll down with the arrow buttons to find the newly added entry.
Later, when the loading screen is installed on your server, the list will automatically scroll.

The four buttons on the bottom allow you to customize the look, change the layout, add background images and more.

After changing everything, press 'Save changes' and click the back button on top of the page.
To preview a demo of your current settings, press the 'Preview' button.

Installing the loading screen on your Gmod Server

To install the loading screen on your gmod server:

1. Copy the 'LoadingURL' of the desired loading screen from the installation page (Click on your loading screen and then choose Installation)
   
2. then go to your gmod server files and open the folder 'garrysmod/cfg'
   
3. Now open the 'server.cfg' with any texteditor
   
4. Now paste in the sv_loadingurl "..." command
   
5. Now save and upload the file and restart the server.

Done, now the loading screen is installed.
