ReShade - Best Graphics guide(eng/ru)

It will be a simple giude on how to make your HG:L look better

1)You need to download ReShade program https://reshade. me (just delete the space).
2)After you download it (my current version is Version 3.4.1) you need to start it,double-click on the "ReShade_Setup_3.4.1".
3)And this is IMPORTANT,because you need to select the right game EXE wich is located my exmp: E:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\HELLGATE_London\bin - go to your game folder and open "bin" folder,then locate "Hellgate_sp_x86" and press OPEN .
4)!!FIRST!! you have to choose "OpenGl" and press "Yes",apply everything, that the program will ask you to(it will load required effects into your game)!!SECOND!! you have to do the same thing by instead of "OpenGl" you have to choose "Direct3D 9" and press "YES"
5)Start your game and the ReShade will start to work it may take about 1-2 minutes to load,it may even look like the game is crashed,but it's not,just take your time and wait).
6)Start your game,go somewhere outside so you can see the changes, that you're going to do with ReShade
7)Press "Shift + F2" it will open the ReShade overlay: you need to name your ReShade for this game just type anything and press "Apply".
8)Now you're in the ReShade menu and you can tweak it as you want,just toggle any effect in or out,but I'll name the effects, that I used in my ReShade , press HOME in your ReShade and you'll see all of'em let's begin:
*AdaptiveSharpen
*Clarity
*Colorfulness
*HDR
*FilmAnamorphSharpen
*Mode1(if you want your game to look sharper)
*FXAA
*SMAA
*Vibrance
*Vignette
that's it
9)Now go to the "SETTINGS" of your ReShade program and choose "Effect toggle Key" just choose any key that you don't use in the game,so you can press in on a fly to see effects ON and OFF
10)Good job,you did it,now you can adjust it as you want to,to suit your ingame atmosphere

NOTE: if you have ReShade yo ucan just download my preset and drop it into "bin" folder,then load it trough the ReShade menu

1)Вам нужно скачать ReShade с этог осайта https://reshade. me (просто уберите пробел)
2)После того,как вы скачаете его(моя версия 3.4.1) вам нужно запустить её два раза кликнув по "ReShade_Setup_3.4.1".
3)И - это ВАЖНО,вам нужно выбрать правильный экзешник,моя находится по этому адресу: E:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\HELLGATE_London\bin - зайдите в папку "bin",где находится "Hellgate_sp_x86" и нажмите OPEN
4)!!ПЕРВОЕ!! вам надо выбрать "OpenGl" и нажать "Yes",применяйте всё,чт опопросит игра(прога скачает все необходимые для работы эффекты в игру)!!ВТОРОЕ!! вам нужно сделать тоже самое,и выбрать "Direct3D 9" и нажать "Yes"
5)Начинайте игру и ReShade начнёт загружаться,это займёт 1-2 минуты и может показаться,что игра зависла,но это не так,просто расслабьте булочки и подождите
6)Начните игру и выйдите куда-нибудь наружу,что бы проще было видно изменяемые в процессе модификации эффекты
7)Нажмите "Shift + F2" и это откроет ReShade-овский оверлей: вам нужно назвать свой решейдовский файл как-нибудь,без разницы как,и нажать "Apply"
8)Теперь вы в решейдовском меню и можете настраивать игру так,как вам хочется,но я скину те пункты,которые выбирал для себя, для этих скриншотов,начнём:
*AdaptiveSharpen
*Clarity
*Colorfulness
*HDR
*FilmAnamorphSharpen
*Mode1(Если хотите,что бы картинка была ещё чётче)
*FXAA
*SMAA
*Vibrance
*Vignette
9)Теперь зайдите в "SETTINGS" вашего решейда(сверху в оверлее) и выберете "Effect toggle Key",тут вы выбираете кнопку на которую решей будет включатсья и выключаться по вашему желанию в самой игре без оверлея,ставьте любую незадействованную в игре кнопку.
10)Поздравляю,решейд настроен и теперь вы по желанию можете подогнать под необходимую вам в игре атмосферу.
ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ: Если у вас уже есть прога РиШейд,то можете просто скачать мой присет,скинуть его в папку с игрой "bin" и загрузить через РиШейд после запуска игры

I have an 86x System. I also tried to download only OpenGL but then the ReShade Menu is unavailable for some reason. And If I download only the dx9 the same Error as before (launcher starts but the game instantly closes) happens

I hope you have 86x system...
Maybe try to use Opengl reshade first and start the game(without downloading dx9 shaders),don't forget to delete previously downloaded shaders,and if it doesn't work as well try downloading dx9 and start the game,without opengl

I have a Problem. If I want to start it over Steam the game closes itself instantly. Do you know a fix for it?

I just love to play games from steam,I do the same with Stalker games,install mods and run it through steam like it's an actual stalker game

I have London2038 installed already, I don't need to run it through Steam, that just seems pointless.
