How to add a downloaded craft to SimpleRockets 2

If you ever wanted to download a craft[www.simplerockets.com] you probably wondered how to install it.
Since it isn't mentioned anywhere and requires high skilled Googling, here is how to do it:

The easier way:
Ingame, open up the menu on the top left, and click on "Download Craft". It should open up your Steam webbrowser. Then, after you click download on any craft, it will load up ingame.

If for some reason you get redirected to chrome, this method might not work. Then, you have to manually download and copy the file into the appropriate folder.

Copy the .sr2-craft file into the following folder:

%APPDATA%\..\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimpleRockets 2\UserData\CraftDesigns

To find this folder, just copy it into your explorer search bar. Copy it in and you are done! Enjoy those tediously and beautifully crafted Saturn Vs and Spaceshuttles!

It's really easy to download a craft. In any web browser, click download, and then click on the file which just downloaded. This opens the game (or if it is already open, switches to it), and tells the game to download the actual craft. Same idea for mods, download and click on the file.

I did this guide back in the day where sometimes this button would not work. The game matured and this shouldn't be an issue anymore, that's all :)

Copying the sr2-craft file to the craft designs folder will not work. If the Steam overlay browser approach isn't working, try copying the craft URL from your browser to the clipboard, then in game, use the load craft button (bound to "Control + V" by default I believe) to load the craft. You should also be able to directly execute the sr2-craft file in Windows to launch the game and load the craft.

Oh okay. I just realized this option didn't even work for me previously. When I did the "download craft" button ingame earlier, the only thing that happened was I was being redirected to chrome. Now though, when it is being opened in the steam webbrowser, it instantly "loads" in the crafts from the web page, kind of like i described it "loading" the craft I downloaded and pasted manually. Good to know that it works now!
