The fantastic soundtrack and art direction makes up for weaknesses in the story, namely a slow pace, routes that rehash the same plot points even if they don't quite fit, and a setting that seems like it should feel vast but ends up feeling small and confined.

I was more impressed at the beginning than after I finished, but still enjoyed it a lot. Would definitely recommend for catboy fans who like the visual style.

My oyajicon self was kind of disappointed by Bardo since he's p. r*pey (like, not more than typical for a BL game? but still), but there's still tsundere!Rai and awkwardvirgin!Asato, so it's all good lol

Recommended route order: Rai (feels like the default route) -> Bardo (spoils some things for Rai's route) -> Asato (best boy <3)
