It's been awhile since i played the game, i think it's the part where you get the coin/statue etc that you arrive at the end without any of them (hence empty handed)?
If that doesn't help i suggest trying to contact the dev, either below here or google his name and the first hit will point you to his twitter account.

Thanks for that information. I was aware that there's still a bug where you could get more than the 5.000 points but this helps narrowing it down. :)

Yes, it was not critical bug (it happened at day 3, when i talk with Miguel or ordered food). I loaded a save and replay the game with normal points at this try, and has got achievement.

That's weird, played it like 5 times and not encountered that once, although this guide was made before the developer made any changes, maybe that caused a bug?
You can find his profile below here, or try looking his name up on google, think he had a website or facebook, very nice guy to talk too and helpful, and if it would be a bug he might like to know.

I don't know how i got 5050 points, but at the end i didn't get "Perfection" achievement, looks it triggers only for 5000.
