First Steps
Archaea
Choose your class.
You start in the castle obtaining 1.000 Gold and the World Map.
In the left room you will find the Bestiary.

Items castle: Agility Seed and Small Medal (Thief's Key needed)
Items town: Ticket, Small Medal (blinking tile)

Get a party with a priest, a mage and a fighter. Those should be male and female.
Buy some weapons, leave the town and save on the world map.
Grind until your mage has learned fire or you have earned some Fire Crystals.
Restock/heal/save, then head into the well to fight a Mimic, which is weak to fire. You will get a Magical Ring.

Note:
  • In the beginning you should use your money to get equipment or resting at the inn.
  • You are revived automatically during your resting at inns.
  • You can only save on the world map. Later you can obtain the Visiphone during an optional sidequest, which allows you to save anytime.
  • Stick with the party members classes until they reach level 20, then switch to another one. You learn many (passive) skills that way. Learn the basic classes before you choose advanced classes.
  • The recommended levels are set for easy mode, you should at least add 5 more level per grade of difficulty.
  • This game has two endings. I will inform you what to do (or not do) to get each.
  • Optional content will be in italics.
  • The first continent is linear and opens to an semi open world.
