Getting TES3MP Up and Running
1. First you'll need a fresh install of The Elder Scrolls III Morrowind Game of the Year.
2. Next you'll need to go to https://github.com/TES3MP/TES3MP/releases/tag/tes3mp-0.8.1 and scroll down to the bottom then download "tes3mp.Win64.release.0.8.1.zip". File size 61.8 MB.
3. Next I recommend you make a new folder on your desktop or somewhere in your computer that you can easily get to.
4. Then place the "tes3mp.Win64.release.0.8.1.zip” into that new folder and use extract here on it via 7zip or winwar.
5. Then run the file "openmw-wizard.exe".
6. Follow the wizard setup for OpenMW and direct it to your “Morrowind.esm” (Normal steam path example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Morrowind\Data Files").
7. Next find and open the file "openmw-launcher.exe".
8. Click on the "Data Files" tab and make sure the load order is Tribunal then Bloodmoon (Click and drag text to the change order).
9. Next click the "Graphics" tab and change your resolution and any other options you need.
10. Finally click the play button on the lower right or go back to the "Play" tab and click play.
11. This should load a server browser where you can select a server and join. Given you are running the same version of TES3MP and have the same add-ons in the same load order.
12. For future play: You can simply run the file "tes3mp-browser.exe" I recommend just making a shortcut for it.

That's it, now you have TES3MP up and running and you can join public servers and play.
Setting Up and Joining a Private Server Using Hamachi
1. First you want to go to https://www.vpn.net/ and download and install Hamachi.
2. Next start up Hamachi and create a party by clicking the Network tab and selecting create network.
3. Enter the information for your network and send it to the other people you want to play with
4. Have the other players join the network by selecting the network tab and clicking join existing network. (NOTE: you might have to have everyone disable their windows firewalls to use hamachi)
5. Next right click the person hosting and copy their IPV4.
6. Now that everyone is in the party the person hosting needs to go back to their folder where they extracted the "tes3mp.Win64.release.0.8.1.zip" and look for the file "tes3mp-server-default.cfg" you can open this file by right clicking it and opening it with notepad.
7. Once inside the document you'll want to change the localAddress to the IPV4 of the person who will be hosting the server.
8. Then you can change the maximum number of players (Up to 64 players I believe, this number of players might be limited by Hamachi network sizes as well). You can also change the name of the server by changing hostname and add a password. Then go to file and save the document then close out of it.
9. Next go back to the TES3MP folder you made and find the file "tes3mp-client-default.cfg" (NOTE: This step must be done by everyone connecting to the server including the host of the server.).
10. Open it with notepad and change the destinationAddress to the host's IPV4. You should also add the password if there is one. Then file save the document and close out of it (NOTE: This step must be done by everyone connecting to the server including the host of the server.).
11. Now the host should look in the TES3MP they created and run a file called "tes3mp-server.exe" (NOTE: In the CMD it will warn the user that the server is not being updated on the main server list, however this doesn't matter because we are using Hamachi to create a virtual LAN and joining directly through IP.).
12. Once the tes3mp-server.exe is up and running the host and anyone looking to join the server should look for a file called "tes3mp.exe". Run this file and you and anyone joining your game should connect (I recommend that the host create a shortcut to the “tes3mp-server.exe” and anyone looking to join create a shortcut to the “tes3mp.exe”.).
13. For future play: All players should start up Hamachi, next have the host run the "tes3mp-server.exe", and finally have everyone launch "tes3mp.exe" and log into their characters.

Notes:
1. All players may have to turn off their windows firewalls to allow Hamachi to work.
2. All the saving for the game is done automatically and is saved on the host's computer.
Once Joined Server and Other Notes
1. Once in game you'll be prompted to name your character and create a password (Make sure to remember or write this information down because you'll need it each time you log into the server) (The data for your characters will be stored on the host's computer).
2. You will then be able to create your character as normal.
3. To start the main quest: You will already have the package to give to Caius Cosades so just go to his house in Balmora and talk to him.

Missing Features/ Bugs I've Found:
1. You are currently unable to pickpocket other players. (This may have been fixed in the 0.7.0 update but I have not played since the update, feel free to let me know if this is added)
2. Local areas discovered on the map seem to reset when the server restarts(Still need to confirm).

NOTES:
1. By default, there are no admins on the server, so you'll be unable to use the console. If you'd like to have full use of the console go into your TES3MP folder then go into “server\data\player” find the player that you want to set to admin, open that file with notepad then look for "staffRank" and set it to a value of "2" and look for "consoleAllowed" and set that to a value of "1". Then save the file and close the document (You can also edit character stats in this file).
2. TES3MP should work with all versions of Morrowind (GOG, Steam, and CdRom (If you have the two DLC's also installed) as long it’s a fresh install).
3. Most mods should work with TES3MP if the load order is correct, and all users have the mods.

Yeah, uninstalling hamachi, restarting, reinstalling hamachi and turning the firewall off temporarily seems to have done it, thanks for the suggestion.
ToxicDeity  [Autor] 20. Juli 2019 um 15:12
Hmm, and you said you didn't change any of the settings so the default port is still 25565 in both the "tes3mp-server-default.cfg" and "tes3mp-client-default.cfg"? If so maybe try to temporarily turn your firewall off. My guess is either the firewall is blocking the port or its something with hamachi blocking it. Maybe the port on is stuck in hamachi, so try restarting or reinstalling hamachi? It also never hurts to try to restart your computer.
Ninya 20. Juli 2019 um 10:34
Hey, having a strange issue on my end, earlier when I tried to host with hamachi it worked just fine, but later on when I tried again with the same exact settings, it started crying about "Failed to bind port. Make sure a server isn't already running on that port." Any idea what's causing this?
ToxicDeity  [Autor] 30. Mai 2019 um 16:57
Done, thanks for letting me know. I didn't know about the update.
