Play around with some of the lighting. I'd suggest you use at least 2 lights directly highlighting him and one light for the Backround. Though depending on what look you want this may not be always useful. If you want may be even play around with some of the camera settings such as tone map scale or the light settings relating to shadows. Prob a lot to take in but from my layman's perspective this is all I can really offer :/. Still atm the work looks quite sexy.
