解説
(INCOMPLETE, V ARMS ARE NOT CONVERTED FOR USE ON L4D2 AND THERE'S PLACEHOLDER TEXTURES BEING USED)

Freed from Valve's archives to grace the light once more.

After 4 years of working on them, they're still somehow incomplete. Never received the remaining files, such as their hairs, or Zoey's or Bill's eyeball textures. But, I have no other choice to release them in this state as I will never receive those final files to complete them.

DISCLAIMER:
These are not the same Survivors that Splinks released back in 2013. Splinks' version of the Survivors were majorly edited and were very much in a broken and destroyed state. Splinks was given a bunch of circumstances to get the Survivors released. Valve had told him he needed to edit each Survivor and get it done in 3 days. In those 3 days, he needed to find all of the files he could, get them running in-game, get them setup how Valve wanted him to get it setup like, and do other stuff around the company. Valve never disclosed that the Survivors were edited and Splinks never did either. Splinks had plans on updating the Survivors, but due to the beta community constantly harassing him, such a thing never transpired. Splinks ultimately tossed the raw TRS files my way and allowed me to try and finish them. I had also suffered harassment and attacks during the production of these Survivors aswell as the beta community wanted them instantly instead of waiting for me to get them completed. Sadly, due to other circumstances I was never able to complete these Survivors either, but got a tad farther than Splinks did. I was never able to source the remaining files and never got the L4D2 ports completed.

I offered Splinks to update his original upload with these when they were completed (and to add me into the credits, for obvious reasons, as I would of been the one who created the updated versions) and Splinks just told me to release it onto my Workshop.

Splinks is unhappy with the state his release of the Survivors are in, so keep that in-mind whenever I do state that the Splinks release are destroyed.

is there any l4d1 weapon animations that work with this? because it gets fucked up every time i use one with this

Holy shit this was the exact reason why this and splink's was never really fixed / worked on, because the beta l4d community sucks ass

I still really liked this realistic mod (and no playability concerns or crashes)
Developers must continue on this gem for L4D enthusiasts

Hello, I just tried mod and I had no problems playing, in the blood haverst map (with rain)
These characters are very endearing and correspond more to the spirit of the 1 than the L4D 2 Hollywood, I would even say that the characters are more rootsy, they have more survival time on their counters
Looks like the parents a few years earlier from the infection, in the 1 or 2 would rather be their children
in the mod there we are more in form than in substance, old players like me will prefer it, purists prefer 1, even 1 with its characters there
With the mods (which are finally difficult to manage in the 2) I stay as close as possible to the philosophy of the game, I have about 350 of them well sorted, and I remove more and more to stick in the philosophy of the 1
I stay in 2 because of melee weapons (I boycotted it for a long time)
With bot management (Advanced Bot AI]给bot加智 by M RogoShum) this mod plus the melee weapons of 2 all that in 1 and it's perfect
