Arcana Heart 3 LOVE MAX!!!!! achievements guide

it turns out that, so far nobody has done this yet, not even for the six stars version of the game.
both games do share the same achievements and clear methods, strategic guide included because i'm in the mood for it!

Basic achievements

No Train No Gain

head to the training mode, pick your characters and then play there for 15 minutes, you may want to idle there.

Storybook Ending

head to the options mode, pick the lowest difficulty option and the lowest rounds number, go play the story mode and finish it by defeating Ragnarok

Storybook Ending X-TREME

finish the story mode on the highest difficulty setting, by setting the rounds counter to 1 victory per match this forces the mid boss scharlachrot unable to go for her perma-arcana extend mode on the seconde round, since the second round : doesn't exist at all in the fight, you don't really have to finish it without continuing so you may want to continue as much as you want, if you feel unable to defeat the final boss, pick any character, and use the metal arcana, with it's arcana blaze you can hit the boss easily.

I...I Just Couldn't Look Away...

experience the bad ending in the story mode, change the timer in the options to 30 secondes and difficulty setting to 1, the bad ending triggers if you defeat the final boss with a timer victory (having more health than it's when the round's timer ends )

With Our Powers Combined!

win a round with an arcana blaze, simply bring down your opponent's health close to end and use an arcana blaze, by activating the arcana extend mode with A+B+C then use 236 A+B+C

Critically Acclaimed

finish an opponent with a critical heart, every character has a critical heart which requires a level 3 meter, just finish off any round with a critical heart move, the easiest way to do it is to pick the metal arcana, and head to a corner and charge your bars with 4E then you'll be able to execute it in case you can't farm meter easily, angelia's critical heart is easy to pull off if you mash A+B+C three times in case you couldn't find an easy character.

Of Critical Importance

pulling a critical heart extend move requires you to be on the arcana blaze mode and pulling a critical heart move, simply end an opponent's health with a critical heart extend move, as i said use angelia's critical heart while being on the arcana extend mode

Un-Natural Female Enhancement

while blocking attacks, use your Extended Blast which is done by pressing A+B+C while guarding

Archangel

simply use every character in the game, head to the VS mode and pick every character, or you may want to do this while going for the Good Morning, Angels achievement ( see the network achievements )

Mycana, not Ourcana

just use every arcana available in the game

Chillin' in the Hot Spring!

finish the after story mode, the mode consists of a scenario for each character, each scenario gets unlocked after you finish a specific one, and they all have a fight, the achievement is unlocked after you finish the last part

Hey, No Peeking!

during the last scenario in the after story mode you'll arrive at a point in which you have to read a conversation between every girl while they're at the hot sources lake press the cancel button, then a cursor will appear, use the confirm button while navigating to whip out the steam from the scene, keep doing this until you get the achievement, should take a couple of minutes .

You Only Have Eyes for Me!

max out a character's Love points, each character has it's own love points which do get maxed at 10000, you get a set of points on each match victory, and each time you lose in the score attack mode you get 8 points, so it's a hell of a grind! good luck!

You're the Only One for Me

view every character's special intro, the special intro plays at the beginning of a match if 2 specific characters do fight each other, here is the full list :

Good Morning, Angels

fight and win online against every character, grab a boosting friend and go do it, should take 2 minutes each fight.

score attack and time attack achievements

The score attack mode consists of a serie of fights, through out the fights you can keep your arcana gauge and super meter, you gain a small chunk of health each victory, losing allows you to continue and finish the mode rewards you with the achievement :

God is dead

defeat kamui, the final boss of the mode, you get to fight her in a powered up mode, i suggest you use your main character, or you may want to use angelia, use her critical heart and arcana blaze to finish off the boss quickly



The time attack mode however, has you played a best out of 3, the final boss is fiona and mildred, the mode has 10 fights and the meter gain is higher than in the normal modes so even without the metal arcana you still can manage to farm meter easily :

It's Okay to Bust that Ghost, Right?!

defeat fiona and mildred, she does heavy damage, again use angelia and her critical heart, defend yourself while regaining meter and do it again.

Faster! Faster! Go Go GO!

finish the mode under 20 minutes, theorically if you do'nt lose a single round you'd finish the mode at a time arround 12 minutes.

Over Before it Began...?

now this is a tough one, and here is how i could get it : pick angelia, with any arcana, more prefferably the punishement arcana as it passively gives a damage boost or the luck arcana, go combo a bit and you'll get meter enough to quickly finish off every opponent, simply mash A+B+C when you get your level 3 meter and you'll finish them off in 2 hits. with this strat i could make it to arround 9 minutes in the timer.

Arcana specific achievements

Each Arcana has an achievement specific to it, it is very recommended to achieve these in the 2 players VS mode :

Love

using the love arcana : reflect 30 projectiles in a single fight, all i did was to pick 2 characters with 2 love arcanas, i threw a projectile with one character, and i used the other to reflect it with 214E 30 times

Lightning

using the lightning arcana : use 623E immediately after clashing 3 times in a single fight, easy to land in the VS mode i guess, hold both E buttons at the same time for both characters to make them clash easily and use 623E immediately after clashing

Time

using the time arcana, your backdash acts as a blocking mechanic, use it to block 3 attacks in a single fight

nature

using the nature arcana, in a single fight,take some damage and then use 236236E as much as you can to heal 2000 points of damage to get the achievement

Earth

tank 15K without getting knocked down, do it agains't angelia, make angelia get a level 3 meter and use her critical heart attack, as soon as she activates it, activate your arcana extend mode to tank it, if you don't get the achievement do it another time.

Fire

using the fire arcana simply hit the opponent with a fully charged E attack

Wind

let the wind arcana projectile fly arround for 10 secondes, pick a wind arcana user and a time arcana user, let the time arcana user use her arcana blaze which stops time, while she's in her arcana blaze animation, high jump as the wind arcana character and use your 236E, then let the time arcana blaze trigger, this should stop everything on screen for a couple of secondes, then once it wears off, try to dodge it for the rest of the secondes by homing to the edge of the screen while you're grounded.

Darkness

use your 236236E and keep holding the E button for 10 secondes

Poison

poison your opponent and keep it poisoned, enough for the poison to deal 5000 damage in a single match

Water

using the water arcana, use 236E and make it absorb 20 attacks in a single match

Metal

use your 4E to charge your meter once

Holy

take some damage, then activate your arcana extend mode and let it heal, rinse and repeat to get the achievement, in one fight

Ice

use 236E or 236236E to make snow fall, crack it to snowflakes enough to create 1000 snowflakes and you'll get the achievement, do it in one match to earn it.

Punishement

just use a charged E to break an opponent's guard, simply have your second player guard itself while you use the E charged attack

Sin

use a E charged attack, a special arcana move, an arcana super move and finally an arcana blaze, all using the sin arcana in one match.

Magnetism

using the magnetism arcana, in one match, hit your opponent with a washing basin, you can pull it off with the 236E or 236236E, this move pulls off random objects so it's purely luck based, it usually comes out in the middle of the stage

light

simply summon mildred by activating the arcana extend mode 10 times, it doesn't have all to be in one match

sound

to make a 50 hits combo using the sound arcana, use it's 236E to summon 5 tiny canons, bring your opponent in front of them, use 623E without actually touching the canons, then immeditaly use 641236E, you should at least get 50 or 51 hits

blossom

use 214, you can do it to plant a maximum of 3 plants per area, harvest them with 623E after they reach their final stage of evolution, each plant has 4 stages and using your arcana extend mode evolves them instantly so consider abusing it, harvest 5 plants in a single match to get the achievement.

Tyr

activate the arcana extend mode 10 times in a single match

luck

this is a luck based achievement, basically using the luck arcana try to get a 1/1 dices result with your 236236E, keep trying until you get it and avoid using any move that increases your luck such as 623E

Fenrir

clash a move with your 236E to get the achievement, simple

Mirror

this is a tough one, using the mirror arcana use 236E, air 236E, 236236E and the air version agaisn't every character in the game including parace from the trials mode

Trials achievements

The trials mode offers you 30 missions, each time you clear a mission you're given a medal, to clear it easily we'll be using angelia w/ the metal arcana and the time arcana, i'll be covering the hardest trials since i'm pretty sure you guys can sort yourself out in the rest of them as they simply task you with stuff like finishing off a character with a specific move or KOing it with only normal moves :

we'll be using this strategy most of them so instead of typing it more than once in this guide, i'll be calling it the IK strat : in your first round and by using the metal arcana, charge your super bar using 4E until you get to the third level, in the second round use angelia's critical heart and then use her metal arcana's arcana blaze to finish off the opponent

Win by Perfect :

use the IK strat, you only need to perfect one round.

Win in 10 seconds or less

IK strat, charge in the first round, kill in the second round

Do 10,000 damage in one combo without Arcana Blaze/Arcana gauge

we'll be achieving this using angelia's ending sadness which consists of you holding A, B or C for a given moment, if you hold it for 50 secondes, it'll reach it's final level and do an unblockable hit causing more 12800 damage

Do a jump attack into ground attack chain 3x in 1 combo

using the time arcana, use your arcana blaze to stop time then rush into the opponent and do an air hit>ground hit and repeat it 3 times before the time freeze stops.

Connect with 7/10/13 different attacks in one combo

using the time arcana, freeze time with your arcana blaze and do this combo, it's not a hard combo but it sort of requires some training so bear with it : Jump homing jA (land) 5A>5B>5C>6C>5E>2A>2B>2C>2E>8A> 214A+B>41236A+B.


the 10th trial consists of fighting a boss, each boss gives a medal :

bronze : you'll be fighting Scharlachrot in an overpowered mode
silver : angelia with mildred

for both of these bosses, use i doubt you can try to go for the IK strat, but if you can : do it, in case you can't : start your round by using angelia's 236AB then quickly go for your arcana extend mode into 214BC, afterwards you should be quickly gaining meter enough to follow it up again with a 236AB then manage yourself to win, the fight shouldn't be hard.

Gold : you'll be fighting the hardest boss in fighting games : Parace L'Sia, parace L'Sia moves faster and does high damaging combos, unlike her version from the previous game, she doesn't lose health each time you continue, basically she has a move in which she restores her health each time she's damaged, this fight is going to relay on luck a lot, simply try to damage her with any given move, try for instance 214AB, which has a nice window of invincibility, once she covers herself in a big crystal, use this chance to charge up your meter with the metal arcana, once you get 2 meters or more, you're doing fine, try your best to maximise it and use your second round to use your critical heart, play defensively then use it again. good luck!

Gallery achievements

I Remember EVERYTHING!

each character has a set of stories and side stories, 5 for the former and 10 for the latter, you get to unlock these randomly, i suggest you leave this achievement for a late time, but if you want to focus on it, try the score attack mode with each character until you unlock all of their stories .

I Was Just Looking!

the visual gallery mode is filled with character animations and some cool gallery items, to get fill the visual gallery 1 items, finish every character's story mode, note that clarice and Scharlachrot and maori do have some bonus ones :

for clarice use her : Il Flaco or Il Rapimento, Il Chroma, and Il Risveglio
as for Scharlachrot : use her critical heart extend
Maori : has two extra from her Critical Heart (or from using both her 2 supers).

to fill the second visual gallery mode, view every character's stories and side stories in order to unlock them all, so basically you need to first unlock the previous achievement before moving to this one.

if you don't unlock this achievement after clearing everything, close the gallery mode and reopen it

It's Moving...

Each character has a list of animations that play while they are fighting. They are unlocked during Story mode, VS mode, and network mode. Most characters have the same general initial ones - Normal, Advantageous, Very Advantageous, Disadvantageous, Very Disadvantageous, Attack 1, Attack 2, Attack 3, Taking Damage, Win, Loss. Attack 3 is often unlocked by using their Critical Heart, Critical Heart Extend, or a high damaging Arcana Blaze. Then, every character has a couple of extra ones. Here's a general list:

Perfect Victory

(Win by perfect, 1 round ok) - Heart, Kamui, Fiona

Straight Victory

(2 round minimum, win without losing a round, no rounds can be perfect) - Saki,Maori
Critical Heart Victory - Clarice

Special Victory 1 -

Konoha, Mei Fang, Lilika, Lieselotte, Yoriko, Kira, Petra, Zenia, Angelia, Elza,
Catherine, Dorothy, Akane, Nazuna, Parase L'Sia, Scharlachrot, Eko, Weiss

Special Victory 2 -

Konoha, Mei Fang, Weiss


Special Victory 1 for everyone other than Konoha, Mei Fang, Akane, Elsa, Petra, Weiss: Set it to 2 rounds, lose the first round, win the second round, and then win the 3rd round with under 25% health and with a super move or greater. For Konoha and Mei Fang, do this but with 1 round. For Akane, Elsa, and Petra, do this but do not lose a round. For Weiss win the final round with a perfect and Critical Heart (NOT Critical Heart Extend)

Special Victory 2 for Konoha and Mei Fang: Do as above. For Weiss, you must do the above without losing a round.

if you can't unlock Attack 3 for some low damaging characters, with the punishement arcana, use it's arcana extend mode (which buffs your damage drastically ) then just use an ABC into special into super

nazuna : 5A>5B>5C>623B>214AB

final words

I'm pretty sure only a few would visit this page, the game is dead and has a low clear rate for an unknwon reason, perhaps i thank you for visiting and using my guide, also i thank both examu and arcsys works for porting the game to PC.



Consider buying the latest version instead, it's a shame the porters did offer it for the full price of this one, good luck!

omg, i have played BlazBlue, it have even cancel button to deal combos, i remember some games need to press back button or crouch button to cancel air combos, etc... This game have hard cancel system, may you create a guide just for talking about "cancel system" please?

you don't have to delay hits, right after you hit, input a different command to cancel the one you're doing, this is a common thing for 2D anime fighters.
