Custom Resolution, Enable Multiplayer & Skip Intros

Intro

The Steam version of Dungeon Siege has disabled multiplayer and only uses some very low resolutions in the game options.

Specifying Launch Options

• In your Steam Game Library, find the game, right click it and click Properties.
  
• Click the "Set launch options..." button.
  
• You can enter the following possible options. Leave a space between each command.
  
  • Skip Intro Logos:
    nointro=true
    
  • Custom Width and Height: (Change to your desired resolution but leave in "bpp=32")
    width=1920 height=1080 bpp=32
    
  • Boot into Multiplayer menu: (This also skips intros.)
    zonematch=true
    
  • Play in a window:
    fullscreen=false

Notes:

• Example of use: width=1920 height=1080 bpp=32 zonematch=true
  
• When specifying a high resolution, the game will warn you that it is not supported before playing. You can click OK and ignore this.
  
• Once you come out of the multiplayer menu, you will need to restart the game to get back to it.

Playing Multiplayer

• Install and setup a Hamachi[secure.logmein.com] network.
  
• Enable the command above to have the game boot into the multiplayer menu straight away.
  
• Run the game.
  
• From the menu, click the Network option. You should be able to host and join other games from here.

do you need to pay to use hamachi so to play multiplayer? or is there another way to get multiplayer to work?

1080P works a treat, Never really played MP but will try that out later. Is there any way i can potentially change the zoom range to zoom out a bit further now that i have 1080?

When I attempt to begin a multiplayer game, it just freezes as a black screen

Yaay! fullscreen, thanks! I thought that not it worked because the menu was equal but in the game is fullscreen.

Any way to make the zoom function to work correctly? For me the zoom doesn't go all the way no matter how much I scroll the middle mouse button. The view stays uncomfortably close at all times and it makes playing DS really irritating. otherwise the game looks actually really good with the HD textures mod and forced AA.
